Summary: Balloons are usually associated with clowns and birthday parties, but what uses can they serve in the bedroom?

Seto was just about to turn off his computer when the email notice from Loonerpup flashed on his screen. He'd already decided to cut off communication with Pup and cease his online ventures to protect Mokuba and KaibaCorp, but surely one more email couldn't hurt…could it? His reputation was on the line, but the brunet ~did~ trust loonerpup. So what if he was found out? Loonerpup had called him SK...not Kaiba, not Seto, not Seto Kaiba...'not moneybags', his mind supplied. Seto sighed. This was not the time to be wishing for Wheeler, so he turned his attention back to the situation at hand. If loonerpup had not referred to him by name, maybe he had realized how important it was to keep his identity hidden?
With the hope that Pup was that insightful, Seto opened his email and quickly scanned the Times New Roman, 11pt font script. Slowly, his right eyebrow disappeared beneath his hairline.
Hiya Caustic,
I don't want you to run away from me. You gotta trust me on this one (and I know you don't trust easily, but give me a chance, ok?). I swear that your secret is safe with me, and I promise to you that no one will find out by my mouth (as big as it may be). And I always keep my promises, you know that.
Look, I know you're crazy about your puppy, and I think I can help you out. I just want the two of you to be happy. Joey is...close to me. I'd like to meet with you in person to talk about it since I have a feeling you're not going to be online anymore. Tomorrow night, 8:30 pm, at that coffee shop you always stop at in the mornings before school.
Trust me. You won't regret it.
Don't be late,
Pup.
Seto was frowning by the time he had finished reading. It would be a gamble to meet with Pup in person, but if his online friend really did know Joey, was it worth it? For all the brunet knew, he would arrive at the coffee shop and find reporters and journalists and cameras and microphones waiting for him. Or maybe, Pup was telling the truth, and Seto would get a chance to be with Joey.
The young CEO sighed. He would take the gamble. For that chance...for Joey...it was worth the risk.

The next evening, Seto found himself in front of the coffee shop. He'd been doubting himself and questioning his decision all day long, but he hadn't been able to dissuade himself from coming. So now, here he was, albeit slightly incognito. His silver trench coat was conspicuously absent from his body and he felt oddly out of place. His comfort zone was missing, and for once the cool, calm executive was lost. He stepped into the coffee shop with his eyes fixedly on the ground, and he quickly seated himself in one of the booths. Only when he was safely hidden behind a menu (and feeling extremely childish) did he look up. His deep blue eyes searched the store for any sign of the media, and he breathed a little easier when he saw none. Next he looked around for anyone who could be Pup...and his doubt returned when he saw no one.
Seto did, however, see a mop of blond hair in the back corner that was all too familiar to him. He wondered briefly what the mutt was doing at the exact same coffee shop that Pup had suggested, and then it all clicked into place. Memories flashed in the recesses of his mind, memories of times Pup had reminded him of Joey. Pup had gone to see his beloved sister. Pup talked and acted like Joey - he was certainly just as loyal. Pup loved the Red Eyes Black Dragon. Pup had a close-knit group of friends. Hadn't Joey been talking at school last week about visiting his sister?
The CEO's mind was suddenly flooded with questions, but the handle `Loonerpup', in itself, was a testament to Joey's feelings. If the blond had named himself after Seto's taunts, didn't that, in itself, speak louder than words? Pup had mentioned in his email that he was `close' to Joey...apparently the two were very close. So close that they were the same person, as Seto had just realized. And, as if the situation wasn't humiliating enough, Joey had figured out Seto's identity long before the brunet had discovered who loonerpup was.
Kaiba's thoughts crashed to a halt as warm brown eyes looked up and spotted him. The brunet barely had time to think before his puppy was sitting across from him and pulling the menu out of his hands. Seto immediately felt self conscious and exposed, but he didn't let that show. He schooled his expression into one of calm contemplation, and folded his hands on the tabletop. “Hello, Joey,” he greeted civilly without breaking eye contact.
The blond merely grinned in response. “Hiya, Seto. It's alright if I call you that, isn't it? Seto, I mean? I figure that we can be on a first-name basis now, since we've pretty near slept together a number of times, huh?”
Seto slowly counted to ten, and only when he was calm did he reply. “You may call me Seto, if you so wish. I hardly see what difference it makes.” He then skipped straight to business. “You know a secret of mine, Joey; a secret I don't want anyone else to know about under any circumstances.”
Joey's grin widened. “Ah, so you finally figured out just how close Pup and I are, huh? Well, Pup made a promise and I'm bound to agree with him. You're secret is safe with me, Seto.”
The brunet shivered as Joey's voice dropped about an octave, Seto's name rolling off of the small, pink tongue with the smoothness of honey and silk. “All right,” he agreed after a few tense moments had passed between the two of them. “I...I trust you.”
Joey's foot rubbed at Seto's calf beneath the table and he stared at Seto from beneath hooded eyelids. “I'm glad,” he purred, propping his chin on the palm of his hand, “very glad.”
Seto licked his suddenly dry lips, but he kept his hands firmly planted on the table. He wanted nothing more than to reach out and touch his puppy, but he knew that he couldn't do it here. “Do you want to get out of here?” he asked, struggling to keep his voice smooth and calm. It was hard to believe that after so much animosity and fighting between them that Joey was flirting so blatantly. “We could head back to the Kaiba Manor,” he suggested.
Joey smiled and Seto's heart skipped several beats. “Sure, Seto,” the blond agreed, moving to get to his feet. “I'd like that.”
