Seto Kaiba looked around himself. Blue-ish mist swirled around him as he stood in an endless plane of dull silver. Where was he?

"You are here."

Seto whirled around and jumped. Standing just behind him was the largest dragon he had seen in his life. Towering above him, the white scaled creature lowered its head to the ground. For a moment, he was confused, afraid it was going to eat him before he realized what it was doing.

It was bowing to him!

As though sensing his amazement, the dragon opened its bright blue eyes and looked into his own. Tilting its head to one side slightly, Seto heard the same soft, feminine voice enter his mind.

"Why are you astonished? Shouldn't one bow to her master?"

Seto blinked and looked upon the mighty dragon. "M… Master?"

"Yes. You are the master of all dragons. Every one of us bows before you. Or… Well…" The creature gave a light shrug. "At least, they should."

Seto tilted his head curiously. "What do you mean 'they should'?"

The dragon gave a soft sigh. "It has been many years since you've commanded our race and there are those that are rebellious. They say you are no longer fit to rule us." She looked him in the eyes. "But some are willing to allow you a chance to redeem yourself."

"How?"

"I have been sent to give you the Task. When you turn around, you will find yourself back in your world. There, you will see an egg. All you need do is raise the one inside and we will praise you once more."

The human blinked and looked deeply into the dragon's eyes. "That is all? Just raise a dragon?"

She nodded and Seto smirked. "Then prepare to praise me once again."

As he turned around, vanishing in a swirl of silvery mist, the dragon smiled and he just barely heard her thought of, "I will be glad, my master."

In a black plane, where dark violet mists swirled, two pinpricks of crimson narrowed at a glass ball.

"No! He's been given the Task!" The glowing orbs looked up and fell upon a dark shadow. "You! You will see to it that he does not live long enough to even start the Task!"

Said shadow nodded and vanished in a swirl of black mist.

Wow. I actually wrote a fic where Kaiba is both a main role and is male!

Yami: *eyes Angel* Who are you and what have you done with Angel?

Kura : And did you know you suck?

Angel: *growl; kicks Bakura* Shut-up! Anyway, as always, I don't own YuugiOu. *sighs; places hands behind head* I'm not so sure if I should continue this. *shrug* If you want me to, just go ahead and say so. If not, I might just do so anyway. Ja ne.
