It didn't take long for Tuesday to roll around and the afternoon found him having lunch with Tea.

"Yugi are you going to eat your food or just play with it?" she inquired with a smirk.

"What?" Yugi replied looking up from his plate of noodles. "Oh sorry Tea I was…" He let the sentence go as an image of the Dark Magician flashed through his mind again.

"You're thinking about him again aren't you?" Tea accused with a sigh.

"Him?" Yugi gulped snapping to attention.

"Yes him, mystery boy the one you won't tell anyone about."

Yugi gaped at her becoming suddenly nervous in front of his best female friend. "I…I have no idea what you're talking about", he stuttered staring at her like a dear trapped in headlights.

Tea sighed, "Come on Yugi we all know you're gay, heck I'm Bi for crying out loud."

"It's not that simple Tea", Yugi replied with an even bigger sigh. "You've all known for a long time that's not the point! I mean how could you not know after Kaiba…" He let the sentence fall short as it felt like a knife was shoved straight through his heart.

Tea flinched at the very mention of the name. She could still see it like it was yesterday. A fateful car crash and Kaiba had died leaving Yugi forever. She felt the pain in his eyes at just speaking his name. "Yugi I'm sorry I didn't…" Tea apologized feeling like low life scum for brining it up.

"It's ok Tea I know you didn't mean to", Yugi reassured solemnly. They ate the rest of the meal in near silence and before Yugi knew it they where leaving the restaurant. He said his goodbye's to his friend and headed off to the store.

He returned home carrying two bottles of alcohol, snacks and a bunch of videos. "Alcohol, junk food, and porn no better way to spend a birthday", Yugi mused setting everything down on the counter. He went up stars and changed into a t-shirt and shorts. After getting comfortable he flipped on the TV taking a swig of his chosen alcoholic beverage. He quirked an eyebrow as the movie started to play. He turned the loud volume down as moans and other erotic sounds filled the once quiet room. He began to stare at the screen in awe. "They can…do that?" He inquired aloud angling to get a better look. He took another swig of his drink his eyes wide. Not to unsurprising his shorts began to feel a little tight. He looked down with a grimace. What would Grandpa think? Yugi sighed inwardly. "First off I'm gay, now I'm getting drunk and watching porn to try and cover up how miserable I am", He grumbled aloud. He stood up and ejected the tape putting it back in the stack of other videos. On pure instinct he reached for his deck shuffling through the cards. Not stopping until the last card which happened to be the card he was looking for. "Dark Magician", Yugi sighed putting the rest of the cards away.

At that moment the clock numbers switched to 11:59 pm. One minute left till the end of the day and Yugi had yet to make a wish, had yet to even consider one. He stared intently at the card with sad eyes. "I wish you could take all the pain away", He murmured softly. He set the card back on the table lying down on the couch as the tears began to fall. He eventually cried himself to sleep never realizing what he had just done.

Light shined from the little box containing Yugi's Make A Wish star just as the clock changed to 12:00 am. When the light finally faded the Dark Magician was left kneeling next to Yugi's bed. "My master is in pain, I must help him", the mage acknowledged solemnly. He stood walking soundlessly out of his master's room and down the stairs. When he reached the couch he frowned, his eyes growing sad at the sight of his master. "So much pain, so much sorrow", He whispered running his fingers along the duelist's cheek.

Yugi stirred slightly blinking his eyes open to stare into shocking blue. "What the…? Who the hell are you?" Yugi demanded sitting up abruptly.

"Calm down master Yugi, it is me" The Dark Magician pleaded holding his hands up.

"D…Dark Magician!!!!" Yugi yelped blinking wide eyes. "How…I don't…How!?" He spluttered wondering if he was dreaming.

"You wished for me and I came", the mage answered simply putting his arms back down to his sides.

"I did…?" Yugi started, "Oh my god the star… It worked? I thought it was just a myth, some silly superstition", He added upon remembering the gift.

"It doesn't always, just when someone really needs it to", Dark Magician explained with a shrug.

"What am I saying, you can't be real!" Yugi laughed darkly at his own stupidity. "I'm just dreaming, that's it", he decided.

"You are not dreaming", the mage replied stepping closer, "and I am real", he added brushing his fingers once more across the duelists cheek.

Yugi stiffened, "why? How? It was just supposed to be some stupid trinket." He replied shrugging off the other man's touch.

The mage stepped back, "You would rather it had left you, alone and miserable?" He questioned studying the other.

"I'm not alone I have plenty of friends", Yugi retorted. As for the miserable part he didn't really have anything to say. Sure he had a good life but when it came right down to it he was just that.

"I can help you know, if you'll let me", Dark Magician offered softly as he stepped closer once more.

"Why should I? It won't last; you'll just leave me like everyone else", Yugi questioned tears beginning to form in his eyes once more.

"I would never leave you", the mage answered reaching out yet again.

"Grandpa left…Kaiba left, why wouldn't you?" Yugi inquired with a muffled sob.

"You are my master and you wished me here, I would never think of leaving unless you wished it", the mage answered softly staring into sad violet eyes.

"So you're just here because you're one of my cards? Great that makes me feel a whole lot better." Yugi retorted turning his eyes away.

The mage chuckled, "Hardly the case, not all duel monsters like their masters. Take Underwood for example. Most monsters can't stand him. That is why he sticks to insects they're to dumb to care."

Yugi couldn't help but smile at that thought. Joey would just love to rub that in the little weasel's face. He thought fondly. "So you…like me then?" he inquired. As soon as he voiced it the question seemed stupid, but still he had to ask.

"I do…and your dreams…" The mage paused leaning in close to the others ear. "Where real for me", he added smirking as the duelist tensed almost immediately.

"Real for…" Yugi trailed off he felt suddenly weak like he wanted to faint. "Do you want me?" The words seemed to just slip off his tongue. It wasn't meant to be a tease it was more of an offering an unsure question that he needed answered.

"Hai, I've always wanted you Yugi. The question is do you want me?" The mage replied locking the others eyes in his own bright blue gaze.

"You honestly have to ask?" Yugi replied quirking an eyebrow. He was so close, his dream was right there, wanting and willing. With his hands shaking he reached out fearfully then pulled back as if his touch would make the magician disappear.

"You can touch me Yugi I'm not going anywhere", Dark Magician informed softly trying his best not to chide. He grasped the duelist's hand placing it against his cheek.

It was then that Yugi decided to notice that the mage wasn't wearing his normal out fit. Instead he was wearing a purple button down shirt, tucked perfectly into black slacks. He fought to keep his jaw from dropping. God he looks good. "So um do you have a name or do I have to call you Dark?" Yugi inquired with a smirk.

The Mage couldn't help but laugh. Finally he's lightening up I thought it was hopeless for a moment there. He thought relieved. "My name is Kai", he replied with a smile as Yugi's hand stayed at his cheek.

"Kai hmmm? I like that" Yugi replied leaning in to kiss the man on the lips. He wasn't surprised when Kai took over gently coaxing his mouth open. He let a soft sigh escape allowing the mage to slip his tongue past his lips. Yugi could feel himself getting hard again. Just the mere thought of what might happen next was driving him insane.

"I want you Yugi, but I don't want to push this", Kai informed. They where staring at each other again. Searching each others eyes for answers.

"Take me Kai, I want you so bad…please?" Yugi pleaded feeling lost in the others brilliant blue eyes.

"Your wish is my command", Kai replied. He lifted Yugi into strong arms carrying the shocked duelist up to his room. Once there he laid Yugi on the bed and crawled on top of him. He looked down into soft violet eyes as he captured their owner's lips with his own.

Yugi opened his mouth without prompting welcoming the mage to explore. He reached out blindly threading his fingers in Kai's lilac colored hair. He felt cool fingertips slide under his shirt and he couldn't help but shiver. Before he had time to really react however he was divested of the garment, whimpering at the loss of that wonderful mouth.

Kai moved trailing his lips over every inch of newly exposed skin. He could feel the passion building in his master, no his lover. For this to work they had to be and he wanted them to be lovers. No longer a master and a servant they where equal.

Yugi, growing bolder flipped them over much to the mage's surprise. Deft fingers un-tucked and unbuttoned Kai's purple shirt with ease. "Didn't think I'd just sit back and let you have all the fun now did you?" Yugi queried with a smirk. He let his finger trail idly along the mage's chest.

"Not at all I was actually counting on the fact you wouldn't", Kai replied with a sultry smile. He couldn't help the sigh that escaped as Yugi began to trail kisses along his chest. He sat up allowing the duelist to slide his shirt over broad shoulders.

Yugi let the shirt stay for the moment leaning in to cares the mage's jaw line and neck with his lips. He let his hands wander down strong arms to remove the shirt completely. Pushing Kai back to the bed he trailed a warm finger tip above the waistband of his black slacks. Hesitating only for a second he un buttoned them, as he slid the zipper down he purposely brushed his hand along the growing bulge concealed in the dark material.

Kai moaned as his lover slowly pulled at his pants. "You can if you want to you know." He informed slightly breathless. He heard the soft flop as his pants hit the floor in a heap. He looked up as Yugi crawled back over him sighing softly as he leaned in close.

"Mmm maybe some other time, I want you in me Kai. I just wanted to help get you there quicker", Yugi replied his breath soft on the others cheek. He gasped softly as he was flipped over landing the mage on top once more. He moaned as a gentle hand felt between his thighs. "Please..."

"Please what Yugi", Kai purred pulling at his lover's shorts.

"Please…need…nhmmm" Yugi moaned as he was now left wearing only his boxers. He tried desperately to gain more of that intoxicating touch. It was almost like his dreams, the way he kissed, the way they talked. Only this time it was real and not just for Kai. This time it was real for Yugi too.

"Such impatience", Kai chided his fingers teasing at the duelist's hips.

"I…knew you where going to…mmm say that", Yugi replied between panting breaths. "And I'm not impatient, you're just a tease!" He retorted with a smirk.

Kai chuckled, "maybe I am but you like it and so do I", he replied leaning in to claim the duelist's mouth with his own. He felt Yugi moan into the kiss sending a wave of heat straight to his groin. He knew his lover couldn't wait much longer and not wanting to himself he broke the kiss to rid them of the rest of their clothing.

Yugi was now perfectly naked and in a perfect state of bliss. As Kai's hands roamed his body and his lips followed their trail.

"Yugi I'm going to need…" Kai whispered against the duelist's chest. His hands trailed his lover's thighs barely hinting at where they would go next.

"Nightstand…top drawer" Yugi mumbled waiting patiently for the warmth of his lover's body to return to him. A low moan slipped out as he felt his legs being spread and a cool, slick finger teasing his entrance. He tensed hissing lightly as the finger pressed inside.

"Shhh koi it'll get better", Kai soothed kissing along Yugi's neck and shoulders.

"I know, just been a while", Yugi replied fighting the urge to cringe as another finger was added.

"I'm so sorry koi", the mage apologized, "here this should help", Kai added pushing until he found that certain spot. He felt the duelist's body arch off the bed. Heard the cry of pleasure and saw it as the perfect opportunity to slide the third and final finger inside.

Yugi moaned as the mage continued his preparation. Then he was being pulled into his lover's lap and something larger was being pressed against him. He forced himself to relax as Kai pushed himself deeper inside only stopping when he was buried completely. A calming breath escaped his lips in a soft puff and for the moment everything was still. He felt soft lips cover his own and his lover slowly withdraw. A tongue probing and searching as Kai thrust back in. His back arched his head snapping back as the spot was found again and again.

Kai kept a steady pace happy to hear his koi's sounds of pleasure no matter how incoherent they where. "Mmm Koi you feel so good", he moaned capturing those lips once more in a searing kiss.

"Oh God Kai…don't stop. Harder please harder!" Yugi cried breaking the kiss. He cried out his lover's name as the pace was increased. Surprisingly smooth fingers took hold of his erection pumping in time with each impaling thrust. "Yes ooooh yesssssss", Yugi moaned feeling so close.

Kai thrust as hard as he could watching his lover in ecstasy bringing him closer as well. He felt Yugi's body go taught and heard him cry out his name as the Duelist spilled himself into the mage's waiting hand. With two more hard thrusts into the tightened passage he toppled over. He moaned his lover's name as he released deep inside Yugi's still tense body. With the last of his strength he pulled himself from his koi and rolled onto his back.

Yugi followed soon after snuggling up to the mage's chest. "Kai that was…"

"Amazing?" The mage offered running his fingers through the duelist's sweat slicked hair. Yugi nodded almost purring at the gentle touch. "Yugi you must know that I will never leave you. I am here to stay as long as you will have me", The mage reaffirmed looking seriously into violet eyes.

"So you're going to be here when I wake up?" Yugi inquired running his fingers along Kai's chest. The mage nodded kissing him softly on the fore head.

"Happy Birthday Yugi" Kai stated softly.

"Hey wait…how did you?" Yugi spluttered leaning back.

"A Magician never reveals his secrets you should know that by now", Kai teased with a laugh. He pulled Yugi back into his arms after lifting the covers over them. "Come on Koi you're almost a sleep as it is…we can talk more tomorrow I promise", the mage stated.

Yugi nodded, "Tomorrow", he murmured. For once that thought didn't seem to be such a bad thing. He nuzzled his cheek against the mage's chest his eyes fluttering closed. He fell a sleep with a soft sigh as Kai ran fingers through his hair lulling the duelist to sleep with the action and the soft rhythmic beating of his heart.
