Part two

Katsuya Jonouchi trembled lightly with anticipation as he stepped off of the plane and onto the boarding dock that led to Domino Airport. It had been an incredibly long time since he had set foot in Japan, and he couldn't wait to see everyone again…

" They found out about dad, " Katsuya stated, his back to his lover, " I have to go to America, stay with my Ma until I'm 21."

" You can come back after, right?" The deep, gravely voice of Katsuya's first love asked.

" Ma's dying…" He turned to look deeply into those crystalline blue eyes, "I have to care for Serenity."

" So, What are you saying, Katsuya?"

" Don't wait for me, Seto." Katsuya said softly. Tears welled in Seto Kaiba's eyes. Katsuya leaned over and placed a gentle kiss on Seto's lips, "I'll miss you, but we will see each other again, just, don't wait for me…" Katsuya couldn't say any more, tears welled in his eyes and a sob caught in his throat. He turned and ran.

" Jonouchi!" A cry pulled Katsuya from his memory. A short man with spiked hair jumped up and down to get his attention over all of the taller people in the airport. Katsuya smiled.

"Yuge!" Katsuya called back, rushing to his dear friend, "It's been forever! How've ya been, what's Yami up ta? Is he still around?" Katsuya then enveloped Yugi in a tight hug. A light chuckle broke them apart; Katsuya looked up to see Yami smiling playfully.

"Yes, I'm still around, Jonouchi," Yami stated, "Yugi and I have a date tonight as well."

" With Mokuba Kaiba," Yugi added, giggling at Katsuya's brief impression of a koi fish.

" Is he aware of this?" Katsuya asked, with a raised eyebrow.

"Perfectly aware." A voice to Katsuya's left said. Katsuya turned and grinned at the sight of a now grown Mokuba, His always unruly hair had been tied back at the base of his neck and his height had reached about five-feet-eleven-inches. Mokuba grinned back and kissed both Yami and Hikari on the cheek, "You look surprised to see me, Jonouchi-kun, perhaps you were expecting the Easter Bunny?" Katsuya grabbed Mokuba and gave him a quick squeeze.

"How is everything at the Kaiba Manor?" Katsuya asked, as the four began to exit the airport, " I heard that your sister-in-law just passed."

"Ha! I half expected nii-sama to do a happy dance on the witch's grave, if that's what you're worried about!" Mokuba stated, with a snort.

"'Twas a shotgun wedding." Yami supplied.

"A shotgun wedding?" Katsuya asked, confused.

"Yeah, you know, the bride's father holds a shotgun to the groom's back to make sure he says his vows." Yugi explained, " Kaiba-san only stayed with her for the sake of their daughter."

"Daughter!?" Jonouchi exclaimed, "Man, a lot has changed since I left." The other three laughed at Katsuya's confusion and the four of them climbed into the waiting limo.
