Ryou didn't drag his feet on the way home, he didn't care anymore…Yami's worst enemy didn't even believe Ryou, nothing could be done about all this…might as well get home as soon as possible, it might help. Ryou walked inside quietly closing the door as quietly as possible. Yami would probably be here but it was late so he was most likely asleep. Ryou sighed deeply; he didn't want to go through the worst beating of his life with Yami, and with Bakura gone and no school that was what was in store for him.

Seto followed him all the way home but he wouldn't be able to watch him inside though unfortunately.

"At least he got home all right" Seto said softly as he began to walk home slowly.

He didn't understand why Ryou would say such a thing and if Yami was truly hurting him why? Even though Seto hated Yami, he had too much trouble believing that Yami would do such a thing to a Hikari nonetheless. He shook his head, he wanted to protect Ryou no matter whom he was against…but he couldn't go around just accusing people he had to have solid proof and unfortunately, Ryou's word was not good enough.

Ryou curled up on the couch no willing to go upstairs for fear of Yami being there…which he probably was. Just as Ryou was about to dose off the phone rang he managed to get it on the second ring and prayed that it hadn't woken Yami up, he wanted to at least delay the inevitable even if it was futile.

"Moshi-Moshi?" Ryou said softly

"Ryou?" Yugi's voice said on the other line

"Yugi? Why are you calling over here so late?" Ryou asked looking at the clock that read midnight.

"Well, I called yesterday cause you seemed upset about something earlier…but you weren't home. You've been acting strange lately, I was worried and Yami said he would go check on you for me." Yugi paused

Ryou looked behind him seeing Yami at the bottom of the stairs glaring at him dangerously.

"Did he make it over?" Yugi asked

Ryou swallowed nervously "No…he's not here at all." Ryou said not able to tear his gaze away from the spirit. "He must have gone somewhere else." Ryou said his voice low and slightly trembling.

"Ryou? You sound funny, are you sure you're okay? I-I'm worried about you…you've been acting strange ever since I told you I cared about you, if it's me you should tell me so I can stop bothering you." Yugi said sadly

"It's not you Yugi…I'm sorry but I have to go now, I just have things to deal with right now…I'll be fine." Ryou said hanging up before Yugi could answer

He cringed upon hearing Yami scoff "You hurt him again? As if you're not in enough trouble already…" Yami said grabbing Ryou by the back of his neck as you would a small animal. He shoved Ryou up the stairs throwing him violently into his room.

"Where were you?" Yami asked cracking his knuckles as he looked down upon Ryou.

"Does it matter?" Ryou said softly "It's not like anything I say will do me any good now." Ryou looked around hoping to find some means of escape but in vain.

"I guess not, but out of curiosity, I'd like to know." Yami asked grabbing his arm bringing him to his feet.

"N-nowhere, a park." Ryou stammered

"You slept out in the open all night?" Yami asked suspiciously

"Where else would I have gone?" Ryou asked finally looking at Yami his eyes shinning like diamonds. "How in their right mind would take me in?" Ryou said hoping Yami would buy it, he didn't need spending the night with Yami's worst enemy added to his list of punishments that day.

"If you would just behave, I wouldn't have to do things like this." Yami said shoving Ryou to the floor violently.

"I do 'behave' and I get a lesser treatment of what your about to do to me…again." Ryou said bitterly not caring if it caused him more pain, it didn't matter anymore.

"You make a fool's bargain little boy." Yami shot back as he threw Ryou face down on the bed. "You will soon learn your place when you're in my presence, your taking a little longer to break than I would expect but that just gives me the divine pleasure of seeing you bleed." Yami said maliciously. "You are worthless…" Yami said trailing off a bit "An object of my pleasure…and tonight I will see to it that you will never disobey me again." His voice practically dripped with venom as he whispered harshly into Ryou's ear.

He went to the nearby dresser pulling out his favorite toy he used against Ryou, a leather whip. Yami loved the look of fear on Ryou's face and he never hit him hard enough to scar just enough for it to sting like fire with no permanent marks. Yami roughly removed Ryou's clothing shoving him on the cold, hard, wooden, floor. He laughed slightly as he brought the whip down against Ryou's back and legs and watched the youth struggle to contain his screams and tears…his efforts to contain them were always in vain, Yami didn't even know why he bothered trying to hold back his pain, Yami supposed it was pride. Ryou sniffled but managed to hold back the tears this time although he cried out a few times when the whip his him. Yami stopped finally allowing Ryou a few moments to wallow in his own pain and desperation until he walked over to him bringing him to his feet by his hair.

"Hanashite!" Ryou screamed as he tore at Yami's hands trying to loosen his grip.

Yami sneered and slammed Ryou's body against the nearby wall. Knocking things off the nearby self as it turned on the radio.

Catch me as I fall
say you're here and it's all over now
speaking to the atmosphere
no one's here and I fall into myself
this truth drives me into madness
I know I can stop the pain if I will it all away

Ryou knew this song, it was "Whisper" by one of his favorite bands Evanescence, Ryou loved their music as he tired to focus on the lyrics while Yami slammed him against the wall as back made contact with the wall only magnifying the fire-like pain that he felt.

"We haven't tried the standing position yet…" Yami said pressing his body against Ryou's until they were flush against one another.

He lifted Ryou up forcing Ryou to wrap his legs around him as he drove his dry member inside Ryou. Yami smiled as he felt Ryou's small body tear against his size as he began to bleed only making it easier for Yami to slide in and out of him.

Don't turn away
don't give in to the pain
don't try to hide
though they're screaming your name

"God Ryou!" Yami screamed as he speed up his movements.

"Yamero…itai…" Ryou managed in-between gasps as he tried to pull away from Yami only pressing his body harder against the wall.

"Tell me you love it, tell me you want more!" Yami breathed into Ryou ear.

"Iie." Ryou said firmly, clenched his teeth, and shook his head no. "I want you to stop!" Ryou screamed holding back tears that threatened to fall any moment.

Don't close your eyes
God knows what lies behind them
don't turn out the light
never sleep never die

Yami glared at him dangerously "Maybe I should fuck you dry more often…you like it don't you? Being able to feel every inch of me inside you…" Yami said as he pounded harder into the small youth.

Ryou just shook his head no wishing Yami would just hurry up and stop. He couldn't hold back his tears any longer as they slowly fell from his delicate features as he allowed his head to fall against Yami's shoulder as he cried helplessly.

I'm frightened by what I see
but somehow I know that there's much more to come
immobilized by my fear
and soon to be blinded by tears
I can stop the pain if I will it all away

Ryou felt Yami climax inside him as Yami's essence burned like fire inside him as he dropped Ryou carelessly to the floor who seemed to drop lifeless at Yami's feet.

"We're not finished yet Ryou…not by a long shot but I have to tell Yugi that I've 'arrived' I'm supposed to tell him I'll be watching over you tonight…all night." Yami emphasized, "If he is upset because of you I swear you'll have a lot more to worry about than pain." Yami threatened as he walked out of the bedroom door.

Fallen angels at my feet

death before my eyes

forsaking all I've fallen for I rise to meet the end

Ryou shuddered hearing the end of the song as he wrapped his arms around himself trying to conceal his bare form although it truthfully didn't matter…he promise himself that Yami would not destroy him, he wouldn't allow Yami to win over him. He would survive no matter what he did to him…but he wondered who would he be living for…did anyone care, and were they worth it?

Angst, angst, angst! I love it! Moreover, I love that song! It was "Whisper" by "Evanescence" they rule so if you have downloading capabilities download some of their stuff you will not be disappointed! Anyway, I hope you liked it!
