Chapter 2

<Kira's POV>

It's been 4 years since I left the palace of Egypt, I'm 19 and I have a healthy baby girl. Her name is Phera and she's 4. Phera has her father's eye color, crimson. Her hair is like mines long time ago with red streaks to match her eyes. My hair is short and has blue with a little bit of silver streaks. I haven't told her who her father is because he was married to the princess. I was happy, my grandpa and uncle Jackie comes to visit me and Phera at the least once every 2 weeks. My grandpa and uncle Jackie lives right next to Egypt, they teach different types of martial arts. They come to teach me so I can make money doing the same thing they do. I still bare the curse, but it hasn't been bothering me since I wasn't bothering it or maybe I got stronger. Anyways, I teach my students near my house. Their training begins by getting to my house on foot, when they get to my house I teach them basics and if they're good enough to move on, then they get to learn harder techniques. I also teach my daughter, although she wants to learn how to do archery, she's too young.

"Good evening kids." My students bowed. "Good evening sensai." "Okay today we're going to run through the basics, then learns 3 more forms of defense!" We train on the top of the mountain, which is only 20 mins walking. I'm well known in the towns, which bother the pharaoh, no one knows that the pharaoh is the father of my child and I don't plan on telling anyone, any time soon. Lessons are only an hour after that I get hugs from my students. I take Phera home and give a warm bath, then I take mine and get dinner ready.

"Mommy, what's for dinner today?" "You favorite." "<Gasp!> Meat loaf sandwich!" I nodded. "Go set up the table." She got plates and utensils. We sat at the table and started eating. Phera's so cute when she eats. "Chew Phera, your going to choke...hahahaha." She gave me a big grin. "After dinner brush your teeth and get ready for bed. I'll tell you the next adventure of Pokemon. Where Ash and co. get kidnapped trying to save a pokemon in danger." Phera looked with excitement. "And then what happens?" "I can't tell you that now, go brush your teeth." "Aaauuuhhh, do I have to?" "Yes, a true martial arts trainer always have clean teeth." "Ok." I smiled and then went to go wash the dishes.

After washing the dishes I went into Phera's room to go and check up on her. I opened the door but she wasn't there. "Phera stop playing around." I looked around, then I heard a giggle form the closet. "I guess Phera's not here, and if she's not here then I won't be able to tell an extra story after the one I was going to tell. <sigh> Oh well, I guess she doesn't want a bed time story. My Phera's growing up, I guess I should leave." I went out her room, but stayed right in front of the door. "Aaawww, mommy's not going to tell me a story. I don't want to grow up." I snickered behind her. "Gotch ya!" "Hey!" I tickled her. "Hahahahaha, hey that's not fair! DMG Help Me!!!" Just then from outside I heard a knock. "I wonder who that could be?"

I went to the door and opened it. "Kira!!! I finally found you!!!!" "Oh my gosh, DMG! DM! How did you guys find me?" Suddenly from the back. "Mommy who is it..<gasp> wow! It DMG and DM!" "Awww, how cute? Kira who is she?" "DMG, she's Phera, my daughter." DM looked surprised. "Does she know who her father is yet?" "Excuse me Mr. DM, but I don't have a daddy." 'She's so cute, if only Yami saw his daughter, he would have wanted to keep her.' DM bent down. "Hello Miss Phera, it's a pleasure to meet you and please just call me DM." Phera blushed. "Really I can call you that." DM nodded. "You guys come in." DMG and DM came in. I gave them cups of tea. "How did you guys find me?" "We went to each mountain and searched, we were losing hopes of finding you, but then when we went into town the children spoke of Sensai Kira." DMG said slyly. Phera opened her big mouth. "My mommy is Sensai Kira, because she teaches all kinds of martial arts and archery. I want to do archery, but my mommy says I'm too young." "Kira we didn't know you had these talents." "I didn't know either, my grandpa and Jackie taught me." DMG had a mischievous smile on her face. "Oh! Who is this Jackie, that your talking about?" I showed her a picture. "Here, that's my grandpa and that's Jackie." "So how did you guys meet?" "Um we met after I had Phera." Then DM asked, "So how long have you two been dating?" "What!?!?! Guys he's my uncle!!" DMG & DM looked at me. "Oh I'm so sorry, I thought you two were dating." "It's okay DM, I get that alot when I don't say Uncle Jackie." "But, Kira you've really changed alot and a lot of your scars are gone too." "Thanks for noticing, does it look bad?" "Not at all, I think it looks better." "Thanks DMG." I felt a tug on my dress. "Mommy I'm sleepy, could you tell me the story now?" DMG looked at Phera. "What kind of story does your mother tell you?" "Really exciting ones. It's the adventure of Pokemon!" "What's that?" DM asked. "There creatures that you keep inside pokeballs and you travel to win badges from leader of a league. Then you can be in the tournament." "Very interesting. Hey Kira, can we hear?" DMG asked. "Of course, but I'm going to be hard to catch up, but I'll try my best to explain."

<Yami's POV>

'I wonder where DMG and DM could be? They've been gone all night.' I waited for them in the front of the palace, then I felt arms circling around me and soft kisses up and down my neck. I turned around, it was Tea. "You should really come in honey." I smiled. "You go on ahead, I'm going to look for DM and DMG up in the mountains. They usually go there to train, would you like to come with me, my love?"

<Tea's POV>

'To the mountains at this time. What is he crazy? I don't want to go there! There can be bears and other disgusting animals!' "Um, sure dear, I would love to go with you." I saw him smile, his smiles always looked so sexy.

<Yami's POV>

"Great lets go, I'm really worried about them, I'm sure you are too." "Uh, yeah." We walk for a while until we got to the mountains. "Don't worry, there isn't much danger in this mountain. Tea clinged on to me, then she looked at me with a pout. "You know sometimes I don't think you even love me." "What!?" 'That's absurd, she means everything to me!' "How could you say that? You mean the world to me." "Well if I was the world to you then you wouldn't put me in any danger, like the mountains. You know I don't like traveling!" "It isn't that bad." Suddenly, I saw a small house up ahead with the lights on. "Look there's a house if you'd like to stop for a while." "Ewww, but that's a commoner's house. Why would you want to go in there?" "Well you wanted to stop for a moment." "Fine, but only 5 minutes." I smiled and we went up to the door. I knocked.

<Kira's POV>

"Ash and his friend, Misty and Brock fell into a pit hole and then..." <<Knock knock>> I turned to the door, then Phera jumped off the bed and ran to the door. "I sensed a little bit of magic from Phera, that's from Yami right?" "Yes, she doesn't know yet." I went over to the door. "Phera, who is it?" "It's his majesty and highness is here!" DMG and DM came out. "Yami! Tea! What are you guys doing here?" "Looking for you." Yami gave them an angry look. I went up to them and bowed. "Hello your highness, please don't get mad at them, I asked them to visit sometime when I left. I'm very sorry if I've caused you any kind of trouble." He seems to have forgotten me. I guess I should be lucky, but he hasn't changed much except that he's married. "You may come in if you wish your highness, I do not mind." He stepped in with his wife at his side, glaring at me. 'He kinda got darker.' "Would you like anything to drink?" "No, I don't think that I want to get poisoned again, Kira!" The pharaoh glared at me, then averted his gaze to Phera. "Is this your child?" "Yes, your majesty." "What's your name little girl?" "My name is Phera, your majesty."

<Yami's POV>

When I first came into the house I didn't recognized Kira, she has changed alot the last time I saw her. She has already given birth to our..uh..I mean her child. "Phera, how old are you?" "I'm 4, but I'm turning 5 in a.a.a..hm~." She looks so cute when she's thinking. "In a- month. Yeah, in a month from tomorrow." "Who do you live with?" "I live with my mommy, I don't have a daddy. Great Grandpa and Jackie comes to visit me and my mommy sometimes." So Kira has a someone in her life. "Who is Jackie?" "He's a person." "NO, who is Jackie, what's he like?" Tea jabbed me in the side. "Hold on, just give me a few minute." She pouted and continued to glare at Kira. "He's very nice to my mommy and he cares about her alot, just like great grandpa. He's tall, handsome and pretty well in shape. He teaches Kong fu over in the mountain out of Egypt. Here I have a picture." I saw the picture. 'Humph, he doesn't look that great. His not as handsome as me, but how could girl like Kira fall for a guy like this, for all she knows he could be cheating on her right now.' "Well, it was nice meeting you Phera. DMG, DM let go." Kira opened the door for all of us. Tea seem very happy to go. I went out last and stopped right in front of Kira. "So is Jackie your boyfriend?" She seem dumbfounded. "No, you highness." "Oh, now what he's your fiancee?" She shook her head. "Husband?" "No, your majesty, he's my uncle."

I was so embarrassed, but of course I did not show it. I just left with a grunt. 'I can't believe I made that kind of mistake. I'm kind of glad to see my...her daughter, she has my eye color and my personality.' From the back I heard. "Mommy you have to finish the story!" "He he ha ha ha, alright, alright, come on, now where did I leave off..." 'Kira has sure changed a lot, her hair is short and she put different color in it. It also looks like she's been working out too. It's nice to know that she didn't name her kid Daisy or something corny and it's nice to hear her laugh. Wait, it just hit me, I've never heard her laugh or giggle until now.'

<Kira's POV>

I told Phera the story and she fell asleep, just then I heard the necklace wake up. "Your awake." 'So?' "Aren't you going to make something bad happen to me?" 'Why you didn't do anything to wake me?' "I have been waiting for you to punish me for being happy." 'You have? You was happy?' "Yes I have my beautiful daughter, my grandpa and Jackie come to visit once in a while and I teach martial arts and archery." I heard it grunt. "I was waiting and wondering when you were going to punish me because I knew that it was coming, but you never came. I thought I lost you." 'Why?' "Why what?" 'Why were you waiting?' "I don't know, I missed you." 'What after all those years I've hated you, you never felt the same way. You actually liked me!' "Well I didn't hate you, I kind of thought of you as a really bad friend, but a friend, so I guess not." 'You are stupid. If you did that to me I would have tried everything to break you apart!' "Yeah, but then again, I'm not you." I went into my room and laid on my bed. "Goodnight necklace, see you in the morning." 'Yeah whatever.'

<The Necklace Spirit POV>

I can't believe that brat thought of me as a friend, after all I put her through. Maybe I was...No! Why am I feeling sorry for that little twit?! I'm getting old, maybe I should be a little bit nicer to her, after she does have a kid and all. Maybe I should tell her about the shaman thing? I'll think in the morning...maybe I should...ha! Your a genius, after all I do owe her.

<Yami's POV>

I can't sleep, I can't stop thinking about Phera. 'I can't deny that she's my kid too, not only Kira's, but how do I make her mines. I only want Phera and I'm sure Tea won't mind. Maybe if I propose a compromise to Kira, maybe she'll let me keep Phera for at least a year or two. I want to have a child with Tea, but lately she's been acting weird and DMG doesn't seem like herself anymore. Ever since Kira left, she started losing the energy she had.' Tea was sleeping on my chest, she looked so beautiful and peaceful when she was sleeping. I wrapped my arms around her and went to sleep. 'I'll have to pay Kira a visit tomorrow.'

<Kira's POV>

Next morning I woke up and felt kind of empty. I went into the bathroom and got ready. When I came into the kitchen, I couldn't believe my eyes. "Surprised to see us." The pharaoh was sipping a cup of tea and next to him was a lady. "You don't seem to recognize me, I'm the voice that speaks to you at night." I gasped and bowed first. "Good morning your highness, what bring you here this really in the morning?" "I came to discuss about your child, or should I say our child, but now there's another thing we must discuss." He looked smug as he took another sip out of his cup. I took a seat. "But why, your highness?" "Your friend here tells me that you've been cursed ever since you were little and that you've been abuse by your parents and that you are a shaman." The necklace lady looked at me with a smile. "So, what about it, you majesty?" "First, why did you not tell me that you were a shaman?" "You never asked and I assume that you wouldn't have cared, since I was only a slave and now that I'm just a commoner to you, why would you listen to me." "That is true, why would a guy like you want to hear what a commoner would have to say. You would zoned out on her." He got angry at necklace. "How dare you speak like that to the pharaoh?" "Well I'm not real, and I'm just a nobody to everyone, expect for special people, who can see spirits, for instance Kira." "Point taken, anyways, I came to talk about Phera." "What about Phera your highness?" "Did you tell her who her father is yet?" I shook my head.

'What does he want with my Phera?' "Well I want you to tell her that I'm her father." "Why your highness? I don't quite understand." "I want her to live with me. I want to be the father that she never had." 'I can't believe this! Sure he might be the pharaoh but still, he disowned her and now he wants to raise her!' "Without you in picture." 'Without me! Her mother! She never going to survive there. Well yeah she will, but I don't want to loose her, she means the world to me. I don't want to give her up, but this is the pharaoh and her father and it's about time she knew who her father is.' "I don't think this is my decision to make your highness." "Oh, then who do you think should make this decision?" "Phera." "Fine." "Please excuse me."

I went into Phera's room, she was still sleeping. 'Awww, I don't want to disturb her, she looks so adorable.' "You don't have to wake her yet. She looks cute when she sleeps." I jumped. 'Oh my gosh! That scared me.' I turned around, the pharaoh and necklace was right behind me. Just then... "Umm...<yawn>... mommy, why is the pharaoh and a lady in my room?" She was rubbing her eyes, she looked so cute. The pharaoh came up to her and picked her up. "Good morning, my little Phera." He lightly touched her nose, which made her giggled. "Hey what's going on?" I told her. "Well you see Phera, I have something to say to you." "What is it mommy?" "Your father is..." "<gasp> I have a daddy." I nodded. The pharaoh kissed her on the cheeks. "I'm your daddy." She looked speechless, then she smiled. "Yay! I have a daddy!" She hugged the pharaoh with a face with such joy, it broke my heart that I kept this from her. 'I should have told her sooner. I would have if I knew it would make her this happy. She must have been lonely without a father.'

Phera cleaned up and went into the kitchen and jumped into her father's arms. "Phera, I came to ask, if you want to live with me from now on and a new mommy?" My eye's widened. 'What!? He said a year or two. I should have known he would do something like this.' 'Hey, I know your upset, but your curse isn't broken.' 'Why not?' 'I may be being nice but not even I can brake a curse this complex.' 'You tried?' 'Of course, but I couldn't.' 'Why?' 'Because, it hidden deep within your heart and you built a strong barrier around it, unless someone can break it, the curse will stay there forever.' 'Wee...' 'I'm sorry.' 'It's not your fault it's all my fault, so don't be sorry.' "Mommy, can I live with daddy?" That question shattered my hope for happiness, but if it makes my Phera happy, then I guess I'm happy. I held back my tears. I nodded. "Yes Phera, you can." She ran up to my arms. "Thank you mommy! I'll promise I'll come to everyone of your sessions with daddy and new mommy, whoever she is." I smiled. "You don't have to if you don't want to." "But, I like your sessions mommy, I have to learn how to defend myself from strangers." She let go of me and did her favorite triple kick. I frowned. 'Phera, remember what I told you." She blushed. "I know, the best offense is the best defense." "And don't forget. You should never go for you opponent, you should always let them come to you." I winked. "I won't forget mommy!" "Now go on and get your thing, your father's waiting for you." Phera went into her room and packed.

She went into a chariot and left. After they disappeared, my tears came. I went inside my room and wept. The necklace rubbed my back to comfort me, it help a little, but still I'm only going to see my baby during sessions, which is only an hour, three time a week. "Don't cry, you have to be strong for Phera. You don't want her to see you like this now, do you." I stopped crying, 'The necklace is right, I shouldn't be crying, at least I get to see her and she'll have a better life there.' I got up went to wash the dishes.

Few months past and as she promised she, the pharaoh and his mistress came to every session. She would tell me all these things see been doing. Her highness seems to be happy that Phera was hers now. I also found out Phera had shadow powers and she inherited some of my power. She's a half shaman, but she'll never know, I can tell just by looking at her.
