God, the Grand(e): Hey kids and kido-ettes! What's hip-happening? Anyways, I am bored with nothing to do, so I have decided that *takes deep breath* I will start my SetoxJoey song fic! It is to "I kissed a Drunk Girl" (or guy in this case) by everyone's favorite band, SOMETHING CORPORATE!!! *screams*

Yami: Actually, I would much rather listen to dream street, or 5ive (five)

Marik: Um Britney is much better! Everyone knows all bubblegum pop is the best! ^__^

Bakura: Nope, sorry, I am a Mudvayne kind of guy.

Marik: Erm, is that some kind of potting soil? 0_o

Ryou: No, just a bad band! Bakura lies, he really likes Elvis.

Bakura: Shut it, you know that's you!

Ryou: Nope, I am more a Heather Alexander kind of guy

Marik: *cough* Girl

God: That you are Ryou, and that's what makes you great (e)!!!!

Gandalf: Yup, but anyways, on with a real point! Nope, God doesn't own Yu-Gi-Oh, Madvayne, Britney Spears, 5ive, or any other singers/songwriters mentioned. She also doesn't own Lord of the Rings, and most importantly, Something Corporate. Nope, she really doesn't own any thing.

God: Nope! But anyways on with the show!

I was bored that night, sitting all alone with nothing to do. My brother Mokuba was staying over at a friend's house and all my work was done for the day. I'd remembered overhearing some teens at school talking about a party on a Friday night, that Friday night.

.flashback.

"Dude, are you going to Duke's keggar?" A dark haired junior asked his friend.

"Dude, I wouldn't miss it for the world. What time's it at?" The red head asked back.

"1311 North Valae Street, 8:00!"

"Dude!"

"Dude!"

I was also asked by a short, multicolored haired boy named Yugi to go. I'd told him it was a total waste of time of course, and no body with a real life would ever be seen there. I guess I died then, because I showed up.

I drove up in my sleek black Cadillac to the two story mint-colored home. I could hear the music blaring from my car half a block away. There were tons of kids there, looking as if almost a whole high school had been unleashed upon his house. They were all dressed to impress, the stupid girls in their minis and trampy tight tops and platforms. They all looked like complete clowns with how much makeup they had on. Then there were their Mack daddies or so called 'boyfriends' looking all smug like they were lucky or something. Poor stupid morons, they obviously didn't know their girls where total trash.

I rolled my dark green eyes and walked thought the open door only to find more crack whores shaking their asses like the guys even gave a fuck. 'Who cares?' I thought as I went to look for someone I knew.

There where Yugi, Yami, Tea, Ryou, and Bakura sitting around in the back family room watching Tea, and Yami play video games, and talking. I stood in the doorway, waiting for them to regard my presence. Yugi turned his head to the doorway from the maroon sofa he was sitting on.

"Hey Kaiba!" Yugi chirped. 'Why did I come?' I questioned myself mentally. I nodded and hesitantly sat next to him. Ryou was sitting on Bakura's lap in the corner on a black bean bag. Ryou looked to be getting phrases purred in his ear. At least those two seemed to be having fun.

"So where's your pathetic friend Wheeler?" I asked curiously,

"OH, he went with Tristan to go get more to drink." Yugi said.

"Not that he needs it, he's way too drunk already." Tea mumbled.

:Heya Guys! Whatcha all singin and bringin?" Joey exclaimed as he tripped his way in the room.

"Erm, Joey, don't you think you've had a bit much?" Ryou said nicely, pointing to the plastic cup in Joey's unstable hand.

"No no no no no!" He repeated, "this is the good stuff!" He chortled, gulping the last drink. He then attempted to sit down, which looked more like he fell, what do you know, next to me.

"Well isn't that nice mutt? You reek of alcohol." I sneered.

"Hey Kaibs, cut it!" He said, giggling. "Let's be friends!" I rolled my eyes. For a drunken blonde, he was still as perfect as ever. He looked at me with glazed puppy-like eyes.

"We should all play a game!" He said happily, trying to stand up, but ending up falling in my lap.

"Watch it puppy." I snap. "

I went to her house and everybody there was gone

Her little cousin just passed out on the lawn

We walked to my car

And she mouthed 'Is Everything ok?'

Leaned in slowly so now I can say

Oh snappy-snappy, I like um like that!" He says, sniggering. I wish that was what he'd meant but it was only obvious the poor kid had no idea of the words coming out of his mouth.

He tried to stand up once more and successfully walked a couple steps then ended up on Yugi.

"Heya buddy, what are ya doing up there? Your spinning in circles!" He said, laughing.

"Um, Joey, I think it might be time for you to go home." Yugi said, twiddling with his fingers.

"Oh but Yuuuuuugggiii I am having a great time! Everyone's having soo much fun!" He chirped.

"I'll walk him home Yugi." Yami said.

"Don't be serious, I am coming too." Yugi said.

"No, Yugi, stay and have fun." Yami replied back, taking his other half's hand. He leaned in for a quick kiss and helped Joey up.

"Come on Joey, let's get you home." Yami said. Joey tried to stand once more, but once again fell.

"I am turning into jello!" He giggled.

"I'll drive him home." I said. Why did I ever say that? Those words ruined me.

"Oh ok, are you sure Seto?" Yami asked, looking at me curiously.

"What, would you like to walk him or something?" I hissed. He shook his head.

"No, it's just unusual, that's all." He said, helping Joey up once again.

"Oh, I get to ride home with Seto, boy oh boy did I ever score the jackpot!" The blonde said, laughing again.

"Come on fool." I said, as I took his arm and guided him out of the house.

"Hey Seto, where are we going again? Mexico?" He asked, scratching his head. I just shook my head and helped him in the passenger's seat.

"Wow Kaiba, cool ride!" He exclaimed, looking at me with fabricated affection in his eyes. He looked great, I just wanted to run my hands through that dirty blonde hair and take in his scent. I starred at him for a few minutes biting my lip. He just grinned along like a mad idiot.

"So are we going to go?" He asked, hyper.

I pulled away cause you see I didn't think it would be right

And she said 'No, No, No, I know that everything's going to be just fine

"Yeah." I said as I shook myself back to consciousness and started up the car. He blabbed on about random things for the whole ten minute drive. Eventually, I pulled up to his one story home.

"Thank you, Kaiba, for what ever you did. By the way, you looked hot tonight." He chirped, his eyes half laden.

I got out and helped him up to the door.

"No one's home." He said.

"Oh, do you have a way in?" I asked.

"Yeah.." He said as he opened the wooden door.

"Goodnight then." I said, as I walked down the pathway to my car.

"Wait Seto." He exclaimed as he ran after me. I was about to open up the car door.

"Is everything ok?" He asked, inching closer, starring in my eyes. I gulped, and slowly nodded. He put his arms around me and smiled. Then he leaned in for a kiss.

"No, Joey, let's save this for some other time." I said quietly. He looked up at me again, his soft blonde hair blowing in the May wind. He smiled again.

"Seto, everything will be just fine." He said giggling, pulling me closer again. Then he softly pressed his lips against mine in a kiss. A drunken kiss that meant absolutely nothing. He licked his way across my lips, and I couldn't resist not to open. I moaned in pleasure, as did he. His tongue explored my mouth, as mine did to he.

When he pulled away, he was still grinning. His eyes had been open the whole time.

"I love you Seto!" He said, waving and stumbled back to his house.

"You don't mean that." I whispered to no one in particular. I climbed in my car and drove home, sitting in deep thought.

My worst fears came true, he remembered nothing of that night. Not a trace. I wish he remembered, wish he knew the truth. I wish I could tell him how I've yearned for his love, even more so after that day. All I can do though is nothing. He has a girlfriend, Mai. He doesn't want me, he doesn't need me. That night meant nothing, just another day to him. It meant everything to me, to finally be close to him, after I'd longed for him since the first time I saw him. I regret that day, I wish I'd never laid eyes on Joey Wheeler's beautiful soul.

After all it could have been anybody else kissing him and he would not have known the difference.
