Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Fiction ❯ Loop Hole of Love ❯ The Pharaoh's Wild Streak ( Chapter 2 )
The Pharaoh's Wild Streak
"Go with her, she'll escort you to the bathroom where you can clean yourself up", Bakura's guard said, as a maid appeared.
Avari nodded and the maid set off to the baths. The maid opened a door for her the disappeared ad quickly as she had come.
There was something about the way the maid had walked that made Avari feel like she had an attitude. But that was an afterthought when she saw the bathroom.
It was like a palace in it's self; with white walls and lace curtains it was almost faultless. She saw the bath and ran to it!
She drew the water and submerged herself, uhh…this was heaven! She washed off the grime and got out, and toweled herself off. She saw some garments on the counter and put them on.
Avari looked in the mirror and gasped, she looked so different. She did not see her attractiveness, but her looks rivaled those of a princess.
With a white blouse and a white skirt going down to her knees, along with the standard silver chain belt and silver bracelets, she was very pretty.
Her hair, no longer hidden was graced with a glowing sheen, and her face, no longer dirt covered, was gleaming.
She went to walk out, and then realized she didn't know where she was or where to go! She walked blindly out into an adjacent hallway she walked what seemed like an hour, and then she came upon a certain Hieroglyph and stopped to look.
How in the hell did she go from rags to riches? Well not exactly riches but…close enough right?
Admits her enthrallment with the scripture, she did not notice a blonde and purple haired Pharaoh walking down the hall, and spied upon the fair maiden.
With a single thought he changed his garments to something a servant would wear, his power allowing him to. Then he sauntered up behind her and came to look at the wall as well, even though he had seen it many a time.
So…this must be the new girl, Bakura was so arrogant about huh? Well… she was beautiful.
She looked around at him, and bowed courteously one slave to another. But soon she was done and still lost.
"Excuse me do you know where Lord Bakura's servant's stay?" she inquired.
"Why yes my fair lady I do. Perhaps you would like me to escort you there?" Yami said.
She nodded then she asked, "What would you name be?"
"Well…uh…I suppose you can call me Yami, and yours fair one?" he answered as they walked.
"Avari", she replied.
"Avari", he repeated, liking the sound.
"Well Avari let us walk on, I'm sure Lord Bakura is missing one so lovely as you", he said suavely.
Now the Pharaoh wasn't such a dog and scoundrel as to think this happened with every pretty girl that walked in.
On the contraire he was quite reserved, but today he was having a wild streak, besides he wasn't completely devoid of all possibilities of being a charming yet horny Lord, he was only about 20 after all.
They walked down the halls and onto a huge part of the gigantic Palace. As far as Avari knew there were 4 great Lords of the palace. The three High Mages: Malik , Bakura ,and Seto. Not to mention the Pharaoh himself.
She had read that the palace was divided up amongst them, for often they would fight, some battles involving Duel Monsters, and others with fists. So they had their own "houses" and she belonged to Bakura's House.
But Duel Monsters here was different because here they came to life and could kill you. They were your guardians, and your destroyers.
She was far from stupid, and guessed that this "servant", was really the Pharaoh and if he wanted to insult her intelligence like this then she was game, but she would get him back, even if it meant getting punished.
They walked along many a passage, until at last he stopped in front of two huge double doors. Then she turned to him, distain dripping from her words.
"Thank you Pharaoh…perhaps I'm a servant, but I'm not an idiot", she said with a fake bow.
He knew not what to say, how could she have known?
But Avri just walked away with the air and grace of a queen. She was truly a rebel, and had he been any other pharaoh, he would have been dead.
She walked into the servant's quarters but looking around she noticed something, they were wearing blue, while Bakura's servants wore white.
That arrogant bastard led her to a different house! And by the looks of things they didn't welcome Bakura's house's servants!
