I'LL NEVER BREAK YOUR HEART

ML: My first Yu-Gi-Oh story! Finally, looks like my horizons are broadened!

Yugi: Great. Now can you tell us the plot line?

ML: Well, seeing the lack of Yugi/Téa stories, here's one for the site! Anyway, the story begins with a Seto/Téa coupling…

(Yugi turns into Yami and goes nuts!)

Yami: Excuse me?

ML: Then, Seto messes up!

Téa: That's much better!

ML: Well, I don't want my muses to kill me before I actually write the story! Anyway, I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh, so don't sue.

I also don't own the song I'll Never Break Your Heart, since that's owned by Jive Records and the BSB. I only own Helen and Erin. There. ROLL IT!

It was just another night in Domino City. In the Gardner home, Téa was preparing for her date. It was with none other than the CEO of Kaiba corp., Seto. Of course, Seto had her eye on her, but little did she know her date was about to reach a halt. As soon as she was finishing putting the finishing touches on her makeup and clothes, she heard the phone in her bedroom ring. She picked it up.

Téa: Hello?

Seto: Hey Téa. It's me. Listen, about our date, I'm afraid I'll have to postpone. Something came up at the company.

Téa: Really? What is it?

Seto: I prefer not to talk about it. We'll go out another time?

Téa: Uh… sure.

Seto: Ok. See ya!

Téa: Sure… see ya.

Both parties hung up, and Téa became really suspicious. Why would Seto want to postpone a date because of work? It was strange. However, in the last couple of weeks, Seto had been acting really weird lately. She decided to call Kaiba corp. She got the receptionist when she called. The two talked about what was going on.

Téa: Is Seto in his office?

Receptionist: Mr. Kaiba isn't in his office.

Téa: Are you sure? He said something came up.

Receptionist: Maybe he's lying.

Téa: He wouldn't.

Receptionist: He might. Check everywhere he might be.

Téa: Ok. Thanks.

Receptionist: Sure. Bye.

The two hung up, and Téa was now REALLY suspicious. She decided to go to the restaurant that they were supposed to go to. When she went in, she heard a familiar laugh. Sure enough, sitting in one of the booths, was Seto Kaiba, and with another girl, whose name was Helen! The receptionist's prediction was right. With storm clouds in her eyes, Téa came to Seto's booth, and dragged Seto to the front of the restaurant. She yelled, "I can't believe you, Seto. Of all the things you did, you had to go this low!" Seto said, "C'mon, baby. It was an accident." Téa said, "Look, mister. You cheated on me. Is that an accident?" Seto said, "No, but…" Téa said, "No buts, mister. We're through." Seto said, "But, Téa…" He put his hand on her, and Seto got slapped for his troubles. Téa ran out of the restaurant in tears. She ran not back to her place, but to Yugi's place.

Inside, Yugi, Tristan, Joey, Mai, Bakura and Grandpa were watching Joey and Yugi go at it again. Yugi said, "Joey, you're getting good." Joey replied back, "Thanks Yug., you know, without the power of your yami, you're not that bad. But with him, you're really exceptional." Yugi, blushing, said, "Shuddup." Joey had won his 5th duel, while Yugi already won 5. Mai asked, "Don't you guys ever have enough?" Tristan said, "When those guys get going at it, they sure know how to duel." Meanwhile, the door opened, and a blur of yellow, pink and brown ran past Yugi, and into his room. The door locked, and inside, was the sound of a girl crying. Joey said, "Hey guys, was it just me, or was that Téa with tears in her eyes running into Yugi's room?"

Yugi felt a bit of hope. Ever since Seto and Téa's relationship began, he had been hoping for something to happen. He heard of Seto's womanizing from a friend, Erin, and when he saw Téa come into his room, he knew the rumors were true. He went upstairs to his room, and knocked on the door.

"Hey Téa, it's me." Yugi said. Téa, in choked sobs, said, "Yugi?" He said, "Hey, open the door." Téa said, "You don't understand." Yugi said, "Well, I need you to tell me what's wrong!" Téa replied back, "Nothing is wrong." Yugi asked, "Are you sure, 'cause minutes ago, I heard you crying when you came into my house!" She opened the door, and let Yugi in. She then told him everything. As Téa told him everything about what happened, Yugi's blood began to boil, and he had a face that said it all. The emotions that went through his heart were anger and regret. Anger at Seto for treating Téa the way he treated her, and regret that Téa had to go through all this. He said, "Well, do you want to stay here longer? I'll appreciate it." She said, "No thanks. I'll go home in a few minutes. Thanks for everything." Just by coincidence, a particular song came on. One that described Téa's situation right now.

Baby…

I know you're hurting

Right now you feel like you could never love again

Now all I ask

Is for a chance

To prove that I love you…

"My favorite song." Thought Téa. Yugi didn't know why he asked this, but he decided to ask anyway. "May have I this dance?" Téa, shocked, said, "uh, sure." Yugi took her into his arms, and the two danced.

From the first day

That I saw your smiling face

Honey I knew that we would be

Together forever…

Ooh, when I asked you out

You said no, but I found out

Darling that you'd been hurt

You felt like you never love again…

I deserve a try honey, just once

Give me a chance and I'll prove this all wrong

You walked in you were so quick to judge

But honey he's nothing like me

I'll never break your heart

I'll never make you cry

I rather die, than live without you

I'll give you all of me

Honey that's no lie

I'll never break your heart

I'll never make you cry

I rather die, than live without you

I'll give you all of me

Honey that's no lie

As I walked, by you

Will you get to know me

A little more better

Girl, that's the way love goes

And I know you're afraid

To let your feelings show

And I understand

Girl it's time to let go…

I deserve a try honey, just once

Give me a chance and I'll prove this all wrong

You walked in you were so quick to judge

But honey he's nothing like me

Darling, why can't you see?

Yugi then sang the chorus to Téa, just so he could make the promise to her, for all time that he would never treat her the way Seto treated her.

I'll never break your heart

I'll never make you cry

I rather die, than live without you

I'll give you all of me

Honey that's no lie

I'll never break your heart

I'll never make you cry

I rather die, than live without you

I'll give you all of me

Honey that's no lie

I'll never break your heart

No way (no way)

No how

I'll make you cry

Oh, need me

Honey no way

I'll do you right (no how)

I say no how…

I'll never break your heart

I'll never make you cry

I rather die, than live without you

I'll give you all of me

Honey that's no lie

I'll never break your heart

I'll never make you cry

I rather die, than live without you

I'll give you all of me

Honey that's no lie

After the song faded out, Yugi disentangled from Téa's embrace and turned off the radio. He then said, "Well, Téa, I hope you'll get over that creep Kaiba." Téa said, "It won't be a loss. Besides, his loss was your gain." The two sat on his bed, and Yugi said, "My gain? You mean…" Téa said, "That's right. you're mine. If you let me be yours." Yugi said, "Sure. I've been dreaming of you since the year began." Téa said, "Really? I hope you don't treat me the same way Seto treated me." Yugi said, "He won't." The two kissed, and after that, Téa walked out. As soon as she closed the door, Yugi thought, "This will be the beginning of a beautiful relationship." Elsewhere, Téa was thinking the same thing.
