IT’S TIME FOR THE TRUTH
Yami and Yugi were running to Kaiba’s mansion. They need to talk to him and Mokuba right away. When they got to the mansion, they found the Kaiba brothers sitting down in their living room.
“Yami, Yugi, please sit down,” Seto instructed.
Yami and Yugi did as told.
“So what do you want to know?” Mokuba asked.
“First we want to know what happened between you and Erika, Kaiba. We want to know what happened when she first left you all those years ago,” replied Yugi.
Seto sighed. Mokuba knew that it was hard for his brother to talk about this sort of thing. It had hurt the older Kaiba a lot.
“Seto, I could tell them,” whispered Mokuba.
“No Moki, I need to tell them. I have to finally admit it to myself so I can admit it to my heart and tell her how I feel. I must get this off my chest,” Seto said so that only Mokuba could hear him. It was also the first time in many years that Seto called his little brother by his old nickname.
“Alright,” replied Mokuba.
Seto looked at Yami then to Yugi. “First of all Yugi you must know how much I care about your sister,” he said.
“I do. I know how much you love her,” said Yugi.
“Good. Anyway, twelve years ago, just before I met you Yugi, Erika told me that she was moving away with her parents. So the day she left, I went to see her off. As a good-bye gift, I gave her a silver locket with a rose on it. Inside was a picture of me and her when we first met. At any rate, before she left, Erika gave me one final hug. As I watch her plane fly out of sight, I whispered , ‘Erika, I love you.’ Of course I didn’t have the courage to say it to her face. I was to afraid,” explained Seto.
“What were you afraid of? Even I can tell her I love her and I’m a 5000 year old pharaoh,” said Yami.
“Yami, you don’t understand. Seto can’t express his emotion of love the way you can,” yelled Mokuba.
“It’s true. I don’t know how to tell Erika how much I love her to her face,” said Seto. “And now she probably hates me.”
“No, she doesn’t,” yelled Yugi.
“How do you know?” Seto asked.
“I can see it in her eyes. Kaiba, she really does love you. I think she loves you more then she loves me,” said Yami.
“Are you sure?” asked Seto.
“Yes,” said Yugi and Yami.
(at the museum)
Erika broke away from the kiss that Marik gave her.
“I’m sorry,” she said. Everything was getting harder for her. She just couldn’t control her emotions.
“It was my fault,” said Marik.
Erika didn’t know what to say. She just stared into Marik’s eyes. “I have to go,” she finally said. She then ran out of the museum.
Marik just stared at her as she ran out.
“You love her don’t you?” asked Ishizu as she came out of then shadows after Erika left.
“Ishizu, I thought you were out,” said Marik.
“We were, but we snuck back in using the magic of my Millennium Key,” explained Shadi.
“But that’s not the point. Now answer your sister’s question,” replied Odeon.
“Yes I do love her. But she has Kaiba and Yami to deal with. I don’t want her to deal with me. I can’t tell her I love her,” said Marik.
“But she knows. She sees it in her eyes. And you can see that she loves you as well,” said Odeon.
“So where did you go anyway?” Marik asked changing the subject.
“To get the Millennium Bracelet,” said Shadi.
“We then took it to the Game Shop and gave it to Solemn Motto so he could give it to Erika,” said Ishizu.
“Then things are going to get even tougher for her,” replied Marik.
“Yes they are. And we can only hope that Erika will follow her destiny,” said Ishizu.

Erika was walking in the streets. She wasn’t paying attention to where she was going so she didn’t know where she was. But she had a good reason. She had a lot on her mind. Mainly Seto, Yami, and Marik. They all loved her and she loved all them. What was she to do?
“Hello there cutie,” said a voice from the shadows.
“Who’s there?” yelled Erika.
“Come here and you’ll see,” said the voice.
Erika slowly walked over to him. She was as cautious as a mouse and it did her no good. The man lifted up a metal pole and knocked Erika out.
Miles away from where Erika was, Yami, Seto, and Marik all felt something. They all felt something that was wrong and knew that something terrible had happened.
