Chpt 4:

All that for a lousy c.d. and I don't even know what to do with it. This is ridiculous, some indy artist who wanted my help with a tour, if I remember correctly. Oh well, with a sigh I picked up the stereo remote and entered in the number that mokuba had so kindly put on the case to tell me where in my 900 c.d. player it was. Soon a very hypnotic middle eastern sound came out of my speakers, so I sat back to listen.

Okay, not bad so far. Maybe if I pulled my head out of my ass and listened to it sooner I would have known that already.

'I agree" I thought to myself as the song went on. The lyrics were deep, and the chorus was hard to forget.

I pulled my laptop to me and began to type furiously

Any idea I had was soon passed from my fingers to the computer screen, sponsor a concert, or a tour, make a video with the disks, anything.

The next song started with a long piano intro, I had to have this group represent my company, I just had to.

***RING***

The ringing of the phone broke me out of my peaceful slumber. I was drifting off to the sound of my friend's singing voice.

"Kaiba." He grunted into the phone, still typing away like mad " no, I havent seen him," another pause as he listened to what the person on the other end was saying "listen, I'll send my personal detective over to help you find him," Kaiba grunted, he stopped typing and picked up an pen and paper, he scribbled whatever it was that he needed down, " He'll be there soon, Don't call again, unless he's dead or you find him, got it?" and with that he dropped the phone back onto it's base and continued typing Once he was finished he shut the laptop off and picked the phone back up. "Madison, I have a request" a pause "An acquantance of mine has a missing friend, you find him," another pause, "Yugi Mouto, two doors down from my vacation cottage, go." Kaiba, dropped the phone back down, and stood.

***DINGDONG***

Man that Kaiba is a pain in the ass, I'm standing here on some stranger's porch, I hope to god that it's the right one. Oh well, he is putting my son through med school, so I guess I cant complain to much. I was about to leave when a white haired male answered the door, he took one look at me and snorted.

"You must be the detective." He said with a sneer, I nodded, " come in." I stepped into the small cottage that was set up remarkably like Mr. Kaiba's, only a bit more homely. The boy shut the door behind me.

" Are you Yugi Mouto?" I asked, he grinned, the shook his head. Man, there was something really unnerving about that grin. He motioned for me to follow him.

"I'm sure he's fine Yugi." I heard a soft english accent say from the living room that I was currently entering.

"But what about the thunderstorm?" a slightly smaller boy who was situated on the lap of his almost exact look alike wailed. The boy who opened the door for me snorted again, the proceeded to roll his eyes.

"The detective is here." He said, before sitting down next to a slightly more timid version of himself, how odd.

" I wouldn't worry about it Yugi," said a voice from my left. I turned to see another set of twins, both dark skinned and blonde haired, "Even if he did get struck by lightning, he's so hard headed, he wouldn't even know what happened."

The other blonde spoke up "Yeah, he's probably lying in a ditch going 'what happened?' dork."

"Marik! It's your fault he left, so I'd shut my cake hole if I were you!" Yugi's twin shouted, Oh great I'm at an angry twin festival.

***CLICK***

I swear, If looks could kill, I'd be dead right now. I put a collar and a leash on the puppy, and he's not to happy about it.

"Come on," I coaxed, "It's just for a little bit, I know you have to go to the bathroom by now." Great, now I'm trying to reason with it I rolled my eyes and grabbed him. Mokuba followed me outside, I love my little brother, he's always there, even if I'm not. I placed the puppy on the ground, and kept an eye on him as he sniffed around, finally lifting his leg on one of my gardener's prized roses. Mokuba giggled.

***AHHH***

OI! I couldn't tell you how long I'd been holding that in. Kaiba was right I did have to go, but was the leash really necessary? I continued to look around Kaiba's back yard, it was pretty nice. I trotted around a bit more before something caught my attention. A mud puddle, right by Kaiba's foot. I grinned, well, as best as I could anyway, and took off towards the puddle. I leapt into the puddle, sliding through it and successfully ruining Kaiba's dress pants.

"You Shit!!!" Kaiba screamed, diving for me, I took off as fast as I could, only to have my feet swept out from under me when I reached the end of the leash. Damn, he grabbed me, by the scruff and carried me inside. " It's bathtime for you puppy." The way he said that made me shiver, maybe I shouldn't have done that? Nah, he's just trying to sound grumpy. I took full advantage of my position, and squirmed like mad, getting more muddy water on Kaiba. It wasn't until we reached the bathroom and Kaiba began to remove his shirt that I realized that he'll probably want to clean himself too. Oh my, a naked Kaiba is not something I want to see. He began to remove his pants, and I began to panic, but something stopped me. He was gorgeous! Damn! I suddenly couldn't take my eyes off of him. He picked me up and placed me on the floor of the tiny shower. I look up at him and wagged my tail, man I wish I was human again, so I could tell him how gorgeous he was. He stepped in with me and turned the water on. At first it was cold, but then it got warm. It was really nice, I closed my eyes and let it warm me up.

"Holy shit!" I heard Kaiba cry, I opened my eyes, and suddenly I was eye level with him.
