Chapter 8: A secret revealed.

 

Yugi was searching for someone to duel. A cheering crowd attracted him. It was a duel. Espa Roba was dueling against a girl. Her shoulder length black hair gleamed as she smirked cruelly.

 

“You thought you could beat me?” the girl laughed., “Dark Necrofear attack!” The monster sliced through the Cyber Raider like butter and took Espa's life points to zero. “You lose, now hand over your beads.” She walked over to Espa in violet knee high boots that matcher her minic\-skirt and tank top. Taking the beads from Espa she kicked him on the ground, “Who else thinks they can defeat my fiends?” She smirked cruelly to everyone in the crowd.

 

“I will,” Yugi transformed into Yami and stepped up, “I can't let your cruelty to others go unpunished.” He announced, looking her in the eye.

 

“Ah, Yugi Motou. I was wondering if I'd duel you.” The girl smirked even more, “This should be fun.”

 

“Don't do it,” Espa coughed, “She's Rose Matek, the Fiend queen.”

 

“Shut up you!” Rose snapped as she kicked Espa again, who yelped. “So Yugi, are you sure you want to lose?”

 

“We'll see who is going to lose,” Yami replied calmly.

 

“LET”S DUEL!” They said in unison.

 

“How about I start this of,” Rose began, “with a card face down in defense. And a magic card face down.” She placed the cards down, “You may go now.”

 

“I'll play Light of Intervention, revealing all your face down cards,” Roses face down card revealed Melchid the four-faced beast I Attack 1500 defense 1200 I “And I'll summon the celtic guardian, now attack Melchid.” The elf attacked the fiend and destroyed it.

 

“I'll Summon La Jinn the mystical genie of the lamp I Attack 1800 Defense 1000 I Now La Jinn, attack Celtic guardian." Rose called as La Jinn completely wiped out Celtic Guardian. Yugi 3600 Rose 4000.

 

“I'll play Beta the Magnet warrior (Check First Chapter) in defense, and A magic card face down.” Yami called.

 

“I'll summon wall of Illusion in defense and now La Jinn, attack!”

 

“Hah, my magic card was mirror force, reflecting your attack back at you, destroying La Jinn.”

 

“Fine, I end My turn.” Rose glared, defiantly.

 

“Now I'll sacrifice Beta and summon Summoned Skull in attack, and since I know Wall Of Illusions effect I won't attack, instead I'll place a magic card. And end my turn.”

 

“I chose to end my turn without doing anything,”

 

`What she planning, it's like she doesn't even care that her cards are being destroyed,' “I'll play Fissure to destroy your wall of Illusion, now summoned skull attack her life points directly” Yugi 3600 Rose 1500.

 

“Perfect, I will remove all my monsters from play to summon Dark Necrofear, and I'll equip her with axe of dispair to increase her attack by 1000, I attack 3200 Defense 2800 I Now attack summoned skull.” Yugi 2900 Rose 1500.

 

“I play Swords of Revealing light stopping you for three turns. And I'll summon Wing dragon Guardian of the fortress I Attack 1400 Defense 1000 I”

 

“Fine I'll draw and end my turn.”

 

“I Play monster Reborn to get back summoned skull, plus I'll summon Ferril Imp (Not Sure about Spelling) I Attack 1200 Defense Can't Remember I and I play lack luster ritual sacrificing Summoned Skull and Ferril Imp to summon blck luster soldier. And I play spellbinding circle to decrease your monsters attack by 500. Noe BLS Attack her dark Necrofear, and Winged Dragon attack her life points directly.” Yugi 2900 Rose 0000.

 

“No, I lost?” Rose looked frightened, then screamed. When she stopped, her eyes were blank. “So Pharaoh, I was hoping I'd meet you.”

 

“What's going on?” Yami asked.

 

“Nothing, just Rose being mind controlled.” Rose replied, voice sounding far away.

 

“What? How can that be? We banished the Evil from Merik and he had the millenium rod.”

 

“I'm not using the millenium rod, but a more powerful millenium Item.” Rose smirked cruelly.

 

“More Powerful?” Yami asked, stunned. As far as he knew, all the millenium items had equal power.

 

“There were not seven millenium Items but twelve, the other five hold the power of all seven, the Millenium Bracelet, Millenium Earrings, Millenium Dagger, Millenium Locket, and . I hold the millenium Earrings and am about to own the other four.”

 

“Who owns them?” Yami asked, trying not to show fear. This was a powerful opponent.

 

“You will find out soon enough, but remember the name of your doom, Dazil.” When she finished Rose's eyes went back to normal, and she collapsed, trembleing.

 

 

That night the gang hung out at a restaurant, Johnny Corinos. Joey and Ceribi didn't find anyone to duel, so they were eagerly listening to Yugi and Arina talking about their duels while Joey was scarfing his angel hair pasta.

 

“So there are twelve millenium Items?” Ceribi asked, finguring her necklace. Yugi had told her about the millenium items on their way to Cairo.

 

“Yes, and I wonder who own them.” Yugi replied.

 

“I do,” Arina said softly, “at least one of them.”

 

“WHAT?” The rest of the group exclaimed.

 

“I have the millenium bracelet,” Arina continued, “I got it from my uncle….” She paused and took a breath, “Pegasus J. Crawford.”

 

“WHAT?!” Everyone but Duke exclaimed again.

 

“Yes, but only by Marriage, You see, My Parents were murdered...when I was young… so I had to live with my only Family. My Aunt Cecilia married Pegasus a few years before my parents died, but she died because of a strange disease. So I lived with Pegasus on Duelist Kingdom, and I hated it. All I did there was learn how to do business stuff, like I care about it. Though I don't think I had it as bad as Kaiba.” She replied, shivering at the thought.

 

“That's how we know each other,” Duke explained, “Because She helped Pegasus with Dungeon Dice Monsters. So I met her when I visited.”

 

“Yes, but when I found out why he held Duelist kingdom I ran away. I didn't care what the reason was, He shouldn't play with other peoples souls.” Arina looked at Yugi, “Allow me to appologize for his actions.”

 

She looked back at the rest of the group before continuing, “So I snuck away. For about a year I attended Sakura University. But when I heard that Pegasus was missing I knew I had to come back. Because It was my duty as his heir.” She looked at the floor, obviously showing she had no interesting in running a company.

 

“Why didn't you tell us earlier?” Yugi asked, a little hurt that she kept it from them.

 

“Because I was afraid how you would react,” Arina answered, still looking at the floor, “I knew of what Pegasus did to your grandfather, and the Kaiba brothers.”

 

“Don't worry,” Tea smiled, “You're our friend, and we'll always be there for you.”

 

“Yeah, You can't help who your family is,” Joey said, between mouthfuls of garlic bread.

 

Arina smiled, “Thanks everyone. I appreciate it”

 

Me: Okay that's done.

 

Jardina: So they finally know your OC's secret.
