{IT'S PARTY TIME!!!! Note: This will probably turn into a multi-part chapter... *rolls eyes at herself* By the way, the chapter doesn't open with the party, and it's kinda weird... O.o ...you'll see what I mean...

Unknown Person 1: "Well?" *bored look*

Unknown Person 2: "A party." *looks slightly scared*

UK1: "For?" *interested look*

UK2: "Halloween." *no change*

UK1: "Riiiight..." *goes back to looking bored*

UK2: "I've heard rumor that it's also for his birthday." *blinks hopefully*

UK1: "Really?" *perks up*

UK2: "It's today." *nervously wrings hands together*

UK1: "Oh, this is too perfect..." *a cruel smile*

BACK IN THE NORMAL POV

~~^*NOW'S the party!!!*^~~

"He's upstairs with Noa-niisan and Seth." Mokuba mumbled when the pharaoh asked about the elder Kaiba. "They're trying to keep him busy, so he doesn't see the gifts."

"Riiiight..." Jyou rolled his eyes. Honda smacked the back of his head lightly, causing the dog head to fall down over the blonde's eyes. "HEY!! Honda! You ass!!" He pushed the head back up and turned on his vampire friend.

"Vut?" Honda blinked, trying an innocent look, and a fake Dracula impression, at the same time.

"Best run for it." Otogi, in his large green die costume, suggested to his boyfriend. "I don't think he's buying your innocent act."

"Better listen to him." Jyou growled.

"You sound like you're dressed." Seto's cold voice floated over to them.

"Wow..." Yuugi blinked up at the brunette, his fellow servant, and their master. As he looked up, Yuugi's headband for his Egyptian prince costume fell off and landed at the feet of the properly-dressed pharaoh next to him.

Yami picked the gold up and placed it back on Yuugi's head. "Be careful with that, aibou." He mumbled, then looked at the priest and his servants again. "Nice. You almost look better than me." He said with a smirk.

"Vain little-" Seth started, but was cut off by Seto's hand over his mouth.

"What did I tell you ?!?!" Seto shouted.

Seth rolled his eyes while the others laughed. Bakura's eyes seemed to sparkle beneath his thieving cloak's hood. "The priest is getting ordered around by his servant! That's new!"

Seth and Seto both turned their glare on the thief. "You, I'll set him loose on." Seto warned.

Ryou laughed at his yami and the two of the Rod. His own albino hair had been brushed till it shown and then pulled back, so one could see the elfin ears that went with his elf costume. "Baku, I warned you they would gang up on you if you didn't stop screwing around." The hikari said sternly.

The innocent one's word choice sent the room into laughter again. "What were you thinking, teaching your hikari words like that?" Noa turned on the albino yami. "You should be ashamed."

"So, Baku does the screwing?" Seto asked lightly.

"YOU DAMN SLAVE!!!!!" Bakura shouted.

"Touch him, and I'll have you sent to the dungeons." Seth warned when Bakura made an advance towards the CEO.

"Are we having an RPG here, or a party?" Shizuka grumbled. Her pink princess gown swished around her form as she turned from the group. "I'm going to go get some food."

"I'll come with you!" Honda offered, following the brunette girl.

"Touch her and I'll have your head, Dracula!" Jyou shouted.

"Oh, don't worry about Honda." Otogi mumbled. "He's got someone."

Jyou narrowed his eyes at the die-boy. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Stupid, or blind. Take your pick." Seto said lightly, following the vampire and princess to the food table.

"Look at me! Look at me!" A brown fur-ball hopped in, followed by Kukkî, as her name. Hama flipped the head back on his bunny costume to smile at the other guests.

"Come here." Seto knelt down as far as his costume would allow and picked the little bunny up. "Well, aren't you just the cutest thing."

"I know something cuter!" Hama giggled.

Noa paled while Seth sighed. The other three that knew about the two kittens in the game room grinned. Seto looked confused. "What might that be?" He asked the boy in his arms, not seeing the looks on his boyfriends' faces.

Hama pulled Bast from his costume. The kitten mewed up at her new master. "Isn't she kawaii!!" Hama giggled.

Seto's eyes widened and he put the boy down to take the kitten. "Oh... Wow..."

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" Everyone shouted suddenly.

Seto hugged the kitten lightly and looked around at his friends and family. "I should kill the lot of you." He whispered, tears in his eyes.

"Now, if you do that, you won't get the rest of your gifts!!" Mokuba pointed out.

Seto sighed and rolled his eyes. "Riiiight..."

"Come on!" Hama grabbed Seto's hand like an energetic three-year-old, and started towards the game room.

The group followed the two boys, Seth and Noa hurrying to catch up to Seto. Seth took the kitten and hugged it lightly. "Hi, Bast!" He smiled brightly.

Seto looked at Noa questioningly. "It's not sugar." Noa shrugged, answering the unspoken question. "He just keeps acting like that around Bast and Az-" Seth's hand over his mouth cut the teen off.

Seto narrowed his eyes at the two. "Az?"

"Mew." The little brown and white cat answered as they entered the game room.

"Err... Azrial... Hai..." Noa mumbled under his breath as he stooped to pick the kitten up. "Here. He's the other part of our gift to you." He gave the yami of the Rod a dirty look. "Give Tenshi-chan back his kitten, Hogosha-chan." He ordered.

"Aw..." Seth pulled a pout on his hikari. "Can't I hold her just a little bit longer?" He whined.

Seto rolled his eyes. "Hai, hai..."

"Yay! Thank you, hikari!!" The yami hopped over to get one of the cat toys.

Seto giggled behind his hand while the others that were in the room laughed. "Seth, you're acting ridiculous!" Seto called. Seth either didn't hear, or ignored the comment, and started playing with the kitten and the little white mouse he'd pulled out.

"Sit." Yami forced the birthday boy into the chair Honda and Jyou had pulled up. Then the pharaoh placed a birthday crown on Seto's head. "There."

"It looks odd." Yuugi complained.

"I say kitten boy over there should be wearing the servant costume." Bakura mumbled under his breath.

Noa grabbed the Rod from wear Seth had tucked it into his pants. "I agree."

"Hey! Noa, give that back!!" Seth cried, depositing Bast on Seto's lap, and starting to chase the shorter boy around the room.

"How do you work this thing?!" Noa complained as everyone cracked up at the sight of the High Priest chasing his servant.

Seto pulled out his own version of the Rod. "Noa-chan, we already told you, you can't work these things." He said. Then he concentrated on his Rod.

There was a bright flash. When it cleared, Seto sat in the chair, kittens in his lap, in the priest costume, minus the evil hat. Seth was on the floor with Noa, having jumped the boy to get his Item back. "YAH!! SETO!!!" Seth shouted, giving his hikari a dirty look when he realized what he was wearing.

"Really, Seth, what are you teaching those two?" Bakura asked, smirking at the yami on the floor.

"Damned thief." Seth growled, getting to his feet in annoyance. Then he helped Noa up. "That was rude."

"It is Tenshi-chan's birthday." Noa pointed out innocently.

"Presents!!!" Mokuba shouted. The room silenced and the youngest Kaiba picked up a little gift bag. He handed it to Seto. "This is from Hirla and me." He said happily.

Seto nodded and opened it calmly. Inside were three earrings. One was a angel, another a scarab, and the third a shield. "Wow..." Seto blinked up at his little brother and his friend.

"I thought you'd look good with an ear piercing." Hirla shrugged. "And Moku suggested that we get those three earrings custom made. I assume you could all three get an ear pierced. The earrings do match your nicknames."

Seto looked up at his two boyfriends. Seth shrugged, not really caring. Noa grinned. "I think that's a great idea!" The shortest of the triangle said happily. Seto nodded and hugged the two who had given him the gift, without getting up and moving the two kittens in his lap, that is.

Yuugi grabbed a small card box from the pile of gifts that the group had made while the birthday boy had been upstairs, and handed it to Seto. "This is from Yami, Sofu, and me. Sofu says it's his `thank you' for all the protection as of late." The boy mumbled, moving back over to Yami's side.

Seto opened the box and gaped at the card inside. "But..." He pulled out the fourth, ripped, Blue-Eyes White Dragon card.

"Sugoroku got it from a close friend of his a long time ago." Yami said calmly. "He said he felt he should pass it on to one who was, not only a friend, but a protector, much like his favorite Duel Monster." The pharaoh smiled slightly. "I remember commenting that you had a temper much like the Blue-Eyes as well."

"Good point." Bakura said, bringing over a fairly large box and handing it to the CEO. "This is from Ryou and me."

"It was all Baku's idea!" Ryou claimed. Bakura rolled his eyes.

Seto pulled off the wrapping paper. "At least we know who wrapped it." He mumbled. "It's too neat for Baku." The thief gave the teen a dirty look and crossed his arms over his chest, which got him a smirk from the CEO. Then Seto looked at the gift, pulling off the box's top. "Whoa...." His eyes widened at the throwing knife set. There was a belt to keep the knives in with them, as well as a solution to clean them with.

"Bakura!!!" Seth glared at the thief angrily. "What are you thinking, giving my hikari something like that?!?!"

"Hogosha-chan." Seto put a hand on his yami's arm calmly. "These are useful, or will be. I would never throw the Rod, so it's not good for attacks from a distance, and I dislike guns. This is probably the best long-distance choice for weapons."

Seth narrowed his eyes at the thief, who returned the favor, then looked down at his hikari and sighed. "Fine."

Otogi brought over a new box. "I'm afraid Honda-chan and I didn't get you anything too extravagant. It was kinda last-minute, actually." He shrugged. "Moku-kun was part of the reason."

Seto opened the box, to find a Dungeon Dice Monsters starter set. It was the new one, which hadn't hit the shelves yet, and wasn't supposed to for another month or two. "I see..." Seto glanced up at Mokuba, who grinned. "I guess this means I actually have to play with you now, neh?"

"Un!" The black-haired kid said happily. Seto couldn't help but smile.

Shizuka handed Seto a small gift bag. "Anii said I should have gotten you something different." She said with a shrug.

Seto pulled out two vanilla-scented candles, two evergreen-scented candles, and a tropical punch-scented bath set. He smiled at the girl. "They're fine, Shizuka-kun." Then he looked at Jyou. "What about you, dog-boy?" He asked with a smirk.

Jyou spread his arms. "I'm going to allow you to make rude comments about my costume choice all day, without getting mad." He said.

Honda snorted. "In other words, he didn't have any money, or any idea, of what to get you."

Jyou glared at his friend. "Shove it, Honda."

"Ooh... I'm scared." Honda teased. "The big, bad dog is gonna bite me."

Jyou growled angrily. "I'm gonna do worse than bite you!"

"Anii!" Shizuka grabbed Jyou's arm, her eyes wide. "Don't!"

"Honda-chan, yamero." Otogi begged.

"Knock it off, you two." Kukkî ordered, bringing over a small, rectangular present. The two boys mumbled `Gomen' to each other and bowed their heads. Kukkî handed Seto the present as the teen rose an eyebrow at her questioningly. Kukkî ruffled his hair with a fond smile. "I already taught those two that I'm to be listened to." She explained.

Seto grinned. "I see. I think I have a few ideas as to how you pulled that off." Kukkî just winked. Seto chuckled to himself and opened the gift. His eyes widened when he saw it. "Kukkî..." He breathed, looking up at her with a surprised look in his blue eyes.

"I got it off my parents this past week." Kukkî said with a light smile.

"What is it?" Mokuba asked, trying to get a good look at the picture.

Seto showed him. "It's a picture Haha, Papa, and I had taken while Haha was pregnant with you." He mumbled. "I could never find the copy Papa kept. I think he had it with him when he died." Seto bit his lip. "Arigatou, Kukkî."

Kukkî smiled and hugged him lightly. "Do itashimashite, Seto-chan."

Hama hopped over to Seto. "Seto-san?"

Seto placed the picture with his other gifts and smiled at the boy. "Nani, Hama-kun?"

For some odd reason, Azrial and Bast decided to get off Seto's lap. Bast, being the last off, looked up at Hama. "Mrowr." She said, as if giving him permission to do something.

Hama smiled. "Arigatou." Then he turned to Seto and hugged him tightly. "Happy birthday, Seto-san!"

Seto smiled and hugged the boy back. "Arigatou." He looked up. "To all of you."

~~A/N: Presents are, pretty much, over. Next chapter; CAKE!!! Pretty much, the food and idle chit-chat. Then we'll get to dancing and music. If someone wants to send Seto a present, tell me in a review, and I'll find a way to fit it into the story!! (I should send him something... ^_~)

Spooky thing, I've finished this part on MY birthday!!! Happy birthday to me!!! YAY!!! I am officially 16!!! *winks* And I finally get my scanner!!! HURRAY!!! I should have a few more piccys up for you by the end of the day!!

To make me even happier, I learned that one of my short-stories(it's not up on the web) is going to be published in my school literary magazine!!! YAY!! If it had been just a little better, I might have won the contest, but I didn't, so I didn't. *shrugs* Oh well... It's enough knowing that I accomplished something!!!

DSD, hum... Well, my notes have the name spelled Bast. I know there are various spellings for the Egyptian gods and goddesses... It may be that there are two spellings for Bast/Baset. I got Bast out of a reference book at my public library. *shrugs* Whatever. Thanks for pointing that out, though!!
