I Never Knew


As the transformation finished, Yami looked at himself, he looked almost the same, only he was back in his, old clothing, the clothing he wore in Egypt when he was Pharaoh.

His crown (Which is more like a tiara then a crown) sat on his forehead, and slid under his hair perfectly, the golden eye seemed to glow, his gold neck piece was firmly in place, the sennen eye, was sew on his black shirt, the shirt went down to his knees, (kinda like an apron), held with a golden belt, was lined with gold coloured stitches, and what looked to be gold arrows, his purple cape, which went down to his ankles, moved with the slight breeze, was fasten to the neck piece, but what he liked most of all was his pants, white loose and baggie, unlike the ones he had on before, his pants were tucked in to his shoes, finally his gold bracelets appeared around his wrists and around his upper arms. He could sense Yugi coming, Yami held up the sword and placed it over the Millennium puzzle, blade pointing downward, to any normal person it looked like Yami was gunna drive the sword into the sennen eye of the puzzle, the puzzle was his prison it had been for over 5000 years, he wanted to make sure he never went back into that prison again, he slowly pushed the tip of the sword down, toward the puzzle, but just as the sword touched the sennen eye something in side his snapped, he couldn't do it, he couldn't destroy the puzzle.

"YAMI!!!!" Yugi screamed as he ran through the woods, trying to find the spirit, but his Millennium Puzzle, seemed to almost die, Yugi felt like someone had ripped is heart out, almost like someone ripped half of his soul out, darkness was all he could feel inside him, he had to find Yami, and soon.

Yami looked up at Alexandria, she was smiling, happy for the fact he was happy he guess, suddenly Yami had this strange feeling come over him, like someone ripped his very soul out of him that kinda of feeling made him shiver, but he quickly shook it off, "Come on, lets get out of here and out of the rain, Alexandria" Yami said with an almost ordering like tone in him voice as a scabbard appeared around his waist, it had the same Egyptian marking, Yami wished he knew what they said, since he still had very little of his memories he didn't remember what they were, to Yami's surprise Alexandria obey and followed him, as he walk out of the woods, to the other side of the park.

Yugi was still running, and the rain seemed to come down harder and harder, Yugi finally had to stop, he was soaked to the bone, and he was freezing his tri-coloured spiky hair hung limply, it drooped down and matted to his head probably because of the amount of water, he felt kinda sick, but he managed to catch is breath.

Yami had found a nice alleyway, he was gunna head to the Turtle Game Shop, but when he saw a flash of lightening he decided against that, though he was worried about little Yugi, out in the woods, alone, and in the cold pouring rain like this, but Yami knew Yugi would make him go back inside that stupid puzzle, never to be free.

Alexandria landed on the ground behind her Master, // Your worried about the young one, aren't you, Master? // She wanted to tell him to forget about the child, but she knew not to, fore he never would forget about Yugi.

'Master' eh? Yami liked that, Yugi would never by call him such a name, but still Yugi was someone he cared about, // Yes I do worry, it's not safe in the woods during a storm like this. // 'Maybe I should just go see if he's alright…NO! What am I thinking I'll have to go back inside that prison' Yami thought, he knew Alexandria could read his mind, so he really wasn't thinking to himself.

Yugi started to run again, after was seemed like hours, he slowed down, what he saw made him look away in disgust he couldn't believe his eyes, his mind screamed 'NO!! It can't be, it's not true, it just can't be' Yugi felt his knees get weak, the sight he was worst then his worst nightmare it was…
