Chapter Summary: Jou is fed up with Seto not having time to spend with him, and his going over the edge…

Jou woke-up to a bright early morning, he looked beside, to see and empty bed… again, really he wasn't that surprised, he was kidding himself, comforting & thought to himself that if he wakes up, seto we'll be lying next to him.

Jou stepped on the carpeted rug, it was their anniversary, and seto was still, not, but Jou was surprised by the petal leaves that were in his path, he unconsciously followed them, it led him, to their bathroom, he was surprised to see seto, there but frowned when he was all suited up for work.

Seto took of Jou's Pj's , Jou stepped in frown in place, seto ignored it, and kissed Jou. He looked at him squarely in the face “you know I love you right?” he kissed him, again. “I'm sorry, I can't say I've got work to do” he kissed his nose. Jou didn't even nod, he just stayed in the bath stoically.

It was 12:00 midnight, and Jou was sitting in his bed, his arms folded he was waiting for seto again; this relationship was obviously not working for them, if the only thing seto does, is work?

I don't know what to do~

Jou thought to himself sadly. ` I love seto too much to leave him, that's why I'm hanging long enough, this is clearly un-healthy for me, but I can't last any longer, living like this I need to end this relationship before something I regret happens' with this in mind, he saw seto opening the entrance to their mansion.

Seto had to squint through the darkness overshadowing the parlor, to see a figure hunched over on the couch, that's Jou! `what's he doing up this late at night? I hope he doesn't wanna have one of his talks I've got work to do' he thought irritably.

Jou stood up, to see Kaiba just walk by him, he shouted for him to stop. “seto! What is wrong with you, didn't you even stop to say a simple “hi” or ask me why I'm up this late, watching if you'll ever come back!” Kaiba sighed and put his fingers to his temples, massaging them. “I don't have time for this now” he said in a clipped tone.

Jou saw red, he grabbed Kaiba's collar, “you WILL have time for this!” suddenly his voice got soft, “seto, you never have time for me, anymore, even mokuba” Seto looked confused. “what are you trying to say? Mutt?” Jou looked at him tears brimming at the edge of his eyes. “what I'm trying to say is that, I don't think this is working out for us, we need a break”

Jou was now crying, and seto had to hold the banister. He broke-down completely. He started crying himself. Jou came over to hug him, “I'm sorry Seto, but if you keep putting work, over our relationship, a break is not the only thing we'll need” Seto abruptly got up landing Jou on his butt “ I don't care just get out!”

“w-what!, seto you can't do that to me” Jou practically begged. He had no where to go! “ I said get out!” he said in a cold tone, menacing tone.

Jou shook his head. “no!” he held on to the couch, Seto glared at him, coldly and menacingly, he grabbed him by the waist, and pushed him out the door, jou was now pounding at the door, crying his poor little heart out.

~Ring ring ring goes the telephone
The lights are on but there's no one home
Tick tick tock it's a quarter to two
And I'm done
I'm hanging up on you ~
Jou walked to Seto's car, luckily the key was still in the ignition, he turned the key, he drove off to the only person who would ever help him, get through this, he rang the bell, twice when a girl with long auburn hair, and brown eyes. Serenity looked at him, wide-eyed, Jou hasn't visited her in ages, approximately 2yrs, since he was married to that bastard of a CEO. She sighed. “What do you want?” Jou just entered the warm and comfy apartment, and curled on the couch.

She sighed and petted his hair, like she used to do when he was distressed. “What happened jou? Tell me” Jou opened his mouth, and started crying again. “h-h-he pushed me out the door!” she gasped. That bastard! She now had this determination to kick his powerful ass, from here to Kaiba Corp. She stroked his hair, till he slept off.

2 Months later

It was a miserable 2 moths of Jou's life, the only thing he did; from morning to night was cry, because of one guy, that probably doesn't even care. He lived off hatred and anger, he barely ate, and that was definitely not like Jou! He became much thinner, his hair more wispy, than before, he still lived in his sister's house, for that 2 months, and he was over living his due. Jou was taught a painful lesson.

Love can conquer Pain

Love is more painful than Pain, but in the end

But with the results whether good or bad, Love is either comes out good or bad.

Jou was walking towards the park, to read a little, he walked past kaiba corp. he sighed, and empty copper eyes, just stared at the building hard, tears almost flowing down, he hastily wiped them off, and ran to the park, un-best-known to him Kaiba was just as regretful, for what he did, and was just looking down at him, from one of the Kaiba Corp. windows.
