Ryou sat there, pain grew on him. He winced and the guilt settled on his soul once again. Why? Why did he do that? Why not just drown himself in pain? Was it because he was strong enough to stand alone in the pain? No, he was far too weak, just like Bakura had said.

Flashback:

Ryou mentally slapped himself for being a fool to think Bakura was even interested. Suddenly, a hand was on his shoulder. He tried to ignore it as much as possible but it ended up slapping his back.

"Ouch! Malik! What'd you do that for?" Ryou asked innocently as he rubbed his back, while facing the 'innocent' Egyptian.

Malik smiled sadly and said, "I'll cut to the chase. Bakura loves Marik," and his eyes narrowed, "And Marik loves Bakura. And I thought we could both use some cheering up."

Ryou nodded, surprising enough, he didn't feel pain when Malik said Bakura's name. "Well let's go for a walk in this park then." Ryou smiled and agreed.

The park was empty and Ryou thought it was actually better that way. He and Malik were alike, both in love with their darker side, yet they had no chance.

Malik sighed and said, "So… how's your bond with Bakura?" Ryou winced and looked at his feet, afraid of the pain he suffered from losing Bakura.

"I'm not sure. He still think of me as nothing, and further more, he doesn't spend a lot of time in our house… so… I guess he still thinks of me as weak and pitiful as ever." Then Ryou stared at Malik, who had a strange look in his eyes. The one that said, "Same here."

They sat on a bench, tired of walking in circles. Malik stared at Ryou for a while and muttered the words; "You're beautiful." Ryou blinked at him in total surprise and shock. Malik blushed and shrugged. "Well, you are!" Ryou laughed it off and said, "Well… I wish Bakura thought that too." Ryou closed his eyes and thought of Bakura.

Suddenly, something pressed against Ryou's lips. It was Malik. Ryou tried to resist, but Malik had soft, warm, and tender lips, so Ryou soon gave in. Malik's head was soon swarmed with thoughts like, "Why am I doing this?" and "Why is he kissing back?" And it was all true. Ryou was enjoying every moment of this, but he knew this had to stop. So he pulled away, breathlessly.

They stared at each other for a while, and then Malik finally said, "I-I better get going now…" He was still a little bit shocked.

So Ryou sat there. The guilt settling down, almost as if were laughing and mocking the boy. Ryou sighed sadly and thought about why he had returned something he didn't ask for, but what was even more shocking, why did he enjoy it? But then again, how couldn't he enjoy it? It was his very first kiss, and oh! How soft Malik's lips were, he could've never imagined that!

Finally, Ryou got up and decided to go see Bakura, who was probably on the phone with Marik. Ever since Ryou taught Bakura what a phone was and how to use it, he's been calling Marik none stop!

Malik walked home silently, his cheeks were tingled red, but just a little bit! He didn't know why he did that, but it felt good! He thought Ryou was the kindest creature that mother earth had ever given. Ryou was earth's last angel.

Malik got home to and found Marik on the couch, reading some weird dark magic book. Isis was at work in the museum and so Malik and Marik were alone.

"You seen awfully tickled pink!" Marik teased at the tingles of red that spread on Malik's face. But he just said, "It's nothing!" And ran upstairs.

"Do I have feelings for Ryou too?" Malik sighed and slumped himself on his bed and stared outside his window, dreaming of an easier and less complicated life.

Ryou walked from the park to his house and didn't even notice it. He was too deep in thought to care about the outside world now. Now, he was afraid! What if he had feelings for Malik? How is he going to feel around Bakura?

As he walked into the house, he noticed Bakura wasn't on the phone with Marik. "Hi Bakura." Ever since Bakura had started going out with Marik, he had been kinder to Ryou, but still, Ryou thinks that Bakura sees him of nothing more than weak.

"Hello Ryou. I was a bit worried when you weren't here when I came back." Bakura glanced at Ryou, oh how innocent Ryou had looked.

He was worried? Ryou thought, as a spark of hope lit up in his eyes and his heart. But it was soon put out when Ryou told himself that he was still with Marik, no matter what.

"Oh, I was in the park, that's all." Ryou answered, meekly.

Bakura looked up at Ryou and that's when Ryou could see… tears? No, they couldn't be!

"Yami… are those tears?" Bakura gasped and touched his eyes and ran into the bathroom. Something had happened.

"Marik, do you want something to eat?" Malik asked from the kitchen while trying to make dinner.

"No, I'm fine. I just had a fight, that's all." Marik answered and continued, "I'm just going to go up to my room and think about it okay?"

"What? With who?" Malik called upstairs, wondering why Marik was so open today.

"Bakura… the little angels Yami…"
