[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]
Well, this is my first fanfic, so please be nice, but I would really like to know what you think!!! Trust me, it is really hard to hurt my feelings. another bonus is that the entire story is written, I will just ask for a certain number of reviews each chapte,r and when that amout is reached, I'll post the next chapter. Easy huh? now for the disclaimer:
What I don't own: everything Yu-Gi-Oh related, any and all products that get place in my story, and songs that I use, so pretty much anything you think you've seen/heard/read about before
what I do own: Jacqueline Elizabeth Delematre (aka Jackie), the story line and pocket lint
what does this mean to you?
if you sue, you get: pocket lint so please be nice and don't sue!!

“Why do I have to be invisible? Why does it seem like nobody notices me?” This was one of the few thoughts that passed through the mind of sixteen year-old Jackie as she sat in her room, looking out onto the streets that sat below her thirty-third story window. Jackie blinked her emerald green eyes rapidly to stop the tears from falling. Just once... she wished she had a friend, or at least someone to talk to. She was brought out of her musings by the sound of the front door slamming shut. She quickly shut the book she was doodling in and opened the window as she heard the drunken footsteps creep ever closer to her room. She way half way out of the window when her door was thrown open with enough forced to dent the wall behind it.
“ Where ya think you're goin?” the drunken voice of her father said as he roughly grabbed her long flame red hair and pulled her back into the room
“You got your payment?” He hissed at her.
“Umm...” Jackie started to answer, but her response was to slow for her father's liking. She gasped for air as she came in contact with the far wall.
“I dun ask for much from you piece of shit...” Her father started.
Jackie could smell the alcohol on him.
“I only ask you do what I tells ya to and ta pay me fer it.”
“But sir, I haven't had a trick in weeks, so...” she was cut off by a swift kick in the stomach.
“So nuthin.” he finished for her. He grabbed her chin and forced her off the ground. Mere inches separated them.
“Lemme clear sumthin up fer ya. Your job is ta make those nice men I give yous happy. When they are happy, they give yous money. You then give me 90% of what yous get, and that makes me happy. When I'm not happy, the people I give yous is mean. They like to punch and hit and do all loads of shit. Now since yous didn't give me no money, yous get three tricks tonight that are mean, nasty old sons of bitches. Let this be a warning. Next time you get me my money. Or Else.” He tightened his grip and whispered in her ear, “Got it?”
She gasped out “Yes sir.” before she fell to the floor in a crumpled heap.
Her father turned to leave and as he was shutting the door, he turned back around and said, “Be ready by eight, you got a long night ahead.” And he slammed the door shut and went off to get more booze.
After making sure her father was out of ear shot, Jackie sat on the ground in the middle of her floor and cried.
Again, the only thought to pass through her head was, “ Why do I have to be invisible? Why does it seem like nobody notices me?”
After a few hours, She picked herself up off the floor and got ready for work. Her fathers warning repeated itself over and over again in her head, and she knew better than to take it lightly. She needed help. She needed to get out. But she needed somebody's help to help her.
Sallowing her tears, she headed out the door and onto the streets of St. Louis.

Well, that was kinda short, I apoligize. And this is a Yu-Gi-Oh fic, I promise, that YGO character I'm mainly using is coming in next chapter. All I'm asking for is three, four, and five reviews and I'll happily post the next chapter.
till then, adios
