Obelisk the torturer part 2

The rurouni: where was I?

Kaiba: something about me and Isis

Isis: And something about leaving a cliff hanger….

The rurouni : well then…

It was a night like any other for Kaiba soon Isis would be coming to go on their date. Kaiba was getting ready he had on the clothes from battle city and he also had a little golden trinket for Isis. Isis was wearing a red long dress with a spaghetti strap, curtsy of Kaiba when she dragged him on a shopping trip (oh the horror), she knew personally that Kaiba liked it because he was stunned when she had put it on for him.

Everything was going according to plan Isis would come to Kaiba corp. and Kaiba would take her on his blimp and propose to her, till he received the phone call that would possible change his life. He was in his office over looking domino when his phone rang. The man on the phone had a mysterious aura to him that made even Seto Kaiba a little afraid, but just a little. He knew Isis would be coming soon but yet the man told him to stay on the phone.

Isis on the other hand was awaiting in the limo a little too long and decided to go up in the building and get him herself. The guards saw her and soon let her pass cause she had come so often that they no longer cared about checking her and just decided that Kaiba might fire them if they ever stopped her to question her. She neared the office when she over heard Kaiba talking to someone.

The man on the phone soon started to ask about obelisk the tormentor. Kaiba then replied "It is a powerful card that I once held." Isis was outside the office overhearing what Kaiba had said, her fears in the back of her head took over her once she heard that, her mind began to question her heart. "Was Seto really only going out with me to get obelisk back?" said her fears to her heart. Kaiba became a little suspicious about the man. His thought wondered to how the man knew of the Egyptian god card Obelisk the tormentor. The man replied by saying "Are you suspicious about how I know Seto Kaiba?" Seto soon replied "Tell me what you know before I hang up on you!" Isis was sitting outside now becoming more curious and more worried. "Tell me Kaiba." Said the man on the phone "What if I could get you obelisk the tormentor in trade for Isis?" Kaiba began to ponder "Why would he do that." He muttered to himself "Is Obelisk the tormentor worth what Isis an I have built together?" Isis was outside his office thinking to herself "Please Seto hang up the phone, I know you would never do this." But then an evil presence entered her mind and began to take possession. The presence then began to fill her mind with thoughts of betrayal and sadness. The presence showed her images of Kaiba saying yes and showing him laugh at her as she pleaded to him not to do this with Obelisk in his hand. Kaiba was still wondering about it. He told the man "Yes I would…." Before he could finish his sentence, Isis soon stormed in with all the look of sadness in her eyes. She was beginning to cry, Kaiba looked in horror at her, he was speechless. Kaiba was going to reach her when she ran for the elevator, she reached it and got inside. She kept mumbling to herself "He never loved me he just wanted this card back." She then pulled out obelisk and mumbled "Was it worth it to keep you?" Kaiba then knew he had to tell her that he never finished what he was going to say so he ran down the stairs as fast as he could. Isis sat down in the elevator crying. How could she open herself to Kaiba and only in return, get heart broken? Isis soon reached the bottom floor and ran as fast as her legs could carry her. She knew that she had to leave domino and get away from it all.

Kaiba then reached the bottom floor and saw Isis running for the door. He knew he had to catch her but she was much faster then him. (believe it or not) Isis soon reached the outside and ran in the middle of the road hoping to avoid the traffic until a fast car was heading towards her. She mumbled to herself "Good bye Seto." Kaiba watched in fear as Isis just stood there as the car went at her…..

The rurouni: What was that presence that was invading Isis's mind and will Kaiba be able to save her before the car hits? Need atleast 2 reviews before I can start the next chapter =]
