I've wanted you forever and tonight.

Everything had started out as normally as possible.
Of course, he'd been human then.
One day a few weeks before graduation he'd been attacked in the limo on his way home. The driver had been drained dry. Not Seto, they'd thought it was a crime to kill someone so attractive. Whoever 'they' had been. He only remembered flashes of that night, and the pain.
The unbearable pain that he thought he would die from. And after the pain he remembered vaguely his rage, and finally red.
Mokuba had found him the next night in his room. He was covered in blood whether it was his blood or not remained a mystery to this day.
Ever since they'd done it to him… he'd been so unstable. He barely knew himself anymore. He barely trusted himself. It was like God had forsaken him entirely.
It was like that for a year, he'd raged over everything that had been torn from him.
The endless nights were the worst. The nights where he'd wake to find himself praying on an unknown stranger.
The nights where he'd perch on the tree… and stare… alien thoughts would run through his mind…thoughts he didn't even want to comprehend.
Finally he began to get a grip on himself. He found he could choose who he fed on, and if he took from more then two people, he found he didn't have to kill them. Mokuba was there to help him, researching with him, helping him to gain control of his dangerous temperaments, even learning to manipulate them to his advantage.
The years passed quickly for him, the ageless years, where all those around him became older. Things changed, his corporation expanded…
Jounouchi moved away after graduation…
Yugi and his partner Yami gave up Duel Monsters to live in their own little apartment together…
Bakura and Ryou went off to play in the wilds of the world…
Marik well, Marik just went poof…
Mokuba grew up, and Seto gave his brother the company…
Anzu contracted AIDS and died a few years after graduation…
Otogi, the dice freak, married Shizuka and they were now living in Europe somewhere…
Honda ran a bike shop…
And Jounouchi… Seto hadn't bothered to find out where the puppy had gone.
He didn't trust himself enough still.
He'd had to drop out of school, because he could hardly go when the sun burnt his flesh as if it were fire.

"Ne, Niisan!"
Seto grunted. "I wouldn't go for it; the stock holders will try to bully you into it."
Mokuba frowned. "But it's a good deal, if we could take their company, our only competition would be the small time dealers."
Seto looked at his thirty year old brother, a trimmer, calculating version of the little kid he'd brought up. Mokuba had dappered his hair so that it was styled like Seto's and the boy had taken to business suits.
The vampire reclined in Mokuba's chair, the one he used to own, and tapped his heels on the desk in front of him. "Yes, but the deal they want will give the share holders the power to fire you. I'm not disagreeing, in tactical advantages, and money, it's a good deal… however. We can't get any of that money if we're not head of the company. No, I say keep going with the small progress."
Mokuba sighed, shoving the file back into his folder. "Okay, I suppose you're right there. No wonder they were adamant about me reading the fine print."
"If you want, Mokuba, a freak virus might attack the competitions servers…" Seto offered, gloved hands rising innocently.
Mokuba laughed and shook his head. "No, too conspicuous."
Seto swung his brother's chair around and stood in as if he were pulled to his feet by magical, invisible strings. "Okay, but don't expect them to be so nice at the refusal."
Mokuba laughed and settled in behind his desk, turning the computer on and waving at his brother. "Seeya later, then."
Seto waved and strode to the door, pressing a gloved hand to the fingerprint scanner and then leaving as the doors opened. The scanner was a quaint little thing, it knew the gloves that he wore, and how they fit his hand exactly. It was good, because Seto didn't have a fingerprint any more.
He moved through the outer offices like a ghost, which to the video cameras, he was. The elevators were already waiting for him when he stepped onto the pad, turning to look at Tokyo as a flick of his hand selected the ground floor without pushing the actual button.
The lights of Tokyo were blazing brightly into the night, bright neon katakana proclaiming sushi and yakitori bars open for business. He could see these things as if the lift moved in slow motion, and yet, it was going so fast that any normal human would have seen only a blur.
The Gene-tech labs were been broken into, yet again. Seto smiled tiredly, it looked as if he'd found his meals for the evening. The vampire loved to get the people who kept breaking into Gene-tech, they came at least once a week, and he always felt like he was doing a good deed, after all, the security guards were lax enough to miss the robbers, he might as well help himself.
The elevator dinged and Kaiba stepped out onto the polished marble floor, turned and walked through the front door. The security guard didn't seem to see him, and that was just as it should be, for he did not want the man to see him.
He stepped out into the cool autumn air and breathed deeply. It was true, he didn't need to breathe, but he missed the action. He missed so many things… like riling up a certain blonde puppy.
The vampire moved silently down the street, hands in his pockets as he whistled between his teeth. It might have sounded easy, but when he whistled, his canines grew, and it was soon a feat to try and retract them without biting his tongue and still whistling. It had taken months to perfect this talent. He crossed the road and strolled through the alleys, slowly plodding to Gene-tech.
An explosion wrecked the ground and Seto was forced to lean against the nearest building as the earth shook beneath him. He smelt blood on the air. Ahead, around the corner where Gene-tech was, he could hear screams. And then a figure rounded the corner in a roll and fell as the tremors assaulted the force of gravity. Seto could hear the explosive beat of the figure's heart, the fine trembling in the teen- for he judged the figure to only be about this age- suggested to the panic the robber was in. obviously this one had the loot (whatever it was that you would consider worth robbing a genetics lab for) for he clutched a bundle to his chest protectively.
The tremors finally passed, and Seto casually moved up to the robber. "Tsk, tsk. I don't see the point to all this silliness; it's a small lab of the bigger company. What could it possibly have that's worth robbing?" before the startled, slightly disorientated thief could reply Kaiba gracefully pulled the teen to his feet and wrapped an arm around his chest, he found they could sometimes break lose on the initial biting, grabbed some of the silky blonde hair that fell in a mop about the robber's face and forced the thief to bare his neck.
Hissing, Seto bit down. The sweet taste of coppery blood filled his mouth and the vampire swallowed greedily. The figure in his grip had startled at first, body lunging instinctively away from the attack, but Seto's grip was easily compared to steel and it took only a moment before the bloodsucking began to lightening the bloodstream, making his victim begin to go light headed.
"Jounouchi! Where the fuck are you? I've got to let up on the shields in a minute! Jounouchi!" The small walkie-talkie at the figure's waist crackled.
Seto jerked back from his feeding and spun his victim around. He was holding an unconscious blonde puppy.
That wasn't the freaky thing.
The freaky thing was that he was holding a teenaged Jounouchi.
~ To Be Continued…
Sweet notes: Lol! Okay, reviews please!!!! I know it was short, but damn if it wasn't cute!
Seto: What's so freaky about him being a teenager?
Joey: Baka! Think about it, if Mokuba's thirty, I'd be in my forties to late thirties myself!
Seto: oh yeah… but wait… what the fuck does it mean that you're not? How can you still be a teenager, and be a forty year old?
Joey: It means I'm not human!
Yami: Oh… *checks Jou's height* well at least you're not an Elf again.
Yugi: Or a dwarf…

Joey: I feel the strange need to not have her answer that.
