It was a boring day at the museum. Ishizu Ishtar was getting very tired, but it was too early to be going to bed. It was only 7:30, and she usually went to bed at 10. She sat in her office, translating the hieroglyphics, when she noticed the sun setting outside her window. She stood up and walked over to the large window and just stared outside. The beach was nearby, and she saw nobody there.

"Probably because it's so late," she thought as she sat back down in her chair. "Man, it's such a slow day. Nothing to do but translate these texts. I guess after a few years, reading Egyptian gets kind of old."

Ishizu looked back outside, looked at her desk, then back outside again. "Oh, what the hell. Egypt can wait." She stood up, grabbed her coat, locked her office shut, and walked outside the museum.

"Where do you want to go, ma'am?" asked the chaffeur. Ishizu had received quite a reputation after her newest exhibit, and with it, she had gained money. Which meant that she was almost in the league of Seto Kaiba. Not close, but not far either. And with that money, she bought a limo so that she could be taken places.

"Nowhere, thank you," she replied. "I've decided to go for a walk. Thank you."

"Yes, ma'am."

As Ishizu walked toward the beach, which was her destination, she thought about her recent visit with Seto Kaiba. She remembered it well, that strange day, and she couldn't forget it to save her life. It had been on the blimp when they were returning to Domino City from the Battle City Finals. He had lost, but that wasn't what had caused that event. Ishizu sighed as she remembered the strange thing that took place.

*Flashback*

Ishizu was walking down the hall when she heard the elevator behind her. She waited for whoever it was, hoping that it was the Pharoah or one of his friends. To her surprise, however, it was Seto Kaiba who got off.

"Hello, Seto," she replied. "I'm sorry you lost, but..." She was cut off, however, but the look on Seto's face. He was a deathly pale, and he looked like he wasn't in good condition. "Seto....are you alright-"

"I'm fine!" he quickly exclaimed before storming off, shoving her back in the process.

"Well, fine, I was just worried about you!" Ishizu shouted at him. But, as she saw him walking away, she noticed that Seto was holding his arm as if it were in pain. His hands were deathly pale, just like his face. She watched as he entered his room, and she didn't see him for the rest of the trip home.

*End Flashback*

She looked around the beach and slowly sat down on the sand. It reminded her of Egypt, which only brought back painful memories. But those were memories, and she couldn't be disturbed by them now. She looked out into the sea for what seemed like eternity, when she heard someone else walking along the smooth sand. She looked over, and to her great surprise, saw Seto Kaiba staring coldly out into the ocean. He was a few yards away, but she didn't think he noticed her.

"Now what the hell is he doing here?" she thought as she watched him slowly sit down on the sand, just as she had done a few minutes ago. "Doesn't he have a company to run? A brother to look after? He's always talking about how busy he is. Doesn't look like he's busy right now." She watched him for awhile, and it took everything in her power not to get up and sit beside him. Deep down, she had a deep crush on Seto. But what girl didn't in Domino City? He was sexy, rich, and independent. "But still, what's he doing here?"

Then, to Ishizu's horror, she saw Seto slowly take a knife out of his pocket. She watched as he whispered a few words that she could not hear. He then placed the blade up to his wrist...and made a deep cut.
