Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Fiction ❯ Look in My Face, Step in My Soul ❯ Toy ( Chapter 2 )
Disclaimer: Only Kaiba, Bakura, and Malik are mine; that bum Kazuki Takahashi can keep the rest for all I care ^_^
A/N: Yup, I'm back again. Run away!!!! Poor Kaiba-kun; I really made life miserable for him in this chapter... But that is what this fic is all about, after all. I should have just written in the summery, `Evil psycho authoress uses Bakura-kun to make Kaiba-kun's life miserable.' Sounds like that would about cut it, don't you think? ^_^ Anyhoo... To those about to read, I salute you.

Chapter Two: Toy
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Unfortunately, Seto Kaiba just couldn't catch a break. Maybe a couple hours after he had gotten himself cleaned up and fallen into an exhausted sleep, one of his employees came to wake him up. "W-what do you want?" he asked groggily.
"The other passengers are awaiting you so that breakfast may begin, sir," he said respectfully, and bowed.
He frowned and tried to sit up, and then the pain hit him. He gasped, lying back down hurriedly, from a mixture of the pain and the memories that were suddenly returning to him. The memories were infinitely worse, to be sure. "Tell them that they may start eating without me," he ground out. "I'm not feeling completely well, but I'll be down as soon as possible."
"Sir, would you like me to send a doctor-" the man started, obviously concerned.
"No, just go," Kaiba winced.
"But-"
"Go, dammit!" The man scurried out at full speed. His employer sighed quietly; it felt good to scream at people... Relieves stress... But Bakura was right, he though dully, as he climbed out of bed very carefully. It was all an act. He was a fraud; a good-for-nothing slut...
He examined the sheets. They were stained with dried blood. How the hell was he supposed to explain this? ...Well, he wasn't reputed as a genius for nothing. With another sigh, he pulled the stained ones off the bed and tossed them out the window. If they were in the trash can the maid might find them, and he wasn't about try and wash that much blood off.
Blood... He felt dizzy. He had lost a lot of blood, he knew, though he'd probably be all right after he ate something - well, he'd better be all right after he ate something. He should do something about this; his people would be on Bakura like dogs if he just gave the order, and he wouldn't even have to explain himself. But could they really do anything about him? More likely, he would be sending them all to their deaths, and even he wasn't that cruel. Well, okay, so he probably was. But right now he felt too dull and tired to go through all that... too broken...
When he finally got downstairs, he received shock number one of the day. Sitting at the table with his friends was none other than Ryou Bakura. When the millionaire came in to the room Ryou shot him a smile, there was more to it than just cuteness... there was understanding too.
`Ah,' thought the small part of Kaiba that actually felt up to sarcasm. `The face that started it all...' It wasn't really funny, though, he reflected.
Then for just a moment the face seem to change, and he sneered. Then the innocent-looking Ryou was back, blinking from surprise. Kaiba swallowed.
There a moment's pause in the conversation when he came in, but now Yugi broke it by saying simply, "Kaiba," and they all returned to their incessant chatter - apparently trying in vain to convince Ryou that he really wasn't well enough to be out of bed. Yugi was in `solemn mode' again, Seto reflected as he sat down gratefully and started to eat. He wondered briefly whether the tree stump had a `yami' too, but he pushed that thought aside for the time being. One yami was more than enough as far as he was concerned, and anyway he had more important things to think about.
The bastard wasn't going to leave him alone - Seto was sure of that. That look was proof of it. Bakura had found a fun toy, and he was planning to make good use of it before he discarded it... He really should try to sic some of his people on him, but that was simply out of the question...
But why? he argued. He supposed that, unlikely as it sounded, Bakura probably would be able to tear them apart. But shouldn't he be grasping at any chance he could get? And if that wouldn't work, then maybe he could try talking to Yugi. The very thought of accepting advice from his long-time rival was repulsive, but still, Yugi seemed to understand what was going on with Ryou and his yami and he didn't seem afraid of them.
Pretty soon, he had finished eating. He was right, he did feel better - at least a little. After gathering his courage - since when had the great Seto Kaiba been afraid to speak in front of people? - he stood up and cleared his throat. "The second two duels of the first half of the finals will be held this afternoon," he announced, in his most business-like manner. "You will have all morning to prepare and relax." With that, he exited as quickly as possible. He felt that, if he let them stare at him long enough, they would see what he had become...

Soon after this, the meal broke up. Jounichi returned to his room alone, soon falling deep in to thought.
He was at the same time very grateful and very unhappy that the others had decided to stay in Yugi's room after all. On the one hand it left him all alone, on the same blimp as Kaiba, but on the other hand it left him all alone to do some much-needed thinking.
He hadn't thought, at the time sleeping arrangements were made, that Kaiba would actually have the nerve to... do that... with all his friends close-by. But then, he was Kaiba, after all.
He ought to tell someone about this. Contrary to popular belief Jou was no fool; he knew Kaiba didn't love him. He hated him; he had said so, many times. And all he had to threaten Jou with was `the weight of the entire Kaiba Corporation.' Hmph. Big deal. He had Yugi on his side, after all, and he had seen the big one do some pretty amazing stuff before. He was sure big Yugi could take care of Kaiba, and no one would be the wiser, if he ever found out what Kaiba did to him. But he just couldn't tell. Because, no matter how horrible Kaiba was to him, and no matter how much he said he hated him, Jou loved him.
He was smart enough to read between the lines, after all, enough to pick up on how something horrible had happened to Kaiba in the past - he knew he had been adopted, and that his step dad was dead too now - and he had seen how much the other young man cared about his little brother Mokuba. How could someone who seemed so horrible have such a strong friendship with a little kid? He was convinced that there was another side to Kaiba that no one ever saw, and he wanted to see it. Maybe Kaiba could even learn to love, who knew?
Jou sighed suddenly, flopping over backwards on bed. He felt a twinge of pain left over from last night, but he ignored it. Kaiba, love? It would never happen. `I should just give up,' he told himself dully...

Have I mentioned that Seto can't catch a break? He was in his room again, relaxing - very gingerly - when there was a sharp rap on the door. He got up curiously to see who it was, but when the door opened he paled and hurriedly pushed the close button.
The sennen eye appeared on Bakura's forehead, and the door opened again. "I could have just opened it that way from the start," he said conversationally, "but I wanted to see what you'd do. Shame on you; I told you you'd be punished if you tried to resist me."
Kaiba backed away from him as he came in, until his back hit the wall. `Shit.' Bakura was instantly all over him, kissing and touching and stripping him of his dignity once again.
"Please don't," he muttered.
The spirit stopped for the moment, raising an eyebrow. "Well, I guess that makes up for the door a little bit," he smirked. "You begged, and I didn't even have to ask. Why shouldn't I?"
Seto looked him right in the eyes. "I'm sore," he said bluntly. "If you... you..." he winced. "Do that, I'll bleed again. People will wonder..."
"Good point!" he said cheerfully. Then he grabbed Seto by the collar and started to drag him off. "Not that I actually care, but you've given me an idea. I think a shower is in order."
He pulled him into the room's adjoining bathroom, and started the water. "Strip," he commanded. When Seto hesitated, he added, "Unless you want me to do it for you - again - that is..." So he obeyed. Bakura undressed at the same time, but to his shame Kaiba notice that he kept an eye on him the whole time.
He had just succeeded in removing his boxers, when he was startled to find Bakura's arm snaking across his chest from behind. "You may be a good-for-nothing slut, but you certainly are beautiful," he purred.
Seto growled, shrugging him off, and Bakura frowned. "Be that way, then," he said, and achieved revenge by shoving him into the shower.
Seto bit his lip to keep from crying out when his shoulder hit the shower wall - and because of the fact that any sudden movement was very bad right now. And as if that wasn't unpleasant enough, he discovered that the water stung in all the various cuts and rope-burns he had acquired last night.
"Comfortable?" the spirit said sneeringly as he climbed in. For a moment Seto's breath caught at the sight of him, and he wondered why. Well, there was no denying that Bakura also had a very beautiful body. But the soul using it was purely evil, he told himself firmly.
"No, actually," he spat.
Bakura laughed. "Well, I'll see if I can fix that for you."
For a while, Kaiba just gave in to the feeling of the other's hands on him, knowing it was better this way than if he tried to resist. Bakura didn't cause any new wounds this time (though that might only have been because he had no knife), but he was rough by nature. The worse part was that he found himself enjoying the feeling again. He hated himself for it, but he couldn't do anything about it either. Whether he hated him or not, the fact remain that Bakura turned him on.
Then he felt fingers at his entrance. Stretching, preparing... He bit his lip so hard that he tasted blood just to keep from screaming. Then, in a moment of returned willpower, he shoved Bakura away. "Stop it!" he said forcefully, and this time he obviously wasn't begging. "That hurts, bakayarou!"
Bakura grinned wickedly. There went the sudden reserve of willpower... "And why should I care?" he inquired.
It was amazing how just a single look could make him melt... The best thing Kaiba could come up with was something that had just popped into his head now, something that he wasn't sure would even work. "If you hurt me again, I'll tell Yugi about what you do to Ryou!" He was glad the shower was dim; his face went red at the thought of using his own enemy as a defense. But he had been thinking earlier, at breakfast...
To his complete and utter shock, this actually seemed to make an impact. "How did you find out about the pharaoh?" Bakura hissed. If that idiot Yami found out about his `activities,' he would go to the shadow realm for sure. "Never mind. Don't even think about telling him anything!"
Kaiba smirked. He had absolutely no idea what Bakura was talking about - pharaoh? - but he knew when he had the upper hand. "If you don't hurt me, fine."
Suddenly Bakura's face turned thoughtful, then amused. This, Seto was beginning to learn, was a bad sign. "Kaiba," he said, in a very worrisome tone, "if you knew about pharaoh, why didn't you tell him before? Much more importantly, why are you agreeing to not tell him now if I simply don't hurt you? I can understand that this isn't something you would want getting out into the public, but I should think that if you hate this as much as you imply, you'd be doing whatever you could to get rid of me..." Bakura slid up to him, effectively trapping him in a corner, and almost absentmindedly ran a hand over his chest. Kaiba flinched, but after all he had no where to go. "Look at you... You flinch, but you don't try to stop me, now do you? Are you so broken that you'll only protest if I do something to hurt you... or do you enjoy it when I touch you?"
Kaiba gasped. He had... no answer for that... When he put it that way, it was so obvious that he must be enjoying this... He mentally shook himself. No, that demon was just playing head games with him. There was no way in hell he liked this, he had just been too shocked to do anything before. And he wasn't going to go groveling to Yugi unless he was really desperate. "Fuck you," he spat.
Bakura grinned again. "Well, if you really want to." Seto blanched. "Fine, you may consider my question on your own time. But if you want me to agree not to fuck -you-, then I have one condition."
Seto winced; this was bound to be bad. The spirit didn't have the typical evil glitter in his eyes, but he certainly had some kind of strange look. "What?"
"Tell me you love me. When I pleasure you, I want to hear you say you love me."
Seto stared at him for a moment. That was certainly the last thing he was expecting... But he shrugged off his shock. At least it wasn't painful. "Fine."
That out of the way, Bakura was back to his usual smirking self. "Good boy. Now, I hope that after such an unpleasant bit of blackmail, you're willing to do just about anything else I ask - or I might just reconsider."
So Seto gave in to him. He sucked his cock, and told him he loved him, and any number of other things. He felt disgusting, dirty, but he knew that it wasn't as bad as he might feel. And when Bakura left, he went to sleep - largely to avoid thinking about that question...

A/N: *beams* Wow, the second chapter's not significantly shorter than the first one! It's a miracle... Well well, I certainly made the plot seem pretty obvious in this chapter. But fear not, it's not going to turn out anything like what you're all probably thinking at this point ^___^ Thinking ahead, this is probably really the most boring chapter in the whole fic. I hope this reassures you a little, if you think this chappy sucked. In fact, the next chapter is where it gets really interesting. ... ... ... Um, I guess I'm done teasing you all now... *runs from flying fruit* AHH! It's the Rotten Apple Core of DOOM!!! ... ... ... Yup, random, I know... R&R!!!!!
