The Dream Sequence

Karen: Before we begin, I have some new rules for using the review section. You must include a review, but can include anything else. If you want to be in the fic, give me a name and pairing, and DoL will take care of the rest. You may also submit a deck type, but the individual cards are my choice.

Perviously:

DoL: So, uh, do you know anyone that might help me get back to the human world.

DMG: ^-^ Why would you wanna go back?

DoL: So I could see everyone I know again.

DMG: *thinks* My cousin, Magician of Black Chaos, could help. But that would take 10 days.

DoL: Well, we could always take the Dragon.

DMG: DRAGON?!?

Hellfire: You two vs. me.

Seto/JG-chan: *look at each other* Fine!

Hellfire: LET'S DUEL! ---

Hellfire: I play Gateway Form.* This Magic Card lets me control 1 monster while it's in play. I choose the Flame Swordsman! Now I activate Fusion Weapon, raising my Fusion monster's ATK and DEF by 1500 points.

FS: 1800/1600 --> 3300/3100

JG-chan: I discard a card in my hand to trigger my Paladin's second effect: Negation of a Magic Card. I discard Spear Dragon so he gets another 500 ATK.

FS: 1800/1600

DP: 3900/2400

JG-chan: It's a whole new game now!

***In the monster world***

DoL: It’s getting dark, mabye we should rest.

DMG: Sounds good to me.

***In Tsa***

H-2800 vs. S-8000 JG-7000

Hellfire: (Flame Swordsman 1800/1600, Obnoxious Celtic Guardian w/ Megamorph 2800/1200, 0 cards in hand)

Seto: (Blue-Eyes White Dragon 3000/2500 in play, 2 cards in hand, 1 card face down)

JG-chan: (Dark Paladin 3900/2400, 0 cards in hand)

Seto: My turn. *draws*

***Back in Tsa… in DoL’s dream***

We see a young DoL and Darts drawing pictures. Unbeknownst to them, DMG is watching from afar.

DoL: Hey! Look at this! *holds up a picture of a red dragon* It’s called the Tyrant Dragon.

Darts: Well, I’ll use this picture called Change of Heart to us it myself!

DoL: Not if I do this! *holds up another picture* It’s called Solemn Judgement and stops what you’re about to do!

Darts: Aww, man. Well, Then I’ll use this. *holds up a picture of a hole*

DoL: A pitfall trap?

Darts: No! This one’s better. It’s bottomless!

DoL: Sorry, my monster can detect traps and avoid them.

***Scene change again!***

Seto: Blue-Eyes, attack his Flame Swordsman

Hellfire: My card I used to take control forces it’s owner to take the overflow damage!

JG-chan: What?

H-2800 vs. S-8000 JG-5800

JG-chan: My turn. Dark Paladin, attack the Obnoxious Celtic Guardian!

H-1700 vs. S-8000 JG-5800

Hellfire: Obnoxious Celtic Guardian can’t be destroyed my monsters with 1900 ATK or more. My turn. I switch my monster into defense mode and set 1 card. Go.

Seto: I set this card and summon Vorse Raider (1900/1200). Go.

JG-chan: I play Winged Dragon, Guardian of the Fortress #1 (1400/1200). (DP: 4400/2400) Winged Dragon, attack!

Hellfire: I activate Mirror Force, destroying all 4 of your monsters!

Seto/JG-chan: Oh no!

Seto: Oh, well, I activate a Trap Card, Giant’s Rebirth,* which revives my level 7 or higher monster I just lost. Return, Blue-Eyes (3000/2500).

Hellfire: My turn. I play Graceful Charity! Now I use Monster Reborn and revive a monster I just discarded: Millennium Shield in defense mode (0/3000). Go.

Seto: I draw. I play Dragon’s Gunfire and hit you for 700 damage!

H-1000 vs. S-8000 JG-5800

Seto: I play Kaiser Seahorse (1700/1650). Attack his Celtic Guardian!

Hellfire: Oops.

Seto: My turn is over.

JG-chan: I summon Spear Dragon (1900/0)! Your move.

***back in the dream…***

We’ve traveled to Darts’s house, where his dad is in the kitchen.

Darts: Look, daddy, DoL drew a powerful monster!

Dart’s dad (DD): *takes the drawing* I summon this monster! *summons the Tyrant Dragon* Attack!

Darts: Daddy, what are you doing?

DoL: Tyrant Dragon, stop, turn, and attack!

DD: Huh? AUGH! *hits ground*

DoL: Sorry, sir. I was just in the moment.

DD: I’ll take it down. I summon Celtic Guardian and Dark Magician Girl (1400/1200 and 2000/1700). Combo attack!

DoL: Counterattack! Destroy them both!

CG and DMG: *destroyed*

Other DMG: *still watching from afar*

DD: Then I’ll use my strongest monster, Dark Magician! Attack!

DoL: Counterattack!

DM: *destroyed*

A strange man walks in.

Darts: Obakitsae, what are you doing here?

Obakitsae: Blue-Eyes White Dragon, attack!

DoL: I generate a Mirror Force!

Obakitsae: Blue-Eyes, run!

The Mirror Force shatters as Blue-Eyes’s White Lighting hits DD. The broken Mirror Force cuts DoL on the cheek, but more importantly, DD’s LP drop to 0 and he disappears.

Darts: DADDY!

***DoL and DMG awaken***

DoL: Was that real?

DMG: Hey, DoL, there’s a cut on your face.

DoL: Huh? *puts hand to cheek and when he pulls it back, there is some blood on it.

***Back in Tsa, again***

Hellfire: I draw! I discard my monster to play Card of Sanctity. Now we each draw until we have 6 cards. I set 2 cards and play Premature Burial on my Millennium Shield and use Shield and Sword!

MS: 3000/0 – BEWD: 2500/3000 – VR: 1200/1900 – KS: 1650/1700 – SD: 0/1900

Hellfire: Millennium Shield, attack Vorse Raider!
