MC: Next duel, Yami Bakura vs Yami Yugi.

Bakura: You don’t have a chance Pharaoh

Yami: Let’s Duel.

B-8000 Y-8000

Bakura: I draw. I summon Headless Knight (1450/1700) and equip him with Dark Energy. (HK: 1750/2000) Go.

Yami: I set 1 monster in defense mode. Go.

Bakura: I play Soul Exchange on your face down card so I can sacrifice it for the Earl of Demise (2000/500).

Yami: My move. I play Swords of Revealing Light. Now I summon Alpha the Magnet Warrior (1400/1700). Go.

Bakura: (3 turns left for SoRL) I summon Witty Phantom (1400/1300) and set 1 card. Go.

Yami: I play Queen’s Knight (1500/1600). Attack his Witty Phantom!

Bakura: I activate Needle Ceiling to destroy all face up monsters: all of them.

Yami: I set 1 card; go.
Bakura: (2 turns left for SoRL) I remove the 3 Fiends in my graveyard from play to summon Dark Necrofear (2200/2800). I also summon Ryu-Kashin Powered (1600/1200).

Yami: Okay, my turn. I summon Kuriboh (300/200). I set 2 cards, go.

Bakura: (Last turn for SoRL) I play Cancel Magic*. This Magic Card has anti-Magic magic. All face up Magic cards, except for itself, are destroyed, and then you can no longer play Magic cards at all.

Yami: Oh no! My 2 face down cards are useless.

Bakura: Your Swords are no more! Dark Necrofear, attack!

Yami: I activate Mirror Force to destroy your monsters.

Bakura: I end my turn, and Dark Necrofear possesses your Kuriboh! Bring it here! Kuriboh is mine.

Yami: I set 1 card and summon Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight (2300/2100) because it’s the only card in my hand. Attack his Kuriboh!

B-6000 Y-8000

Bakura: I draw and play Card of Sanctity. Now I play Dark Sanctuary, then set 2 cards, a monster, and play Stray Lambs.

Lamb Tokens: 0/0 in DEF (x2)

Bakura: I offer 1 to keep my Sanctuary. Go.

Yami: I draw.

Bakura: I activate Destiny Board.

Yami: Dark Sanctuary possesses one of my monsters, so it must be Gaia. Your Sanctuary must posses Gaia, since it is my only monster. I’ll summon Silver Fang (1200/800). Attack his Lamb Token.

Bakura: It’s gone, so I activate Scapegoat!

Sheep Token: 0/0 in DEF (x4)

Bakura: My turn. But first, I play Spirit Message "I". (Message: F-I) Now I offer my face down monster to summon Fiend Cat LV5* (5/2300/1400). Attack his Silver Fang.

B-6000 Y-6900

Yami: My turn. I guess Gaia’s possessed. Also, he has only 3 Sheep tokens. I set 2 cards and summon Skilled Dark Magician (1900/1700). Go.

Bakura: I play Spirit Message "N". (Message: F-I-N) Now Fiend Cat levels up to LV7* (7/2800/2000) Attack his Magician!

Yami: I activate Magic Cylinders!

B-3200 Y-6900

Yami: My turn. I activate Call of the Haunted to revive Kuriboh (300/200). Now I offer my 3 monsters for Slifer the Sky Dragon (4000/4000). Attack his Cat!

B-2000 Y-6900

Bakura: My move, and Spirit Message "A" is played. (Message: F-I-N-A) And as a reminder, my monster zones are magic/trap zones, too. I offera Sheep Token, leaving me with just 1.

Y: I play Choas Gravedigger* (4/1500/1200). Now each of us fill our monster zones with monsters in attack mode from our graveyard. I choose: Swift Gaia (2300/2100), Skilled Dark Magician (1900/1700), and Gazelle (1500/1200).

Bakura: But what’s the point? Next turn, I’ll just offer 1. Anyway, I revive Fiend Cat LV7 (2800/2000), Fiend Cat LV5 (2300/1400), Earl of Demise (2000/500) and Dark Necrofear (2200/2800). With your card, you can’t attack this turn.

Yami: But Slifer still hits your monsters. Look what you did. All of your monsters will survive. Any other monsters would have allowed you to play Spirit Message "L", completing FINAL.

Earl of Demise: 0/500

Dark Necrofear: 200/2800

Yami: Go.

Bakura: I switch all of my monsters into defense mode and offer Earl of Demise.

Yami: I play Fairy Meteor Crush on Slifer. Attack his Fiend Cat LV5.

Yami: That means I win, Bakura!

Bakura: Phooey. I was so close.
