Wow! ~Tear~ I never thought that people even really read the author notes, 1 do, but I though most people just skipped them but I was pleasantly surprised! All the reviews I got totally uplifted my spirits! Huza! Thank you so much for making me feel better about myself and my writing I sincerely needed some inspiration and what's better than knowing that people actually care what I have to say! Anyway I hope you like chapter 10 to "I Never Knew" ENJOY! ! !

Ryou couldn't fall asleep once they arrived at Seto's country home. Ryou at first was really nervous considering the fact that he thought they were going to the mansion and they end up in the country. But Seto was kind enough to explain the situation to him that calmed him considerably . . . but he still couldn't fall asleep. A gentle knock on the door brought him back to reality as he opened the door although knowing whom it was. "Can't sleep?" Seto asked softly coming inside.

Ryou shrugged "No, it's funny though I'm probably in the safest place and yet I still cant relax." Ryou said, "I worried what Yami will do.. ." Ryou said trailing off "Do you think Yugi's in danger?" Seto asked

"As, as strange as it sounds Yami does truly care about Yugi and would never go as far as to hurt him... but anyone else he has no reserves against... I'm mainly worried about Bakura right now." Ryou said hugging his knees to his chest

"Bakura's capable of taking care of himself you shouldn't worry about him." Seto said hoping to reassure Ryou that everything would be okay.

"He might be able to take care of himself but Yami hates Bakura and could banish him without anyone having a second thought except for maybe Marik and Malik but even then all Bakura has to do is slip up once and Yami can easily take him away from me...Bakura doesn't even know what has been happening to me." Ryou said softly

"He needs to know Ryou, just like Yugi needs to know.. .You can't just let this continue while the ones who deserve to know are oblivious to all the suffering you've been put through...all for them." Seto sighed, "You haven't said anything because you wanted to protect them didn't you?" Seto asked

"Of course. . . Bakura is the other half of my soul, how could I not want to protect him? And Yugi...I know Yami wont hurt him but if I told him what Yami had become I'm afraid it would destroy him." Ryou felt the familiar tears stinging the back of his eyes.

"It's not fair... why did he have to change? Why did he have to hurt me?" Ryou held back his tears once again.

Seto sighed and pulled him into a loving embrace. "Please Ryou, don't hold back you don't need to be so brave...relax, cry, scream, do what you need to feel better...I'm here for you and I'm not going anywhere." Seto said softly in Ryou's ear.

Ryou broke down in Seto's arms and began to cry as hard as he ever had before in his life letting out all the pent up frustration, anger, pain, and regret all at once holding onto Seto tightly as he let everything out onto Seto's shoulder.

Bakura stopped dead in his tracks as tears began to fall from his face. Marik looked at him curiously and wide-eyed when he noticed the tears.

"Bakura? Are you okay?" He asked softly "Why are you crying?" He asked concerned "I...I don't know." Bakura said as he tried to wipe them away but they carne still "I... can't stop them." Bakura said as he covered his face with his hands. "S-something's wrong, with Ryou…I think." Bakura said not bothering with trying to stop them anymore "Something is definitely wrong. . ." Bakura said trailing off

Marik wiped away the tears that came still through Bakura eyes "Should we go back?" He asked not sure.

"I am.. .you don't have to waste this entire trip on my account." Bakura said turning around to go back to the hotel.

"I'll go with you." Marik said becoming concerned. "What could have upset Ryou so much though that his emotions are effecting you?" Marik asked

"I don't know, that's why I'm going home right now... whatever it is I plan to put a stop to it...I won't let anyone hurt him." Bakura said

Marik smiled he had a knack for acting like he didn't care about Ryou when in fact he wouldn't let anyone hurt him, he acted like a father to Ryou considering Ryou's real father was never around it was reasonable for Bakura to unconsciously pick up the role of a father figure. Marik sighed they had only spent a few days in Egypt and now they had to take a ten-hour trip back

to Japan. 'Something better be wrong' he though kind of angrily he wanted to get back in touch with his home, but he couldn't let Bakura go insane and kill someone, because no one else would stop him.. .or help him Marik thought silently as they began to gather their things together.

Ryou had cried himself to sleep on Seto's shoulder who didn't mind at all, as he tucked him in bed and watched him silently sleep in the moonlight of the room. He took a seat at the nearby desk and began to write a letter to Mokuba telling him where he was. He looked up from the letter every so often to make sure Ryou was sleeping soundly, which he was thankfully. Seto sighed sadly to himself why did the most innocent of people seem to suffer the most in this world? Ryou didn't deserve this kind of torment and if was being punished what did he ever do to deserve this? Yami had no excuse for this kind of behavior, and would pay dearly for what he had done to him. Seto didn't care if he had been possessed by the devil himself it was Yami's body that violated Ryou in such a horrible way and he was going to make sure that he never touched Ryou ever again. However, Seto still had bits and pieces of the story and he needed to know more about what was going on. Ryou's voice broke him from his thoughts.

"You don't have to stay with me…I think I'll be fine now." Ryou said smiling weakly

"I want to though." Seto said sitting on the bed next to the young boy. "I wanted to ask you something Ryou…but if it's to hard you don't have to." Seto quickly added.

"What is it?" Ryou asked curiously he thought he had told Seto practically everything.

"How…how did all of this start? What happened the first time…you never explained anything to me, please tell me what has happened." Seto said.

Ryou bit his lower lip and looked very uncomfortable suddenly, Seto quickly put his arms around him.

"It's okay…you don't have to say anything, I'm sorry I even asked for such a thing." Seto said feeling horrible for bringing up such a memory.

"N-no…it's okay and a reasonable question…I'll answer but be patient with me okay?" Ryou asked not knowing how his mind would react to remembering all the things that happened to him, he was probably in store for some pretty disturbing flashbacks. Ryou cleared his throat as he began

"I…I was washing the dishes and he came over to my house around 10:30" Ryou paused for a moment ~'Yami what brings you here…at this hour nonetheless. Ryou said glancing at his clock, which read 10:30'~ Ryou remembered. "He just blurted out the fact that Yugi was in love me…which I never knew he was until Yami had told me that Yugi loved me" Ryou explained softly.

"That explains the whole Yugi outburst earlier." Seto said mainly to himself as he allowed Ryou to continue.

"He started to yell at me…~'Did you know that I loved him? And the he rejected me because he loves you?' Yami asked heatedly~…Ryou cringed when Yami's voice boomed in his head. "I yelled back…he didn't like that." Ryou voice trembled slightly as he talked but he continued and Seto didn't stop him. "He slapped me when I started to yell at him, told me it was all my fault that Yugi didn't love him instead of me…pressed me up against the nearby wall…~'Ryou turned his face away from Yami and could smell the alcohol still on Yami's breath; he felt Yami's fingers upon his chest as he grabbed the ring and yanked it loose from Ryou's neck tossing it to the other side of the room'~…"he was drunk and I was so scared…he took away my ring and told me if I called to Bakura he would banish him." Ryou paused shaking slightly "He punched me then forced me into a kiss, I pulled away though telling him no as I tried to get my ring, but he caught me and told me what he would do to Bakura if I tried anything. He threw me on the floor and began to beat me until all I could do was cry uncontrollably…broke one of my wrists then he…threw me on the couch." Ryou hung his head as tears began to fall from his face as he forced himself to finish the rest. "He took of my clothes ~Onegai Yami…don't, please god don't!" Ryou said crying uncontrollably~ and proceeded to put me through the most painful experience I have ever endured in my life." Ryou stopped upon remembering when Yami had took that dreadful step to taking away his innocence. ~ Yami scoffed as he pulled his fingers out of Ryou and crushed his lips against Ryou's and slipped his tongue past Ryou's lips and tasted every inch of his mouth and thrust himself inside Ryou fully in one thrust as Ryou screamed into the kiss.~

Seto swallowed knowing how difficult it was for Ryou to remember all this "Was that the only time? Cause you said he was drunk and…" Seto said hoping it was just the alcohol or some type of influence encouraging Yami when he did this thing to him.

"No…the second time he was well and sober, in every way. I wish he had been drunk all the other times at least that way I would have a reason for all this." Ryou began to sob into his hands.

Seto tried to embrace him but Ryou pulled away from him not wanting to be touched in any way. Ryou felt dirty, soiled as he continued to cry.

"He calls me a disgusting whore all the time…that I've polluted the light and I deserve everything he does to me…" Ryou feel to his knees and began to sob as Seto approached him to comfort him but Ryou crawled away from him. "That's why I said those horrible things to Yugi…because if maybe I had known about his love I could have stopped all this…but I never knew." Ryou let out a chocked sob. "I am disgusting…" Ryou said trailing off.

"Nani!?" Seto outburst causing Ryou to wince and Seto calmed down so not to frighten Ryou anymore, it was obvious how much Ryou was suffering at the moment. "You are not Ryou, he says that to reduce you to nothing." Seto said

"And it's worked! Look at me! I am nothing!" Ryou yelled although his eyes were downcast as if he was telling himself these things.

Seto grabbed Ryou by the shoulders forcing Ryou to look him in the eye. "No you are not! You are beautiful Ryou…and you are everything…if not to anyone else than to me! You are everything to me at least!" Seto said embracing Ryou strongly.

Ryou stayed limp in Seto's arms not sure of what to do or say as he pulled away still not wanting to be touched as he crawled into a corner and looked at him sadly.

"Do I have to survive you too? Because honestly I don't think I have the strength…" Ryou said turning his face away from Seto. "Please don't look at me like that, and don't touch me please…you're so gentle and it burns almost." Ryou said as he hugged himself and retreated into a tighter ball.

Seto looked at him his eyes full of pity and want…want to help the boy in front of him who was in such a venerable position. When Yugi hugged him, it not only hurt him physically it hurt him mentally as well the only physical contact he had been receiving recently has put him through only pain. Now his mind has made it seem like all physical contact hurt some how.

"I…I only want to help you Ryou." Seto said in a defeated tone

"Then please…just go away…I'm sorry but I can't take this…not now I cant." Ryou said miserably as he saw out of the corner of his eye his only savior leave him.

Seto walked down the hall slowly as sadness overwhelmed his entire being…the rage. Yami would pay for this ignominy! Moreover, he would pay tonight! Seto swore as he quickly dresses and left not willing to allow Yami to get away with causing Ryou anymore suffering.

Huza! Thanks to many 'o' reviews, you got an extra long chappie! In addition, I have already started the next! Expect some cool fighting and angsty scene tell me how much longer you want Yami to live or if you want him to stay alive (not sure what to do with him yet ^_~) But he will not die in the next chapter for sure but anyway I hope you'll review for me and give me even more inspiration!
