'The Sword of the Dead belonged to an Egyptian wonderer, who was banish from Egypt for trying to kill the Pharaoh with his sword, the wonderer would travel to distance cities killing anyone who got in his way, he ventured all the way to Japan where he was murdered, stabbed to death with his own sword.' "Whoa…" Joey said as he turned the page of his history book.

Joey, Tristan, and Ryou were sitting in Joey's living room waiting for Yugi and Tea to show up so they could study for the test tomorrow, but they got tried of waiting and started reading Joeys history book.

'Legend states that the Angel of Death guards the Sword waiting for someone to pull the sword for it's resting place, at the foot of the Tree of the Dead…'

"Man I wonder what's taking Yugi and Tea so long to get here!" the brown haired teen stated as he took Joey's history book and tossed it across the den.

"Maybe they decided to go to Yugi's house for the night." Joey laughed.

//Ryou?// A cold, evil voice Ryou had come to know to well, echoed in the walls of his mind.

\\What do you want, Yami?\\ Ryou shot, half expecting to be hit with some sort of dark magic.

//Well… I think Yugi might be in trouble.// Bakura said with a smirk.

\\W… what do you mean?\\ Ryou stuttered, hope he heard his Yami wrong.

//I mean I can no longer sense the Millennium Puzzle or that stupid Pharaoh, mean either something has happened to Yugi or someone has taken the Millennium Puzzle, the last place I sensed them was the woods, in the park, I suggest we go check it out.// Bakura growled, how was he supposed to steal the Millennium Puzzle and take over the world if something happened to it?

"Um… you guys I think something might have happened to them, maybe we should go look for them." Ryou suggested earning a strange look from Joey and Tristan.

"What makes you so sure of that?" A still very confused Joey asked.

"Well I'm not sure, I just have this really bad feeling." Ryou wasn't about to tell them about Bakura or the powers of the Millennium Puzzle or anything of the sort, the less they knew the better.

The walk out of the woods was a long one for Yugi, his face was streaked tears, clutching Yami's half of the Millennium Puzzle in his hand, Yugi didn't want to but he had to face the facts… Yami was gone.

Yugi sat down on the park swings, raising his head he looked into the rain, the thick grey clouds matched Yugi's mood, his tears ran down his face and soaked his blue shirt, which was already wet from the rain.

The icy rain stung his eye, he wanted to look away but he couldn't, nor could he not help thinking that maybe, just maybe the heavens were crying for him.

A strange feeling came over Yugi, the feeling like someone was watching him, Yugi looked around, but he was alone in the park, he notice far away in the downtown Domino it had stopped raining, even though he was alone, Yugi still felt some one was watching him.

Yami sat in the near by tree watching Yugi on the swing, he had a strange desire to kill Yugi, but hurting Yugi in anyway was in every way out of the question, could never hurt Yugi after all he had been through in his life, being beaten up by bullies all his life, never knowing who his parents were, and if he didn't he never talked about them.

No matter how much he hated Yugi, he could never hurt him… could he?
