To ask that question is to question everything I believe in.

I walked away from that match a winner, but I felt like I had just lost.

That poor kid. Fighting for his sister, dueling to win.

But I came with my deck full of great magic and trap cards and worthy monsters.

And I won.

I beat him in twelve turns.

That was the fastest match I had ever played in duel monsters.

I will always remember that kid, no matter what.

He was the one who taught me the meaning of duel monsters.

I will keep fighting my battles, but the words he muttered to me just before I finished him will haunt me forever.

He had said: "I failed… Now my sister is going to die, just like the doctors said."

That boy had been fighting for sister, she had been hurt badly in a car crash and he needed the prize money to pay for her operation.

But just like that, I beat him.

You can say I killed his sister, it was my greed, all mine and for that an innocent has been killed.

I will never forgive myself, never…
