Goodbye Domino

I stood aghast, as Malik slapped me good and hard, right across the face with a satisfing "smack".

I held my hand to my face, while Malik looked at me sneeringly, then he said something before all hell broke loose.

"My Queen will show some respect for me in the future", he said darkly, then it happened.

Torrents of soldiers with their Monsters came crashing down from the ceiling, in massive, threatening waves of pure power. Their swarthy faces lit with pumped up dreams of victory.

"Caputre the slaves who do not fight and kill the rest!", Malik shouted as he wrapped his arm around me and as he chanted something I started to glow a sickly green.

"Find the Mages! Find them and kill them as soon as possible!" he shouted some more with a look of triumph.

"And you my lotus love, will be mine tonight, and every night after that", he whispered in my ear, as he bound me with strong rope behind my back.

I struggled and when that failed, I tried calling Dark Elf.

She did not come to me.

Malik laughed evily, then said, his voice raspy.

"She will not be summoned, I cast a Magick so strong no Monster could break free, it only cost a small price", he said, as the soldiers were capturing women and killing men.

"What your soul?!" I said venom dripping off my words.

"Well, actually...yes", he said then laughed again as I screamed, and jerked helplessly, with my body.

I watched in horror as men were being killed, with the swords of Malik, they screamed and their screams would forever echo in my mind. I caught a flash of black and white.

"Domino!" I screamed across the rom, as I saw him pick up a sword, in defense.

He looked at me. And there was that cold hard emotion.

He knew he was going to die.

Oh my Ra, ...he knew he was going to die!

"Domino NO!" I yelled wildly thrashing against my restraints.

Malik jerked me and I landed on my bottom. I glared up at him, then I kicked him, right between the legs as hard as I could and was glad to see him crumple, and realese me.

I jumped up with all swiftness, and mad a mad dash to were I could see Domino fighting two-handed with a sword against three men.

I looked into those deep deep green eyes for the last.

A man plunged a sword into his stomach and pulled it out, with a wild yell of triumph.

I watched those green eyes die, and felt myself die to. I felt my light, my spark fade as his did, in those forever green eyes.

I fell to my knees, and I was dimly aware tears where streaming my face in a flood like the Nile.

I sat there while people died, and crawled over to the corpse of my beloved Domino.

I cradled that head against me, my arms wrapped around him, while I rocked back and forth.

I was sobbing, great , racking sobs, leaving me numb inside.

No not numb, I was not that lucky.

No, I felt my heart give a sigh, a sigh a pure weariness, and fight to keep beating. I wished it would stop for good. I wish my heart had stopped beating, with his.

I wish I could see those beautiful eyes blink at me again.

I wish I could see him, dance with his lover, who was nearby...a bloody corpse as well.

I wish I could have died with my Domino.

I wish....

The pain burst through my body like a burning brand, bent on tearing my heart from the viens holding it in. I looked up and saw a sword nearby.

I picked it up, and swung at the man who had killed Domino. I swung it with a strength, not my own...but of Ra.

I swung, and took his head off in a bloody spray, as I swung for the next head.

My blood-lust rose in me like a firey volcanic eruption. And several more heads rolled on the ground like bloody grapes.

I was not satisfied until I had killed ten more of Malik's men, then I dragged my tired and worn body back to his corpse, which was as beautiful as ever.

I was blood soaked and finally,...numb.

I looked up and saw people dashing madly, I looked around for more of my loved ones bodies, and was glad to find none amoung the dead.

I was looking at a dead man, when I caught a glimpse of mauve hair. Then a crown.

but it was all for not, because seconds later a pair of arms lifted me, and a voice said:

"I am glad to see my Queen's blood lust was satisfied", he crooned darkly.

"I will never be your Queen!", I said and spat at him.

He wiped it away, and threw back his head and laughed.

"Oh, soon my lotus love!...soon"

wow....I'm kinda depressed now..but I thought it for the greater good of the st-
