Joey: Let’s Go! I set 2 cards and summon Gearfried the Iron Knight (1800/1600).
An: Summoning Dark Elf (2000/800). Setting 1 card.
Seto: Kaiser Seahorse (1700/1650 in attack mode. 2 cards facedown. Go.
Droid: Summoning Giant Orc (2200/0). Setting 1 card.
Joey: I offer Gearfried and Kaiser Seahorse for Gilford the Lightning (Shared Monster, 2800/1400). Since I sacrificed Kaiser Seahorse for a LIGHT monster, it counts as 2 sacrifices. Since I sacrificed 3 monsters, Gilford destroys your monsters!
Seto: That was actually a good move.
Joey: Hey, I beat you, didn’t I?
DVA: Hey, you notice that the opponents have 4000 Life Points, too?
EBC: Yeah, and they use the same rules, too.
DoL: I noticed, I just didn’t say anything.
Joey: Gilford, attack!
An: Activating Mirror Force.
Seto: Seven Tools of the Bandit.

An: Turn commencing. Setting 1 monster. Setting 1 card. Ending turn.
Seto: I summon Y-Dragon Head (1500/1600). Attack Droid directly!
Droid: Activating A Rival Appears! I summon Raremetal Dragon (2400/1400)
J/S-6100 A/D-5200
Droid: My turn. I summon Cyber Dragon (TV version) (5/2100 ATK), which requires no sacrifice.
Joey: You still have to get through Gilford to damage our Life Points!
Droid: Setting 1 card. Ending turn.
Joey: I play Lightning Blade to power up Gilford (3600 ATK). Gilford, attack Cyber Dragon
An: Activating Wall of Revealing Light. Paying 4000 Life Points to stop all attacks by opponents’ monsters with 4000 ATK or less.
J/S-6100 A/D-1200
Droid: Chaining with Magic Cylinder.
<A/N: I don’t think you can do that in the real game.>
J/S-2500 A/D-1200
An: Turn Commencing. Flip Summoning Mask of Darkness (900/400). Returning Mirror Force to hand. Setting 2 cards. Sacrificing Mask of Darkness for Spell Cancellor (1800 ATK, negates all Magic Cards).
Gilford: 2800/1400
Seto: My move. I activate Call of the Haunted to revive Kaiser Seahorse. Now I sacrifice him for Blue-Eyes White Dragon (3000/2500). Go.
Droid: Summoning Goblin Attack Force (2300/0). End of turn.
Joey: I sacrifice Gilford to summon Jinzo (Shared Monster, 2400/1500), which is still technically a shared monster because I sacrificed a shared monster. Now, Jinzo, attack Spell Cancellor!
J/S-2500 A/D-600
Joey: Now I play Monster Reborn to revive Gilford (2800/1400, no longer shared). Go.
An: Playing Snatch Steal on Blue-Eyes White Dragon. On Seto Kaiba’s turn, his team will gain 1000 Life Points. Commencing attack against Jinzo.
J/S-1900 A/D-600
An: Activating Bad Reaction to Simochi. All of your life gains are life drains. Turn ceased.
Seto: My turn.
J/S-900 A/D-300
Seto: I can’t believe I’m doing this, but I play Monster Reborn to revive Jinzo. Attack Cyber Dragon!
Droid: Begin turn. Raremetal Dragon attacks Jinzo. *both destroyed* Turn ends.
Joey: I play Giant Trunade! All Magic and Trap Cards return to their owner’s hands. Which means… the Wall and Snatch Steal are gone, and Blue-Eyes is returned to Kaiba. But that doesn’t matter. Gilford, attack Goblin Attack Force!
S/J-900 A/D-0
An/Droid: Opponent’s victory. Opening Level 2 security door.
A metal door retracts, showing level 3.
