I'm free. I sit here, the breeze blowing across my face, the smell of flowers in full bloom touching my senses.. I am truly free for once. No more lies, no more lost hopes. I am my own person now.

A new beginning. That's what they all told me..and I'll be damned if I let this chance pass. You know, I've never really stopped and watched the clouds, or admired how beautiful the outdoors are.

A year ago I probably wouldn't have admitted to even thinking any of that sappy crap. But now...things are different. I'm starting to see things again. It's like stepping out of that dark hole I lived in and seeing the world all over again. I love it. I love everything about this place. My new home.

My friends..the one person who never gave up on me. My friends should not fear me like they used too. And I know that now, they don't. I used to hate myself for what I did, the things I thought about doing, but that's all in the past.

I'm a new person.

Born into this world again it seems. And honestly, I wouldn't take back anything that happened. Not if it leads me down this path..Now my dreams ARE mine... I'm climbing a mountain that I always tried to go around.. And this time, I'm not coming down. I'm free.

And that's just how Ryou found the blonde haired Egyptian. Lost in the song blaring through his headphones, not a care in the world as he gazed at the setting sun.
