After their little fiasco, Kaiba, was absolutely certain. “Joey I have something to ask you…you may want to have another drink.” Joey took another swig.

 

“Dis how's?” Joey asked.

 

“Yeah, that's perfect.” Kaiba, got on one knee and presented him with a little box. “Joey, will you…” He opened the box to reveal a diamond ring. “Be my life partner?”

 

“In crime?”

 

“Joey, put on the fucking ring.”

 

“Kay.” Joey naively slid the ring on his finger. Kaiba broke out into evil laughter.

 

*One hour later*

 

Everyone was there the maid of honor was Tea, Mai and Joey's sister. The best man was Yugi and the other guys were Tristan and Bakura. Mokuba wanted to be the ring bearer but big brother said the position had already been filled so he settled with flower girl. “Once I find out who the ring bearer is.” Mokuba growled in his fluffy pink dress. “I'll kick his butt.” A little girl with blonde hair and a teddy bear wearing a tux waved at him.

 

“Hey Mokuba, Mr. Kaiba insisted on me being ring bearer.” She said.

 

“…Why?” When the ceremony started they both had to keep Joey from falling down or wandering off. When they managed to get to the alter Kaiba snatched the bottle out of Joey's grasp. Malik stole it from kaiba and took a swig and imidiately spit it out.

 

“Sparkling Cider?” He asked.

 

“What?” Joey asked but Kaiba hushed him. The preacher began the ceremony. Blah blah blah.

 

“-Speak now or forever hold your peace.” Someone kicked open the door.

 

“I object!” He shouted dramatically. Everyone turned to the police officer rushing into the church and shooting two bullet holes into the ceiling. “We have the church surrounded. Everyone. To the floor. now!”

 

“Lets see that permit.” Kaiba said smirking.

 

“Discrimination is my permit.”

 

“You win this round.” Yugi transformed into his yami.

 

“Fear not Kaiba and Joe.” He said valiantly. “Love is no match for the law but perhaps card games are.”

 

“Keep talking.” Police officer said.

 

“If I win we go on with the ceremony if you win we call it off.”

 

“Deal. Haha sucker.”

 

*One minute later*

 

“You may kiss.” And they both shared there first chaste, honest, loving kiss.

 

*The next day*

 

“Ah, man I was so drunk last night. Did we… did we get married?” Joey asked

 

“I don't know I was drunk too.” Kaiba lied.

 

And they lived happily ever after.
