chibifox: of course you are cuz you are the granddaughter of Jou and Mai! Well enough chatting we got to start the story-

Lexie: Finally she says the words i want to hear! As usual she does something crazy (Arashi running around the set, laughing from a sugar rush.) We might as well get Started.

#Lexie's pov#

The world is more different from the time when my grandparents and their friends were teenagers. Before I get carried away I better introduce myself. My name is Alexandria Mai Wheeler and I am the granddaughter of Joseph and Mai Wheeler. Sure I heard of the stories of how they met but the thing is I never met my grandfather and never been taught to duel. The thing is I remind my grandma to much of him because I got his temperament and hers of course but the my eyes are like his, the same honey-amber colored eyes that express what I really feel even if I can't say it out loud. I always try to ignore the teasing I get because I was never taught to duel and get scolded my by father telling to be like the others but I cant. It feels like there is something missing and the taboo in my family is to never say the card that my grandpa, Joey, uses its absolutely forbidden to say since he disappeared. Back to the story...

'What a wonderful day it is. To get teased by Seth again, that stupid little jerk that's Kaiba's grandkid,' I growled to myself. 'Times like these I wish my grandfather is still around.'-sighs. Once again walking from school to head to the game shop that a once been the hang out for Yugi and the gang.

“Lexie!”

I heard a shout behind me and turn to look to see it was my grandma, Mai. Her purple eyes having a hint of the pain of my not having Joey around for several years in her life is always obvious to me and not to my father , Jesse, my aunts Cassie and Molly and my uncle Mikey. She stilled looked some what the same as I seen in pictures, I felt a smile starting to form on my lips on seeing the sight of her. Of course she is my grandparent but in a way she's my friend that I can tell things to but never my truest wish which I know that pains her…why Joey disappeared and my doubts of him loving me and my dad, Cassie, Molly and Mikey.

“Hi grandma, are you heading to yugi's place also?” I asked.
“Of course, little one that's where the meeting is taking place” She answered.

The two of us continued on our way to the shop in a comfortable silence. I always tried to think about the things the others say about me mostly from Tristan and Duke. They are the worse because they say that I won't be able to be the best duelist because I never learned how to duel and being my grandfather's granddaughter.

On arriving to the store Yugi and the gang were outside waiting for us for the meeting about the sightings of the duelists going missing without a trace and no one cant find them. Usually the meetings were boring that i tune out whats going on but this one caught my interest as soon as Yugi said about the sighting of Red Eyes Black Dragon been seen around town. I heard my father gasp softly as he whispered to him. "Are you sure?" Yugi only nodded as he continued "I been trying to keep her way from that thing. I don't want my daughter to have to do with any thing about that card."

"Jesse look whats happening to you!?" Tea Screeched as everyone in the room was looking at my father.

He was slowly disappearing as i noticed my aunts and uncle as well as my cousins were disappearing. My grandmother gasped "Whatever is happening in this time period must also effect the past."

It took three hours for my family disappearing minus my grandmother who was crying and me trying to understand whats happening and way i didn't disappear as well.

Yugi was looking at me with a strange look as well as everyone in the room expect for Marik and Bakura the Yamis of Ryou and Malik for they knew of something.

"Why in the world you didn't disappear brat." growled Duke as all the girls in the room glared at him especially my grandma.

"I think its obvious you idiot. I can't believe you guys never figured it out" Laughed Bakura

"Enough 'kura, Joey did'nt want them to know that Lexie is his heiress to the lineage of continueing the line of dueling with red eyes." Marik glared at the baka.

"What do you mean by his Heiress??!" The gang yelled while i tried not to snicker the thing was i kinda figured it out on my seventh brithday. That was two years ago.

"Look the only way we will get Jes and the others if someone goes back in time to the period after the paharoh left us." Serenity said softly "But the thing is who is going to go because the power the two over there has is for one person."

"I'll go." I told eveyone

"But Lexie you are just a kid."

"This is my family you are talking about! Its my responsibility to get them back." I shouted on the top of my lungs.

"She's right" I heard my grandma say to Yugi. He seemed to agree with her on that matter.

"We don't mind to send Lexie to the time a little bit before the paharoh left to the after life." Marik said looking me in the eye as he and Bakura got ready to use their magic to send me back in time. He whispered to me so I could hear say before the light took me away from those i knew, "Good lucjk little one and have a good time being with your grandfather's past self." I felt myself smile as he said these words. The light became to blinding that i could not see anything anymore.
