AN: Yay - chapter 5. No Sex I'm afraid here - just some of the plot type thing getting out of the way. I promise there will definitely be some in the next chapter.
Hey- anyone know any good Yuri Yu-Gi-Oh stuff? I'd LOVE to see some!
Disclaimer - As per usual, I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh, but I sure wish I did...
Yami frowned as the girl ran off into the castle. Not bothering to follow her, he sat on the edge of the bed and began to mull over the situation. She'd been stronger than he thought, but he still may have accomplished enough.
During their first brief meeting, he had assessed the group. This required no special powers, just mere casual observation. When one had been around as long as Yami, one did not need any alternative abilities to read people like a book. As predicted, Jounouchi was willing to go anywhere Yuugi was. Ryou - as Yami well knew from experience was the easiest target, but his judgement was clearly not an overruling one. The remaining two were a bit more difficult. They clearly were protective and careful for their friends safety, but at the same time appeared attached to one another, and both were clear leaders. It had been a stroke of luck that Yami had happened to catch the way Anzu had looked at him.
He had initially planned to have her there long enough to snap her out of the trance when she was in a much more compromising position. Normally this would have been the kind of thing he would have preferred Malik to take care of...however Malik had done a few too many favors for Yami's tastes recently. Humans were odd though - and it seemed to be to his advantage this time that they tended to take very peculiar attractions to particular mates. He supposed though, that if one was in fact going to die - one needed to be attached to something.

Anzu remained quiet as she and her three friends continued to live this waking nightmare...and waited for their host. Honda grasped ahold of her hand, but she refused to look at him. Jounouchi and Ryou shifted in their seats uncomfortably as well, and mercifully Honda raised no issue, but rather concentrated on being the strong link for everyone's benifit.
A moment later, Yami entered, along with the white-haired Vampire from earlier - who in turn was leading an increasingly more docile-looking Yuugi along by his wrist. The third arrival was a man whom nobody could place, with enormous stylized platinum blonde hair and darker skin than anyone they'd met here thus far.
"The Millenium Items are objects of great and terrible power." Yami began, his eyes glinting in the dim torchlight light of the room. "It is our objective to obtain that power. The problem is however, that they can only be used by a creature with a mortal soul. Therefore we require you."
"Will you STOP IT with this mortal soul business?" Jounouchi ground out angrily, gripping the arms of his chair so tightly his knuckles cracked and turned white. "I don't know what kind of drugs you people are on to make you believe you're vampires...speed, weed, crack...and I don't even want to begin know how you did those phoney wings....or got that huge freaky castle down here. All I care about is getting my Yuugi away from your creepy cult. Maybe with a little time, he can learn to live a normal life...and..."
Yami nodded imperceptibly to Bakura who hauled Yuugi around and pressed an impressive-sized blade to his throat. Yuugi made no move to struggle, even when the edge of the knife pierced the skin and sent a small trickle of red running down his neck.
Jounouchi yelped.
"Will you stay?" Yami asked.
The blonde bowed his head and frowned. "If you let Yuugi go."
Another nod, and Bakura released the smaller boy, contentedly cleaning the small amount of blood from the knife with his tongue. Ryou looked ill, and Honda grabbed ahold of his hand too.
"You can't threaten any of us with Yuugi." Honda said, knowing full well that he could, but it was a trump card they could use. Thankfully Jounouchi didn't look at him.
"Is that so?" inquired Yami, obviously bored. "I do suppose we'll have to have a vote then. After all, that's the way you humans do things isn't it?"
Tristan furrowed his brow and looked at his other two companions. Shaking like a mad thing, Ryou's hand shot into the air. Honda cursed under his breath.
"That's two to stay." said Yami rather pleasantly. His expression changed violently as he then fixed Anzu with a rather pointed look. She in turn frowned heavily as a pink tinge worked its way to her cheeks, but she did move that they remain and help out.
Completely outnumbered, Honda had no choice but to agree.
"Excellent." The pleasant expression had returned to Yami's face. "Malik, if you will..."

The three walked through the airport, attempting to look as normal as they could. This however was a difficult task, when they knew full well that there were many authorities out looking for them.
"I wonder what we look like to everyone else." Honda murmurred into Jounouchi's ear. Shortly after the voting process had finished, they had discovered that the dark-skinned Vampire, who's name was Malik would provide a cloaking magic to be put on them. Essentially, it was a spell of sorts that had been described to them as making them all non-descript, non-recognizable images to everyone else. The sort of people that you never gave a second glance to. Everything they did and everything they said would be dismissed as somebody else's business. They had been assured that they could talk about vampires and Millenium Items all they liked without fear of discovery...however, despite all of this they were wary. They still looked the same to eachother.
"I was sure we'd be questioned about the coffins." Anzu pointed out. "Maybe...it really is magic. I had a story all ready about how we were taking our long dead relatives back to the old country."
Just prior, Anzu, Honda and Ryou had moved Yami, Malik, Yuugi and Bakura's coffins to the airport luggage station. Jounouchi had refused to go, and had instead remained in the underground lair...in the Castle of course.
"Hold it..." Jounouchi said, stopping them all dead in their tracks. "Look over there."
The blonde pointed across the airport lounge to the opposite corner, where an otherwise tall figure was slumped in a plastic chair - an airport coffee cup barely clutched in his fingers.
"That's Kaiba." said Anzu, looking rather stunned. "Wonder what he's going to Egypt for."
"Stop pointing!" muttered Ryou. "He's looking right at you Jounouchi..."
But Kaiba's eyes passed right over the four, as though they weren't there at all.

Jounouchi groaned as he slumped as far down as he could into the seats, trying to stretch his legs. The flight had been going on for at least an hour and a half already, and in coach class, everything was so cramped. "Argh, why couldn't we have ridden First Class?" he complained. "Isn't Yami supposed to be a King or something?"
"You ever heard of a rich vampire?" Honda asked, sitting straight in his seat and bearing the cramped space with a little more patience. Next to him, Anzu was asleep while Ryou had headphones on, watching the In-flight movie.
"Dracula..." Jounouchi defended...then stopped. "....That's not the point. The point is...I don't...know what the point is anymore. What are we supposed to do when we get to Egypt?"
"According to Yami, we're to meet a contact at the airport. It will be night in Egyptian time when we get there, so I'm assuming he's another vampire. He'll be helping us move the coffins to wherever we're staying." Honda rhymed off.
Jounouchi however, had fallen asleep.

Eventually, as all things must do - the Plane arrived at the Egyptian Airport. As Yami had promised, the sky from the Airport window was indeed dark. Shaking Jounouchi, Anzu and Ryou awake, they gathered the few things they had brought with them, and stepped into the Airport lobby.
"How do we know who's our contact?" Ryou asked, looking around at the sea of unfamiliar faces. "How do they know us if we have the charm on?"
"Yami didn't tell you guys anything about what he looked like?" Jounouchi asked, peering through the crowd.
"You...are the Entourage of King Yami?" Inquired a voice suddenly.
The owner of the voice was suddenly upon the group. Their eyes traveled up the long white dress, the masses of ancient golden jewelry and long hair so black it shone blue under the glow of the artificial lights. Yes - this was definitely their contact, but if she was male, then Anzu would eat her hat...had she been wearing one.
She smiled politely, or perhaps not so politely - she apparently hid a rather impressive set of fangs in that deceptively small mouth. "Come, we will have to act quickly. It is not so early here."
Once in the Airport special baggage claim, Anzu stepped up to the desk to adress the rather bored looking guard. "My name is Anzu Masaki." she began. "I have four coffins waiting to be picked up in the back?"
The guard didn't stir at all. "Excuse me?" Anzu repeated. "Wake up?" She looked back at the others, who shrugged. Their contact - who still had not given them a name - had an odd look on her face, but said nothing.
Anzu reached out a hand and gave the man a small poke on the shoulder. The slight touch caused him to suddenly slump to the kiosk desk, and from there, with no support, he slithered off the smooth wood surface and onto the ground.
"What in the...?" Anzu wrinkled her nose and stood on tiptoe to peer into the kiosk. A mess of caked blood stained the man's back - apparently he'd been dead for awhile - taken out from behind. Meanwhile, Ryou - who had tried the door to the baggage claim storage and found it open, let out a yell and dashed backwards faster than he'd ever done in his life.
An instant later, they were greeted by Bakura, who's face and hair were - again, like when they had first met him - liberally dripping with blood.
"I'm awake." he announced to no one in particular, as Jounouchi braved the room - and finding it...as safe and non-gore filled as a room Bakura had previously occupied could be, tried opening one of the coffins, and failing miserably.
"They don't like getting up." Bakura - who apparently was a morning...or was that night...person explained. He then turned and began wailing away on the nearest coffin with his boot, kicking it hard enough to make it rock back and forth. He leapt away chuckling madly as the lid flew off and Yami sat up.
Bakura occupied himself with kicking the other coffins open, but Yami had a smile on his face as he noticed their contact, standing in the doorway.
"Ah, it's been a long time Miss Isis."
