NOTE: I do not own Faith Hill's “From This Moment.”

Kat: Miranda is impervious to Aten's chibi eyes. She's probably seen them too many times….and can you imagine the chibi eyes Robbie used to give her? How cute!
Marik ishtar 77: Hmm…I was thinking of having her knock on the door to turn down the moaning…but maybe in the next lemon between them.
Uke Kit and Uke Io: Thanks for still reading my story. *hugs*
elusive dreamer: Aten and aria duel Yami the next story. I never heard of Diabound…I've never even seen it. I'll have to look it up. Bakura can go into his soulroom, but it would hurt him instead of help him. He'd grow weaker as if he had the soulroom sickness if he were in there for a long time. As far as Ryou being involved in the evil plot, that's a good idea to bring up. I may save that for the next story.Yami's plot continues in the next story, so that is a really good idea to bring up.
Anubiset: Yeah, I'll have everyone send gifts for the couples. I hope you are feeling better.
Valea: Jaimen has to be about 15…he's around Aten and Robbie and Aria's age.
Draza: *hugs cookie tin* yeah, Gillam so deserved to die.
Lissete: I've been toying with the idea of Tristan and Otogi adopting. I have a plan for them.
Tari Helyanwe: They can get through anything together….but it will take time.
…..hi: thanks for your review
Shadow of Light: Aria did not fall far from Bakura's tree.
Lady Elfskye: *hugs*
Kura Magician Girl: She is going to have her hands full, definitely.

The Union Of The Dragons

Aria walked through the Shadow Realm, grumbling low in her throat. Aten yawned as he accompanied his sister.
“Okay….Tell me what you had against the waffle griddle.”
Aria sniffled as she rubbed her teary eyes. “It wouldn't cook my waffle.”
“Did you try pushing the `On' button?”
Aria sighed. “Yes, Aten. It still wouldn't cook my waffle.”
“Well, we can't look around here all day. We have a wedding to go to today.”
Aria looked around the purple haze. “Hmm…if I was a stupid waffle griddle, where would I be?”
“That's a tough one. If it was milk, we at least know the Helpless Child would be drinking it. I wonder why he didn't come and greet me when I entered.”
“Yeah, you know…the Nightmare Dragon didn't even come and see me.”
Aten squinted his eyes. “I see something in the distance!”
Aten ran into the purple haze.
“Aten! Don't leave me!” Aria ran after her brother and knocked into him.
“What's wrong?”
Aten stood still and silent. “Sister…..”
Aria stepped beside her brother and saw the duel monsters surrounding two dragons. “What's going on?”
Above the monster the Nightmare Dragon's wings spread over two monsters.
Aten and Aria approached slowly.
“Hello, mistress,” the Nightmare Dragon said.
“Hello, Master Aten,” The Helpless Child said.
Aten kneeled to the little two year old. “What is going on?”
“The Red Eyes Black Dragon and the Blue Eyes White Dragon have bonded. Look.”
The child lead Aten and Aria towards the two duel monsters under the Nightmare Dragon's wings.
The Red Eyes and the Blue eyes were curled around each other, sleeping.
“Bonded?” Aria asked.
The Nightmare Dragon lowered its head. “Yes. Their masters will bond….and so have their monsters. Where one goes, one will forever follow now. And that is not all….behold….a new dragon emerges.”
Aria and Aten approached the sleeping dragons and saw a tiny dragon curled beside the Red Eyes.
“Behold…a new generation of dragon….the Red Eyes White Dragon!”
The baby dragon opened its red eye and looked up at Aria.
“Aww…it's an albino dragon!” Aten said with a smile.
Aria pet the dragon's head. “It's so cute!”
Aten looked up and saw the Blue Eyes draping its wing protectively over the Red Eyes.
“Has anyone seen a waffle griddle? A Waffle Iron, I think it's called?”
The Flame Swordsman stepped out of the crowd. “One of the machine monsters found it. I wasn't sure what this contraption was and I was going to destroy it.”
Aria grabbed the Waffle Griddle and hugged it. “Thank you! If I didn't find this, I'd be in a lot of trouble!”
“It's yours now.”
Aten looked at his watch. “Aria, we have to go! We still have to eat breakfast and get dressed!”
Aria ran back to the baby albino dragon and pet its head. “Goodbye, baby Red Eyes White Dragon.”
Aria and Aten ran back to the portal that Aria had created.

Yugi watched his friend look at himself in the mirror. Joey straightened his tie and ran his fingers through his blond hair. Yugi stepped beside his friend and rested his head against Joey's arm.
“You look awesome, Joey!”
“Do you think so, Yug? I hope I look good enough.”
Yugi smiled and brushed a stray hair away from Joey's shoulder. “Are you kidding? You look so handsome!”
Joey walked to the stained glass window and looked at the picture of a lamb with a shepherd. “I've waited almost twenty years for this moment, Yugi. Seto's going to be my husband. Everything we've been through together….has lead up to this moment.”
Yugi smiled. “This has to be the best moment of your life, Joey!”
Joey looked over at Yugi with tears pricking the back of his brown eyes. “Then why do I feel like crying?”
“Joey? Why are you crying?”
Joey sat down on a chair. “I…..This is something I've always wanted. But…I'm afraid.”
“Of Seto?”
“I want to be a good husband.”
Yugi hugged Joey tightly. “You two have been together for longer than most couples stay married! I don't think Seto is going to leave you anytime soon, you know.”
“What if this changes things between us? Seto will be more than my lover, Yugi. He will be my husband. H-U-S-B-A-N-D!”
Yugi shook his head. “There is no way Seto is going to abandon you, Joey. This won't change anything between you. The only thing that will change is that your new name will be officially Joseph Wheeler-Kaiba. You sign everything like that already. The last fifteen years at least you have signed all of my Christmas cards `Joey Wheeler-Kaiba.' Nothing will change between you both.”
Joey looked up at Yugi and wiped his eye. “Are you sure?”
“Positive. Now let's go out there, Joey. Your husband will be waiting at the altar.”
****************************
Ryou removed the boutonniere from the box. “I found this and thought it would be a terrific addition to your suit.”
Ryou pinned the red carnation to Seto's tuxedo. The white-haired hikari smiled up at Seto. “Nervous?”
“Isn't it obvious?”
Ryou took Seto's hands. “Why are you nervous?”
“I'm marrying Joey. This is a big step.”
“But didn't you want to marry Joey?”
Seto squeezed Ryou's hands. “I do want to marry Joey. He means more to me than anyone else---.” Seto stopped and swallowed hard. He looked into Ryou's large brown eyes. “Ryou….I…..”
Ryou placed his finger gently on Seto's lips. “No….Seto. Don't say it. I know what you feel. I know you're worried about this changing things between you and Joey. But between us, Seto, nothing will change.”
Seto took a deep breath and leaned down, kissing Ryou on the lips gently. Ryou wrapped his arms around Seto's neck. Seto buried his face into the silky white hair.
The CEO pulled back from the kiss. “Angel….”
Ryou rested his head on Seto's chest. “We'll still remain the best of friends, Seto. I have no doubt about that.”
Seto held the white-haired man. “I'm glad, Ryou. You will always have a special place in my heart.”
Ryou kissed Seto's cheek. “You've always had a special place in my heart, Seto. I could never understand why. But today, you're going to marry Joey….and I wish you all the luck and blessings in the world.”
Seto took a deep breath. “Thanks, angel.”
The clock on the wall struck ten.
Ryou took Seto's hand. “Let's go, love. Time for you to start a new life.”
Seto swallowed hard with anxiety. `Am I doing the right thing?'
****************************
Bakura sat at the front of the church looking at the gold chalice on the altar and the golden candlesticks. “Hmm…If I had them back in Ancient Egypt, I would have been a very rich man indeed.”
Marik turned to Bakura. “Are you still obsessed with these ceremonial objects?”
“Are you obsessed about your Rod?”
“You leave my Rod out of this, Itemri!”
Malik gave the baby her pacifier. “Guys, this is a church! Act your age!”
Marik and Bakura looked at Malik. “If we were to act our ages, we'd be dead and turned to dust.”
Malik sighed. “Okay. Well, if you can't act your age, act civil.”
Bakura laughed loudly. “We're thieves and murderers, Malik! We aren't civil!”
“Then just….behave, okay? Awww…Lanie! Who's a wittle cutie baby?”
Asher sat in the front seat of the church, staring at the candles, his left eye twitching. “Candles….burn….well. Love…..fire….so…pretty!”
Maxine and her husband sat beside Asher. Maxine held Xiao Shen on her lap. “Asher, you behave yourself.”
“But candles…..burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrn…..”
Maxine sighed. “Yes, Asher, candles burn.”
Donny sat with Alice and his four children in a pew. “Asher, you be a good boy and I'll give you a pack of matches.”
Asher sat in the pew silent and still. “Yes, Donny.”
Joel and Alex talked between themselves. Karl and Jay were engrossed in their own discussion.
Robbie looked up at the murals of angels on the ceiling. Aten looked at the angels and cocked his head to the side.
“Those angels are pretty,” Aten said.
Robbie smiled and looked over at Aten. “They may be pretty, but I have the best angel of all of them.” Robbie took Aten's hand in his.
Umi leaned forward. “Nope, I have the prettiest angel,” Umi said putting his arm around Aria.
Aria smiled. “Oh, Umi!”
The organist began to play.
From the back of the church, Ryou and Seto walked arm in arm down the aisle. Ryou's white hair fell around his shoulders and his back. Both men wore identical tuxedos and matching red carnations on their jackets.
In front of them, Jaimen carried the ring box.
Ryou walked Seto to the altar and stood beside him.
Aten smiled as he saw his mother standing at the altar. He wanted his mother to do the same when he married Robbie. He wanted his mother to walk him down the aisle to his new life with his new husband.
When Seto and Ryou arrived at the altar. The priest gave Seto a reassuring grin. The music changed and Seto watched Joey appear at the other end of the aisle.
Yugi and Joey were walking arm-in-arm up the aisle. Joey's blond hair fell slightly in front of his face. In front of Yugi and Joey, Ivy and Lily were throwing rose petals onto the floor. The twin girls were dressed in long white dresses with flowers in their hair and pink ribbons.
Yugi brought Joey up to the altar and stood beside him.
Ivy and Lily turned their basket of flowers upside down at the front of the altar and skipped to the pew where their father sat.
Mokuba put them both on the pew.
“Did we wook pwetty, daddy?” the two girls asked their father.
“You sure did!” Mokuba said kissing them both.

From this moment
Life has begun

Seto reached out and took Joey's hands. Finally standing at the altar, they were both ready to take their relationship to its final stage….marriage.
Seto reached up and brushed the hair out of Joey's face, looking upon his new husband.

From this moment
You are the one
“You nervous, puppy?” Seto asked with a grin.
“You know, it's funny…twenty years ago, I would have socked you one for that remark.”
Seto snickered. “I've wanted to do this with you for a very long time, Joey. I've known for a long time that I've only wanted to be with you.”

Right beside you
is where I belong

Seto shifted his weight. “I can't imagine living my life with anyone else. I don't want to imagine my life without you. Since I brought you in from the streets….I have grown to love you with my heart and soul, Joey. You've done more than be my lover. You have been my friend. You have been there for me when I needed you the most. You have been my Rock. You have been my Salvation, Joey…my Light in a world of Darkness. I love you so much.”
Joey blushed. “I can't believe we're actually doing this….after all these years. It's like a dream.”
Seto shook his head. “This isn't a dream anymore, Joey….What we have here is real.”

From this moment on......
The priest stepped between the two men. “Dearly Beloved, we are here on this joyous occasion to witness the union of Joseph Wheeler and Seto Kaiba. If there be any person who gives a reason why this couple should not be wed, speak now or forever hold your peace.”
Donny reached for the revolver in his pocket and Alice slapped his hand.
“No, dear.”
Donny turned around and looked around the sea of faces. KaibaCorp stockholders were present as well as their families. The family was there and many of the KaibaCorp's employees were also filling the pews. It was a packed church and he knew the reception would be just as filled.

The priest had given his sermon and approached the men. “The rings, please…I have been told that the couple have written their own vows.”
Jaimen held up the ring box as Seto took the gold ring inscribed with the phrase `Forever My Angel.'
He slipped the ring onto Joey's finger.

From this moment
I have been blessed
Seto looked into the brown eyes of his lover. Seto had never been a religious man. He had abandoned the ways of faith long ago, and yet had wondered what being brought him together with this beautiful man.
“Joey….with this ring, I thee wed. I promise to love and serve you for the rest of our days. You have been my blessing….and you mean more to me than I could ever say.”

I live only
for your happiness
and for your love

“Joey, I want to see you happy. I want to make you happy. But most importantly, I want to love you the way that you deserve. I promise, Joey, to love you completely and to take care of you in sickness and in health.”

I'd give my last breath
From this moment on
“Till death do us part, puppy.”

I give my hand to you with all my heart
I can't wait to live my life with you
Joey took his ring and placed it on Seto's finger. Joey looked up into the sapphire gems of his lover. Where should he begin?
Seto took him into his home…gave him food, shelter, and clothing.
Seto had saved him from a life of poverty. If it weren't for Seto, he would have become an alcoholic like his father. He would be an incurable drunk like his father.
The CEO had given him a chance to have a family and someone who loved him.
“Seto, so much has happened since we first got together. But you've showed me that I wasn't a nobody. You've showed me what love and dedication are all about. Now that we're about to become husbands, I finally see what perfection is. You are exactly how I pictured someone I could love.”

I can't wait to start
you and I will never be apart
“We've been through a lot, Seto. Duelist Kingdom and Battle City changed us both for the better. I knew then that you'd be a big person in my life.” Joey laughed. “I never thought in Duelist Kingdom that you and I would be standin' here in front of a priest getting married! Funny, isn't it?”

My dreams
came true
because of you
“You've given me more than anyone else could ask for, Seto. And I promise to be your loyal puppy. You've shown me that I was worthy of love and acceptance. You showed me that happiness didn't come in the form of a liquor bottle. That was a lesson hard learned. Twenty years, I'm still learning it.”

From this moment
as long as i live
I will love you
I promise you this
There is nothing
I wouldn't give
from this moment on.....

”I promise to be the best husband that you could have, Seto. I love you so much, Seto….more than anyone could ever love another person.”

You're the reason I believe in love
And your the answer to my prayers from up above
Joey looked up at Seto with a smile. “I've prayed so long for this moment, Seto. I know you've never been too keen on the metaphysical stuff…and stuff you can't touch with your hands…but I prayed every night that we could do this. We already shared a physical bond, but this spiritual bond is as important, if not more, than just physical.”

All we need is just the two of us
My dreams
came true
because of you
Joey took Seto's hands and held them gently. “I bound my soul to yours for eternity, Seto Kaiba.”
The priest closed his prayer book. “Joseph Wheeler….Seto Kaiba, I now pronounce you spouse and spouse. You may now kiss your husband.”

From this moment
As long as I live
I will love you

Seto and Joey stepped close to each other and closed their eyes. Seto cupped Joey's face in his hands and leaned down.
“I love you, baby,” Seto whispered.
“I love you, too, Seto,” Joey whispered.
The two newlyweds kissed softly on their lips, their minds swooning with the feeling of their new life starting. Seto wrapped his arms around Joey, pulling the blond into a deep kiss.

I promise you this
There is nothing
I wouldn't give
From this moment i will love you
As long as i live
From this moment on......

Lily and Ivy squealed and clapped. “UNKIE PUPPY AND UNKIE SETO ARES MAWWIED!”
Ceres bounced in his seat. “AWW…DERE TISSING!”
Robbie grinned at Aten. “It won't be that much longer until that's us, Aten.”
Aten squeezed Robbie's hand. “Yup!”
“This place looks like a good place to get married. The priest obviously doesn't have a problem with gay marriage! What do you say, Aten? I think I've found a new church! This is so exciting! I can sing in the choir here, too! I'll have to talk to the priest. Come with me?”
Marik leaned over to Aten. “You can go, Aten. We'll wait for you. Traffic's going to be a real bitch getting out of here----OW!”
Malik slapped Marik on the back of the head. “This is a church! No cursing!”
Marik rubbed the back of his head grumbling.
Joey and Seto walked down the aisle and the crowd began to disperse.
Robbie and Aten walked to the priest. “Hello, sir, umm….my name is Robbie Allan Morgan and this is my fiancé, Aten Bakari Ishtar.”
“Ahlan.” (Hello.)
The priest raised his eye to Aten. “You're not from around here, are you?”
“My family…well…my father is from Egypt. My mother is from England.”
“Oh. Interesting Combination. What can I do for you boys?”
Robbie leaned on Aten as he steadied himself with his new cane. “Father, I would like to ask you to perform our wedding ceremony.”
“I wouldn't mind. I'd be delighted. You boys sound…nervous.”
“It's just…I asked my old priest to do it and he refused.”
The man raised an eyebrow. “Who was it?”
“Father Vidello.”
The priest groaned. “Oh, yes….Father Vidello…..well, boys, if he won't perform your ceremony, I'll be happy to oblige. When were you planning this?”
Robbie and Aten exchanged glances. “Actually, in the next couple of weeks.”
“Wow…lots of planning. Are you both Christian?”
Aten shook his head and held up his Ankh necklace. “I am pagan and worship Egyptian gods. But, Robbie has been teaching me his religion and those of many other faiths.”
“Well, that saves us time,” the man said. “Well, try to come in sometime this week and we'll discuss the particulars.”
Robbie's eyes lit up with joy. “Really? You'll marry us?”
“I'll marry the two of you, yes.”
Robbie smiled. “Could…could I join the choir here? I love to sing and I've been missing it. Vidello kicked me out of my old church and since then I haven't sang at all.”
“Sure you may join our choir, son. We have a few gay choir members. Everyone is welcome here regardless of sexual orientation. Feel free to join your friend here,” the priest added to Aten.
Aten smiled. “Thank you for the offer.”
“Boys, come on!” Miranda called after the two.
“Sanya waHida!” (Just a second!)
Robbie took Aten's hand. “Thank you, Father! I was really hoping to find some place that would marry us.”
“No problem, my child. Just come in with your intended and we will begin preparation.”
“Thank you!” Robbie said, shaking the priest's hand.
“Thank you,” Aten added.
Aten and Robbie walked towards Miranda.
“There we go, Aten! All we have to do is a little preparation and we'll be all set to get married!”
Aten snickered. “Preparation is fun.”
Robbie groaned as he hobbled beside Aten. “You're just like your dad…and that's scary.”
Aten snickered. “Don't tell me you didn't enjoy it.”
Robbie snickered. “I'm innocent.”
Aten snickered. “Not anymore.”
Robbie playfully slapped Aten's arm. “I take that back…you're worse than your dad.”
“That's not a bad thing,” Aten said with a smile.
“What am I going to do with you?”
“Love me forever?”
“Forever, Aten.”
****************************
Seto and Joey stood at the Kaiba Summer Home gate greeting their guests. Joey shook Alice's hand and smiled at her.
“It's great that you and Donny were able to come! Thank you!”
Alice smiled at the blond. “It's our pleasure, Joey. It was a lovely ceremony.”
Donny looked around. “Where is Hayden, Mr. Kaiba? He wasn't at the ceremony.”
“The doctors say he's not safe enough to be out of the asylum.”
Donny sighed. “My condolences. I'll get the family settled and then I'll get to my patrols.”
“Go on, Don. Get your kids some food over by the patio.”
Jay and Karl approached Seto. “Do you want us to stand guard in the front, Mr. Kaiba?”
“Donny will tell you where to go, guys.”
Three men in black suits approached Seto and spoke with heavy Italian and broken English.
“Kaikyo, what are you doing here?” Seto asked.
“Mr. Kaiba, we have been asked by Lord Marik to keep guard during this wedding reception,” the Japanese man said.
“Our Lord Marik has also told us to watch this place like a hawk,” the Italian man said.
Marik walked over to the gate. “Kaikyo and Isawa….nice to see you arrived.”
The men bowed. “Greetings, Master Marik.”
“Tell your men to secure the perimeter.”
“Yes, sir.”
The men left and Marik grinned.
“Good job, Marik. I knew I could put you in charge of the security.”
Robbie and Aten sat at one of the picnic tables watching the children chase each other. Robbie rested his cane against his leg. “It's the perfect day for a wedding,” he said. “It's so beautiful out!”
“Yeah, it sure is! What kind of reception do you think we oughta have?”
Robbie scratched his head. “I'm not sure. I never actually thought of that.”
Aten gasped. “You haven't thought of food? You feeling okay?”
Robbie shook his head. “Hey, I'm a good weight! I just…happen to have a really good metabolism!”
“Well, these celery sticks with dip are really good! You should try one.”
Robbie took a celery stick and nibbled on it. “It is good. We'll have to discuss what we want to serve at our reception.”
Glenn touched the material on the tablecloth. “Otogi, you did such a great job on the colors!”
Tristan, still with his arm in a sling, stood by his lover. “You really did a good job, Otogi.”
Otogi blushed. “Aww….you guys are so great! I worked so hard!”
Tristan put his arm around Otogi and kissed him. “We know you did, and the work was so worth it!”
Miranda and the women surrounded Aria and Kailani. They held the laughing baby and rocked her.
“Aria, she's so adorable!”
“She my little girl!”
“She doesn't look like Umi. Wow…it looks like she was born with a little bit of hair!” Alice said.
Aria tried to manage a smile. A very thin layer of blonde hair was formed on the baby's scalp.
“No, she didn't get her hair from Umi, that's for sure.”
Aria looked over at Umi at the snack table. She smiled slightly as she watched him.
Ceres and Xiao Shen chased each other around the front lawn. Lily counted behind a tree and came out looking for her missing twin.
Ceres tagged Xiao Shen and the little boy laughed. “You're next, Tao-Ten!”
Xiao Shen giggled. “That's said `Xiao-Shen.'”
The two boys heard a loud rumbling coming down the street. The loud engine roared down the street.
Xiao-Shen and Ceres turned towards the gate. “What's that noise?”
