Ryou looked down on the floor miserably where Yami had thrown him, he didn't listen to the horrible things Yami said he would do to him because in all truth he didn't care. Yami grabbed his hair roughly bringing the youth's face to his own as he snarled at him.

"What the hell were you thinking?! Telling Seto! What the fuck is wrong with you!" Yami bellowed at Ryou although he didn't expect or want an answer. "You miserable little whore, I should have known you'd open your mouth to someone, you'd probably open it to anyone." He spat disgusted at Ryou who shrunk slightly. "Take off your damn clothes." He said quickly as he let Ryou's hair go as he slumped to the floor.

"…Yami…" Ryou said trailing off a little.

"What? Are you going to beg me not to? When will you learn that, that doesn't work on me?" Yami said irritated.

"That's not what I was going to ask…" Ryou said removing his shirt as he began to unbuckle his pants.

Yami raised an eyebrow at Ryou; he was actually doing what he was told for once as Yami approached him stopping his hands and pulled Ryou into a forceful kiss. He was even more surprised that Ryou didn't fight him when he did this; he easily slipped his tongue into Ryou's mouth intertwining it with Ryou's as he pulled away slightly.

"Why aren't you fighting back?" Yami asked curiously

"…I'm tired…" Ryou said not bothering to move or pull away from Yami, he didn't care anymore. "I can't fight you anymore, it's not worth my energy." Ryou said as he took a deep breath.

Yami smiled at him coyly "What is it that you wanted to ask then?" Yami said.

"A favor…" Ryou said trailing off "I'm sure you'd have no problem doing it for me either…" he said swallowing a bit nervously.

"What do I get in return?" Yami asked

"Anything…everything…I don't care anymore." Ryou said bitterly.

"And what do you want?" Yami asked

"When you are finished with me all I want is for you to kill me…" Ryou said pulling away so he could look Yami straight in the eye to show he was serious. "I'll write it down on paper if you want, that I wanted you to put an end to my miserable existence…that's all…I want to rest." Ryou said holding himself

"You can't be serious." Yami said.

"Isn't this what you wanted!?" Ryou screamed, "You wanted me to hate myself to think that I was nothing but I whore, well you've won! I am nothing! I'll do whatever you want for as long as you want just at the end of it all, please kill me…isn't that what you've wanted to hear all this time. That I belong completely to you? Just an object to do with as you please, well here I am! Take me for all I'm worth just do away with me once you're finished…that's all I ask." Ryou said tears falling from his face as he looked up at Yami with pleading eyes.

"I never wanted you dead…" Yami said a low growl coming from his throat as he spoke.

"I don't understand you! I am giving you the opportunity to do whatever you please and get away with it! What the hell is wrong with you?" Ryou said tears falling form his eyes. He thought that this is what Yami wanted now he acted as if he…cared, which in Ryou's mind was next to impossible.

"Killing you is out of the question…I won't." Yami said firmly

"Why are you so selfish? Why couldn't you just leave me alone…accept what life had handed you and let me live in peace." Ryou swallowed falling to his knees. "You have ruined my life, and yours is now ruined as well since just about everyone knows…it's only a matter of time until they tell Yugi himself, how do you think he'll take the news?" Ryou asked sounding slightly arrogant as he did so.

Yami hadn't considered Yugi yet; his Hikari hadn't crossed his mind. Moreover, he was there no doubt they had told him by now. Yami closed his eyes shaking his head silently as he clenched his fists wanting to hurt Ryou so badly but couldn't bring himself to do it for some reason; he never wanted Yugi to know.

"What?" Yugi said in disbelief

"I know you don't want to do it Yugi but you have too…" Seto said trailing off

"It's the only way, you wanted to help Ryou didn't you? This is the only way we can stop him." Marik added

"But…I can't just smash the puzzle! He may be able to change, maybe he doesn't mean any of this at all!" Yugi said clutching the artifact in his hands.

"Afraid not Yugi, he was dead serious and fully aware of his actions every time he hurt Ryou." Bakura said

"But even so he's a part of my soul, I feel incomplete without him." Yugi said holding the puzzle tighter in his grasp

Seto looked to Bakura and Marik who sighed slightly as Marik went to him taking his hands in his own.

"We know that Yugi…but he's dangerous, you and Yami banished Bakura to the shadow realm because he was dangerous as well. Now it's your turn to make a sacrifice for the safety of others." Marik said looking him in the eyes.

"No one knows better than me on how hard this will be for you Yugi but it does get better with time, you learn to fill your life with different thing's you won't notice the void after a while. Yes it will be hard but it needs to be done." Bakura said remembering how his Hikari felt when they were separated.

"I don't want to hurt him though…" Yugi said taking his puzzle off from around his neck and looking at Seto handing it to him. "You do it." He said simply as he braced himself as if expecting a blow.

Seto smashed the puzzle against the fireplace as Yugi winced at the sound and the fact of his partner being practically ripped from him in an instant.

Yami suddenly let out a deafening scream a she disappeared from Ryou's sight, it all happening so fast making him think he imagined the whole thing entirely until he knew he wasn't hallucinating did he break down into tears. He had been through so much as he crawled up to his room collapsing on the bed looking about the mess of what Yami had done to it previously that week. Everything thrown about as if it was all nothing…just as he felt, he still felt useless, as if he was trash and didn't deserve to live.

Seto gathered the broken pieces placing them inside a small box and handing them to Yugi.

"Maybe after some time…you can reassemble it but it will not be any time soon." Seto sighed. "I'll go check on Ryou." He said heading upstairs.

Seto became increasingly worried when Ryou wasn't in his room or in the bathroom; he checked the other rooms as quickly as he could calling his name but not finding him anywhere. He ran back to Ryou's room and noticed the window was open.

"No…" Seto said as he ran downstairs ignoring Bakura, Marik's, and Yugi's questions as he jumped on his motorcycle outside the mansion and sped off toward Ryou's house praying he was okay and that, that was where he was.

Ryou had stumbled into the bathroom looking at himself disgusted.

"You were right at least at one point Yami…I don't deserve to be a Hikari, but I can't be anything or anyone else! This is what I am!" He sobbed falling to his knees unable to look at himself anymore.

"Since you wouldn't kill me…I will." Ryou said grabbing the bottle of aspirin from the medicine cabinet, it wasn't that he wanted to die he just simply could do nothing to keep himself alive; he would end it all now.

I know horrible cliffhanger but I need opinions this time (don't want people to get all snappy with me like they did with Father, Mother, Lover) anyway should Seto make it in time or too late? Should he come too late but be able to save Ryou's life anyway? (Take him to a hospital or whatever) Tell me in a review on what you want!
