Problem: I have two chapters numbered 50.

Solution: I put them both here! Double Chapter today!

Joey’s Slumber Party – Return to the Past

I don’t own Yu-Gi-Oh! or Magic: The Gathering, but I do own cards (for now) with a * after them.

Chapter 50-A

Checkpoint 1 – Magic: The Gathering

Joey: KAYLA!

Kayla: Hey, cutie! DoL, let’s have a duel! *pulls out weird cards that Yugi’s never seen before*

DoL: *pulls out similar cards*

K-20 D-20

Kayla: I play a Forest. Go.

DoL: I play a Mountain and tap for Goblin Digging Team (Red) (1/1).

<A/N: The first thing in parentheses is the cost of the card, then in the others, the first number is power (damage it deals) and the other is toughness (HP). Oh, the colors of mana that Land Cards provide: Mountain – Red, Island – Blue, Plains – White, Swamp – Black, Forest – Green.>

Kayla: I play another Forest and summon Spearmaster Elf* (1 + Green) (1/2).

<A/N: A number in the cost is generic mana, or it can be paid with any color or uncolored mana.>

DoL: I play Island and summon Razorfin Hunter (Red + Blue) (1/1). Go.

Kayla: I play Forest and Terraformed Area*. I draw 10 cards and play the 7 Forests in my hand. Since I have 10 Lands, I lose 10 Life due to Terraformed Area’s effect.

K-10 D-20

Kayla: Now I summon Destiny Bean Elf* (2 + Green + Green) (1/1) and play Philosopher’s Stone* (6) (Artifact), Go.

DoL: I play Plains and enchant my Goblins with Quicksilver Dagger (1 + Red + Blue) (Enchant Creature).

<A/N: Enchantments are similar to equip cards in Yu-Gi-Oh! They attach to any creature in play and can raise their powers or give them new abilities.>

DoL: I tap my Goblins to use their newfound ability to deal you 1 damage, then I draw a card.

K-9 D-20

DoL: Now I tap Razorfin Hunter to use it’s effect to hit you for 1 more damage.

K-8 D-20

DoL: I play Reset Terraforming* (0) to send all Land cards back to the decks and we each draw 3 cards, but you can’t due to your Terraformed Area card. Go.

Kayla: I activate Philosopher’s Stone by tapping it and throwing out my hand.

<A/N: In case you’ve been confused, tapping a card means turning it sideways to show it’s been used. Sometimes it’s a cost to use it’s ability. Also, excluding Lands, a card cannot be tapped on the same turn it is played or came under your control unless it has the Haste ability. This is called Summoning Sickness.>

Kayla: Now I add a Forest to my hand and play it. I tap it as well as my Destiny Beam Elf and destroy Goblin Digging Team. Spearmaster Elf, attack!

<A/N: Damage in battle is resolved like this: the attacker chooses the attacking monsters, then the defender can block with untapped creatures, blocking 1 or more creatures with 1 or more creatures each, the only limit being the number of untapped creatures he or she has to block. Next, the attackers are tapped and damage is allotted in creature-vs-creature battles. If a creature is blocked by multiple creatures, the attacker chooses how to split the damage, and the blockers deal damage to the attacking creature. Then, any creature with damage equal to or greater than it’s toughness is destroyed. Any unblocked creatures deal damage directly to the opponent. Damage on monsters is removed at the end of the turn.>

DoL: My move. I play Island and summon Faerie Squadron (Blue) (1/1). Razorfin Hunter, attack!

Kayla: Everything’s untapped, so I’ll use my Destiny Beam Elf to destroy Fearie Squadron. Spearmaster, attack!

K-7 D-18

DoL: I play Plains and summon Mystic Familiar (1 + White) (1/2, Flying).

<A/N: A creature with Flying cannot be blocked, except by other Flying creatures. A Flying creature can block any creature, if nothing restricts it.>

DoL: Activate Razorfin. Go.

K-6 D-18

Kayla: Same as last time. *Mystic Familiar destroyed*

K-6 D-17

DoL: Battle-Scarred Wasteland* (I think, also a non-Basic Land). I tap it for 2 colorless mana. I also tap my Island and summon Suihou Kistune* (2 + Blue) (3/2). Razorfin, attack!

K-5 D-17

Kayla: Repeat. *Suihou Kitsune destroyed*

K-5 D-16

DoL: Ruins of Trokair (non-Basic Land) comes into play tapped. Now I play Jilt (1 + Blue) to return Destiny Beam Elf to your hand. I summon a Mystic Familiar (1 + White) (Threshold active, 2/3 Flying).

<A/N: Threshold abilities are only active if the player using them has at least 7 cards in his or her graveyard.>

DoL: Razorfin, attack!

K-4 D-16

Kayla: Pass.

DoL: I play Mountain and tap all of my lands and sacrifice Ruins of Trokair for an extra white mana and summon Angel of Retribution (5/5, Flying, First Strike).

<A/N: A card with First Strike deals damage before other creatures.>

DoL: I activate Razorfin and Mystic Familiar attacks.

K-1 D-16

Kayla: Pass.

DoL: Angel, finish her!

K-0 D-16

DoL: Now let us pass.

Kayla: Fine. *grabs Joey and runs away* BUT HE’S COMING WITH ME!!!

Mai: You little…

Ryou: Calm down, Mai.

Mai: CALM DOWN?!? THAT $@%! HAS JOEY-KUN!!!

Erika: How do we get him back?

Shadi: Mabye my Millennium Scale or Key will help.

Bandit Keith: Yeah, I don’t think so old man!

Achira: *grabs Duke*

Duke: Can’t… breathe… *passes out*

Malik: Can we go now?

Marik: Yes, we’ve not continued yet.

Kayla/Mai: *pulling on opposite sides of Joey*

Joey: YAHHH! Lemmego!

Suddenly there is a loud explosion.

DoL: Now that I have your attention, let’s go!

RowanGirl: Fine. Let’s go! *drags Ryou along… literally*

Munchkins in the background: *singing*

Yugi: What’s that? In the distance?

Eatos: *charges at shadowy figure*

DoL: I summon Servant of Catabolism (700/500)! Direct attack!

DoL: I don’t think that’ll work. Revival of Five God Dragon! I sacrifice Blazing Inpachi, 7 Colored Fish, Harpie Lady 1, Jirai Gumo, and Giant Orc to summon the Ritual Version of Five God Dragon (5000/5000).

DMK: 5500/5000

DoL: When Five God Dragon is summoned, all opposing cards are destroyed!

A. Bakura: My Omega Diabound is still invincible.

Yamifanner: Call of the Normal*. The equipped monster becomes a Normal monster, so no effects for Diabound!

Seto/Yami: Dragon Master Knight, Dragon Saber Blast!

A. Bakura: Attack Guidance Armor! Now you have to attack the Five God Dragon!

DoL: Scroll of Bewitchment makes Dragon Master Knight a FIRE monster!
