Chapter Two: The devil!

April looked around or a moment and then she got up. She ran out the door and into the streets. 'For a small kid she has some fast legs!' thought Joey and ran out to try and catch her.

"Have you found out what you are gonna do?" said Joey panting. "No but I'll make the plan up as we go along!" said April and started running again. She took the letter out of her pocket again and read where she was supposed to meet Yami Bakura.

"Are you gonna give him the locket?" asked Joey. "No but I'll give him a locket," said April. The two stopped and Joey looked at his watched. "Its 11:58 two minutes till Yami Bakura gets here......." said Joey and put his hands in his pocket.

April was working on it. "April what if he doesn't believe you that the fake millennium locket isn't real?" asked Joey confusing himself. "Will you just trust me I know what I'm doing!" she sorta snapped at him.

Joey blinked. 'She has never snapped at me before I wonder what's gotten to her,' Joey thought. April's face went back to caring. "I'm sorry onii-san I didn't mean to snap at you like that it just that.................that I care about Yugi so much I don't want him to get hurt because of me............,"

April looked down at the ground again. "I really care for his grandpa and Kiba but Yugi is like......my whole world...," said April and didn't know what this strange feeling was. She knew what love was like since she loved her brother so much but before so strong.

"It's called love. You really care for Yugi and I understand why you snapped at me now, so don't worry about it," said Joey and placed one of his hands on her shoulder. April wanted to cry. She wanted to burry her face in her brother's chest and cry. She knew she couldn't let her brother see her cry again.

April handed the real Millennium Locket to Joey. "I want you to take this close enough to where it is near but then after he is here I want you to run alright?" she asked her brother. "Okay!" said Joey and hid behind a big box. 'Let's hope this works,' she said to herself and then saw Yami Bakura coming.

"I see you read the note," said Yami and snapped his fingers. Then Seto and Gramps appeared. "Where is Yugi?!" she yelled. "When you hand over the locket I will give you him," said Yami B snickering. "Fat Chance! Hand them all over and I'll give you it! I don't trust a Yami like yourself," said April. "Alright then," Yami B. snapped again and appeared Yugi.

April went tense again. She saw blood running down his cheek mixed in with dried up tears. "What did you do to him?!" yelled April. "You really believe I could do such a thing?" said Yami B. He loved looking at the pain in people's faces, but he really liked the pain in April's face.

April felt like slapping him. Slapping him really hard for what he did to her friends. She just kept her face down to the ground muttering under her breath.

"What are you muttering?" asked Yami Bakura. "You are a sick minded person that loves seeing people get hurt," she said and watched him walk away.

"Oh believe me it will be worse if this isn't the real millennium item," said Yami Bakura and with that he left.

Joey came up behind her again. "We should get them some where safe like...," said Joey but April interrupted. "Like the hospital. Something might be broken or something yet neither of us can drive so go call 911 so we can take them to the hospital," said April and with that she went off to find a pay phone.
