A Rainy Day

It was a few days since Erika learned about her ancient past. She and Yami told Yugi everything they learned back when they got home. However, Yami did most of the talking. Erika was so upset that all she could do was stare at the rug in the room. When Yami was done Yugi some how had more answers that Ishizu or Marik did.

"I get it. Yami the reason you felt like you knew Erika from somewhere before was because was your queen. And Erika the reason you and Kabia are great friends is because you were the only one who could control him when he was the sorcerer. However, I still don't get how Marik fits in. I mean it's not like Erika met him in Egypt or anything. Anyway some mysteries about your past have been answered Yami as well as some of you past Erika," said Yugi thoughtfully.

"That doesn't matter anymore Yugi," Erika finally spoke.

"What?" Yugi was really surprised. All Erika wanted to know was her ancient past and now she couldn't give a damn.

"You heard me. I'm afraid of my past. This is to much to ask for," Erika began to cry. Tears of fear rolled down her soft cheeks.

Yami who was now back in the puzzle bent down to Erika. He took his hands and dried her tears then held her hands. "Erika I have only just meet you but I can sense that you want to know more even though you deny it. I know that you may fall in love easy, I know that you are afraid, I know that you are upset. But Erika you must follow your destiny. And even though we may not know that that is yet I know what you should do, follow your heart and don't listen to anything else," Yami was very close to Erika now. He never in his whole life wanted to kiss some one. All Yami could think about was kissing those soft lips, those soft smooth lips, those soft smooth pink lips. He wanted her so badly and only knew her for a day.

Erika would have pulled her hands away if it was a different situation but all she could do was stare into Yami's swornful, devoted, loving, caring eyes. Erika didn't know it yet but, she was falling in love with King Yami, the pharaoh from 5 thousand years ago.

"Thanks Yami," Erika finally said. "I really need that. And Yugi what you said was true. But now that I know I have you and Yami to help me I know that I'll feel much better about what comes next."

"That's right Erika," Yugi had his Duel Monsters face on. "We will always be here for you because where your friends and together there is nothing we can't do."

"Exactly," smiled Yami. "We are here for you. Together we will solve the mysteries of my past and yours as well."

What Yugi and Yami said made Erika smile. It was perfect until.the phone rang.

"Erika it's for you," yelled Grandpa.

"I got it," yelled Erika. She knew it was either Seto or Ishizu. "Hello?" she asked with uncertainty.

"Hey Erika," it was Seto.

"Oh Hey wassup?" "Nothing I was just wondering if you would like to go for a walk with me tomorrow?" asked Seto.

He didn't have to ask twice. Erika immediately said yes. Then they agreed on a time and said good-bye. When they hung up Yugi had a disapproving look on his face.

"What?" asked Erika. She was confused.

"It's nothing but I have a surprise for you and I realized that we should have been downstairs half an hour ago," said Yugi now with a smile.

"Oh," said Erika.

Yugi put a blind fold around Erika's eyes. Then Yugi grabbed her arm and took her downstairs. Erika didn't know but Yugi invited all his friends to meet Erika. He knew that Erika didn't have and friends besides Seto and he knew that she wanted more so without telling Erika, Yugi and Yami secretly called Joey, Tristen, Tea, Bakura, Mai, Serenity, and Duke Devlin for a little party.

"Just a little further," said Yugi.

"Ow, Tea you stepped on my foot," yelled an unusual voice.

"Oh great job Joey you ruined the surprise," said Tea. "Besides it's dark down here I can't see a thing."

"You both ruined it know give it a rest," came another voice.

"Tristen you stay out of this you're just lucky I'm letting you date Serenity," yelled Joey.

"Joey that was my choice. I could have dated Duke but I love Tristen," came Serenity's voice.

"That's right besides. I realized that I don't have time for a relationship just now, my game shop is important right now," said Duke.

"Oh shut up all of you. Yugi counted on use to make a surprise for Erika and now we blew it," said Mai.

"Mai has a point. We let Yugi down," replied Bakura.

"Guys would you stop arguing," Yugi turned on the lights and toke Erika's blindfold off. "Well, surprise Erika. I was hoping to give you a surprise party so that you could meet my friends. Oh well."

"Yugi don't say that. This is a great party. Thank you," Erika said hugging her brother.

It was a great party. Erika became friends with everyone real fast. However, Joey and Duke didn't like Erika, the loved her. If she wasn't there Duke and Joey would probably be fighting over her. So the kept their mouths shut and waited for a time when they could talk to Yugi. So after about an hour, Erika and Tristen are talking about who knows what Mai and Bakura talk about Duel Monsters. Tea and Serenity begin talking about the usual girl stuff. And Yugi's out on his own. Both Joey and Duke silently agree to talk to Yugi.

"Hey Yugi, could we talk to you for a minute?" asked Duke.

"Sure guys, wassup?" asked Yugi.

"We want to talk to ya about Erika," said Joey.

"What about her?" Yugi asked again.

"Well...erm...ah," stuttered Joey.

"If you don't say it I will," yelled Duke.

"Okay, okay," Joey was a bit pissed off. "Yugi does Erika like well like anyone because Duke and I were wondering since we kinda both like her. Ya get what I'm sayin?"

Yugi couldn't have been less surprised. He was hoping that Joey at least would fall for Erika but he wasn't expecting Duke. To tell you the truth, Yugi started to laugh at what Joey just said.

"I told that we shouldn't have told him," said Duke.

"You it was me who told you that we should tell him," argued Joey.

"Stop it," laughed Yugi. "I'm sorry but it's funny. I thought Joey would fall for Erika but I wasn't expecting Duke and when I found out I was right I couldn't help but laugh."

"Oh," said Joey.

"So does she like anyone or not?" asked Duke.

"I'm not sure," said Yugi truthfully. He had not idea that Erika was in love with Seto and beginning to fall in love with Yami.

"Do you think that she would like to go somewhere with me tomorrow?" asked Joey.

"Or me?" asked Duke, pushing Joey out of the way.

"Sorry guys but Erika already made arrangements with someone?"

"Who?" asked Joey.

Yugi stared into his drink. "Kabia," he said.

"KABIA?" hollered Duke and Joey in unison.

Everyone looked over to where Duke, Joey, and Yugi were. Bakura was on shock. Mai dropped her cup. Serenity and Tea both put their hands to their mouths. Tristen and Erika stopped talking. Everything was silent, that is until a.THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! Erika came stomping over. She knew what her brother, Duke, and Joey were talking about.

"YES! KABIA!," yelled Erika. "What do you all have against Seto? There is more to him than what meets the eye. Why when he and I were growing up in that orphanage he was my first friend. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was alone a Seto came up to me and said, 'Would you like to play with my brother and me? I'm Seto. Who are you?' And he said it with a smile on his face. Seto taught me a lot when he became my friend. And if you must know I love him. Yes I admit it. I LOVE SETO KABIA!" With tears in her eyes, Erika runs upstairs and to her room.

Everyone was silent. They never thought that someone would ever fall in love with Seto. In fact, they didn't even think that he had a sensitive side.

"Now look what you did! If you two could keep your big mouths shut for once then maybe this wouldn't have happened!" yelled Tristen.

"Yeah way to go," said Tea. "I'll call you later Yugi." And Tea left in disgust.

"Tell Erika I'm sorry for what happened today," said Tristen and he too left.

"See ya Yugi," Mai waved good-bye.

"I'll give you guys a call later," said Bakura. He looked up the stairs hoping that Erika would come back down before he left.

"I'm going home Yugi. I have to get to bed anyway. See you at home Joey," and Serenity left.

"Yugi, I'm sorry. I wasn't thinkin," Joey bowed his head in shame. "Erika's got a point. We don't even know Kabia. I'll go home. Tell Erika that she's right and dat I'm sorry for what I did. Thanks bud." With his hands in his pockets and his head lowered in shame, Joey left in silence.

"Yugi, I was wrong. Again I thought I could win a girl over with my looks. Damn why am I like that? Anyway I sorry. Tell Erika that too, and that I wish I could make it up to her," and Duke too walked the walk of shame.

Yugi was okay with his friends apologies, but he wasn't sure if Erika would be. So that night he told Grandpa what happened and agreed to let Yugi sleep on the couch. Both Yugi and Grandpa knew that they should leave Erika alone. At least until tomorrow.


~FLASHBACK~

"Moki, do you mind if I ask her to come and play with us?" asked 11 year old Seto Kabia pointing to a corner in which a girl was sitting in..

"Not at all Seto. But I thought you were the one that said we were on our own now," said a 5 year old Mokuba.

"Yes it is true that I said that but when she first came she sat on the same swing you first did," explained Seto. "Ant it made me wonder if she was like us."

"Oh, okay," said Mokuba.

Seto got out of his chair and walked over to the corner where a 10 year old Erika Motto was sitting.

"Hi I'm Seto. Would you like to play with my brother and me?" he asked with a big smile on his face and his hand out for Erika to reach.

Erika was so happy. She was beginning to wonder if she was meant to have any friends. "Sure. I'm Erika Motto." Erika reached for Seto's hand. It was the start of a beautiful friendship and first loves'.

~FLASHBACK~

Erika woke early in the morning and took a shower for she hoped to spend all day with Seto. When she got out of the shower, she made sure to dress comfortably. In the end she put on a tank top and jean bellbottoms. Last but not least a silver necklace with a rose that had a diamond in it. Seto gave it to her the day she moved away. When she was done she walked down the steps and had a little breakfast. She was hoping to eat alone but she didn't. Yugi came in with a slight frown on.

"What's up Yug?" asked Erika.

"I have to stay in today and help Grandpa run the shop. So Yami can't get any fresh air today," said Yugi. Then he had an idea. "Unless you wear him today."

"When I'm with Seto?" asked Erika as though she couldn't believe her ears.

"Just this once. Please," pleaded Yugi on his knees.

"Get up Yugi. I cant stand people who plead. Okay just this once," said Erika.

"Thanks Eri," said Yugi as he handed her the Millenium Puzzle.

"No prob.," said Erika as she put the puzzle on. Just like the time Yugi first put on the puzzle, Erika became one with it. She too had the Millenium symbol on her forehead. Yugi smiled at this. It was though he wanted that this to happen but didn't say a thing.

"Well I better get going Yugi," said Erika now standing up. "Bye."

"See ya sis."

Erika left the game shop in silence. She took the bus to get to Seto's place for that's where they agreed to meet. It was even more silent on the bus. Erika wished that one of her new friends was with her and she was afraid to talk to Yami in public. So she just looked out the window and waited for the Kabia Corp. building. When she got there she was surprised to see Seto waiting for her.

"Ready?" asked Seto. Even though it was an unusually warm day, Seto was wearing green pants, a matching green shirt, and Kabia Corp. belt, and a blue jacket. Erika didn't question it, Seto always wore long sleeves, even when they were kids, expect on special occasions. And like always Seto was carrying his silver brief case.

"Yes," said Erika with a smile. She loved being alone with Seto now that she knew about her past.

In silence, the two walked down the street to a near by park. It was beautiful. A shimmering lake, tall trees, a brick bridge, wooden benches, and animals all around. Erika couldn't have asked for a better day.

"So did you go to the museum yet?" asked Seto, not that he believed all that Ancient Egyptian junk.

"Yes. My past it quiet confusing and I don't really feel like talking about it right now," said Erika. She was still a bit upset about her past. "So what did you do with Mokuba?"

"I did the big brother thing and spent the entire day with him. Actually I needed a break and so did he. You see now that Mokuba is almost done with school he and I are now making Kabia Corp. a brother and brother business. So now we work together," explained Seto.

"Wow," smiled Erika. "I bet that's really nice."

"Yeah it is," Seto too smiled. "By the way why do you have Yugi's puzzle on?"

"Oh, you see Yugi is working in the shop today and he begged me to take it so that the puzzle wouldn't get any dust on it," Erika lied about Yami to Seto so that she could protect their relationship.

"Did he beg on his knees?" Seto asked as though he already knew the answer.

Erika and Seto were now on the brick bridge. "Yes." Erika and Seto began laughing. They were laughing for so long that they didn't even notice the mean dark clouds covering the beautiful sky blue day. It wasn't until the ran began to fall until the two stopped.

The rain was hard, fast, and rude.

"Come to my place. It's the closest," said Seto as he took of his jacket so he and Erika could be protect by the rain.

No matter how fast they ran, no matter the fact that Seto's jacket was protecting them, no matter the fact that Kabia Corp. was close by, the two still got soaked.

"Oh dear," said Erika as they got inside.

"You better call your brother and tell him where you are," said Seto. "I don't think he would want you coming home in that mess."

Erika did as Seto suggested and called Yugi. She told him that she was safe and at Kabia Corp. and not to worry about her. Yugi was not satisfied, he hoped that Erika would be home to at least give the puzzle back to him but he didn't say a word.

When Erika was off the phone, Seto came in with a bathrobe, a couple of towels, and a brush. "Here why don't you go take a shower. While you were on the phone I took one, but I'm sorry to say that I don't have a change of clothes for you so you'll have to wait until they are cleaned," said Seto.

"Thanks Seto," said Erika.

In silence, Seto shows Erika to his room and the connect bathroom. He told her to stay clam and that he would be back in half an hour. And with that, Erika softly shut the door behind him. She took off her clothes and laid them over the sink next to Seto's wet clothes. Then she turned the water on and stepped in. She saw many shampoos until she found a nice herbal one. Erika then slowly washed her hair, taking in every last smell of the shampoo.

Slowly, Erika washed out the shampoo. She then found a sponge on the wall and a bar of soap. She carefully washed her smooth legs, her thin body, her precious breasts, and her soft arms.

Erika washed off her body, turned of the water, and stepped out of the shower. Slowly she dried her body off and rapped herself in the robe Seto gave her. She then took the brush and began to brush her long strait hair, so that she would have no knots.

"I'm back," came Seto's voice. "Mokuba just needed a little help with something. Anyway he's going to be working for a little while."

"What time is it?" asked Erika.

"Almost 8:30, you were in that shower for quite awhile. Are you okay?" asked Seto with a worried voice.

"Yes I just took my time that's all," said Erika. She put her necklace back on and put the Millenium Puzzle on a chair.

"Is that the necklace I gave you?" asked Seto as he took off his shoes and laid down in his bed. However, he didn't put the covers over him.

"Yes," smiled Erika as she went to lay down next to Seto. Once again she put her head on his shoulder. And once again Seto put his arm around her.

However, this was different then the time Erika fell asleep on Seto. She moved her head up and slowly kissed Seto's soft lips. Then she lowered her head on to Seto's chest and began to sleep. Finally, Seto had his first kiss on the lips. He the kissed Erika's head before laying his head on her's. Little did Erika or Seto know but Yami saw the whole thing.
