'For once I can't give in I need some alone time' thought Joey "I can't tonight guys I really wanted to go check out Cavanaugh Park It's to nice to be cooped up in an old warehouse plus I hear the clubbies around here real freaks if you catch my Drift guys"

"Oh Joey your hopeless" said Ryou rolling his eyes

"You guys have fun okay if you need anything I have my cell and you guys do too right?!"

"Right, but were not leaving yet we still have some primping to do" said Ryou running his fingers through his hair.

"You guys may not be but I'm gonna go now and catch the last couple hours of daylight maybe watch the sunset" said Joey putting on his shoes

"Maybe meet a guy" Yugi said with a nudge and a wink

"yeah theres a big NO buddy"

"Oh I'm kidding you know that Joey" Yugi yelled after Joey as he walked out the door. The Park was only a couple blocks from the house. He had lied to his friends he had already been to this park a million times it's where he used to go play with his sister and mom before well you know his mom took Serenity and left Joey to live with his drunk dad. He and Serenity had found a secluded place to play where they would go when they were sick of playing cops and robbers or hide and go seek with the other kids. It was a perfect place to sit and think and not to far off the main park trails so it wouldn't be easy to get lost. But Joeys favorite part of his secret spot was the giant Oak tree that made the only shade. He and Serenity used to climb that tree and talk about all there big dreams who they missed from school, even their crazy aunt with the eye patch who Joeys still convinced is a pirate. That was just what the poor kid longed for someone to confide in to intrust all his deep dark secrets to and his friends they just wouldn't get it so he always keeps his feeling deep down where they couldn't hurt him. Maybe being consumed by the memories of his lost childhood would make the best Confidant of all.

Joey lay like this for almost a half hour thinking of his sister and their childhood, cut short, and long lost but not forgotten living out the song no shirt no shoes no problems (Joey always has hated shoes said the devil invented them or something and the less clothes the better is always something good to live by.) laying in the tall grass thinking didn't last to much longer though because he was soon interrupted by an extremly fast CLICK CLICK CLICKITY CLICK he looked around to see he was no longer alone in his secluded position he had been joined by a young man with brown hair and polar blue eyes in a blue business suit typing away at his laptop. Joey wanted to be alone but he figured he could stand a man who probally wouldn't talk to him if he tried to start a conversation. so he tried to go back to thinking keyword tried he just couldn't drown out the never ceasing clicking of the mans keys

"GRRR" Joey grumbled under his breath or not exactly under more like really really over cause the next thing he heard was the mans laptop closeing

"What are you some kind of dog laying in the grass growling" the man sighed slowly turning his full attention to Joey

"Huh? Oh why I oughta! who do you think you are!"

"I'm Seto Kaiba Ceo of Kaiba Corp. the biggest tech company in the world what about you puppy do you have a name or are you a stray"

"My names Joey Wheeler and I'm a man not a dog so I suggest you quit calling me a puppy before I..."

"Oh silly puppy" the man interupted causing Joey to growl in anger "come sit by me maybe I'll take you home I've always wanted a puppy"

"Damn it are you hitting on me or insulting me you raving lunatic" Joey grumbled under his breath as he sat next to the CEO

"What ever you want me to be doing pup" he whispered in Joeys ear before ruffling his hair "Come pup sit in my lap you can be my new pet."

"whatever your hot but could you stop with the puppy thing"

"yeah could but won't sorry Pup oh you look cold take my jacket I'll call the Limo you can home with me" wrapping his jacket around Joey he pulled out his cell phone and called for the limo.

While they walked up to the main trail Joey thought 'A fling is just what I need to get over my Garage band king and I'd say putting out those flames should be easy with this lunatic shooting glacier like stares at me. A one night stand with this guy should do me a lot of good soon the limo was there and as Seto helped his new Golden haired puppy in and as he did he thought ' wow I really like this kid and for some reason he really does reming me of a puppy a really cute puppy ok a damn Hot puppy and its always a plus to have a cute nickname for someone when they hate it cause its just always more fun when you get to piss someone off. hey and with a nickname like puppy maybe he'll start calling me master.. yeah I think I'll keep him around a while'
