Joey was entering his usual homeroom, slightly later than everyone else but that was not unusual, when…

"No, no Joey, your quite lucky, you don't have to have regular classes. Since you are such a nuisance, and Seto is so advanced, we decided to let him teach you one one-on-one. I think the personal attention will do you wonders."

"What? One-on-one with Kaiba? Are you out of your mind? He'll kill me!!!"

"Now Joey, we've been over this before, Seto does not want to kill you, he merely wants to help you…"

"Help me into an early grave."

"Joey, Seto has assured us that he will not let personal emotions, or his `hatred' as you call it, interfere with the quality of the education you receive. He has already devised a thorough lesson plan, and I hold him in the utmost esteem."

"I don't believe this is happening to me…"

"Oh yes, you will refer to me as Mr. Kaiba, or Mr. Seto Kaiba if you wish. Now our first lesson will be geometry, it seems your math skills are sorely lacking…"

~Minutes before final bell~

"…And you will read, and write an essay on the book War and Peace… which you will hand in…tomorrow."

"What? Are you nuts? That book is huge, I couldn't finish it if it took me a year…"

"Then fail, see if I care. Oh yes, and for questioning my sanity, you get an extra page of geometry…Have fun!!!"

Joey left, muttering under his breath, "Lousy Kaiba, thinks he's so great…"

He was so angry, he didn't see that he bumped into his friends, until it was too late.

"Hey Joey," Yugi called, "Joey, we're going to the movies tonight, what time should we pick you up?"

"Sorry Yug, I got a ton of homework, maybe some other time.

"Did he say homework?" Tea whispered to Yugi.

"Yea," Yugi whispered back.

"But he never does homework!"

"I have no clue either."

"Why's he carrying that book, War and Peace, since when did he need a paper weight."

"Don't ask me, something weird must be happening to him."

"Must finish…gotta hand in paper to Kaiba…show him I'm not a stupid, worthless Mutt…" Joey muttered, as he gulped down his 13th cup of coffee. It was 2 AM, it was hard for Joey to believe that in a mere 4 hours, he would usually be getting up. His eyelids felt like lead weights, and he felt that his eyes would bleed from lack of sleep. "Just a few minutes of sleep can't hurt?" Joey said as he fell into a deep sleep.
