Yugi sat patiently in the comfortable armrest as he waited for Yami. He waited inside the sitting area of the card shop/café for a little talk Yami had asked for last night. Yugi was quite curious but the guardian refused to tell him anything. `You'll have to wait till tomorrow.' He said when Yugi had inquired about his request. He decided not to push and gave up, going to bed with a thousand thoughts running through his head before sleep took him away. Why did Yami want to talk to him all of a sudden? Why was he so secretive about it? And why had he been acting so funny?

He tapped his fingers nonchalantly on the armrest as he let his gaze wander around the store. It was quite a decent place, the card selection was about as popular with the customers as Solomon's game shop, but the café beat all. After all, you don't find many places with a cappuccino and super sandwich special at their price.

Despite Yugi's normal stock of patience, he was beginning to grow a little uneasy just sitting there. It was already three past two and Yami had said he'd be there at two sharp, and he was always on time unless something important enough stops him in his tracks. He was starting to get bored enough to read the bio magazine sitting on the table next to him.

Just as he released a sigh, Yami walked through the door. Yugi straightened up in his chair and gazed over at his secret crush. He was looking sexy as usual, his tight leather clothing not bothering to hide the finely toned muscles of his tanned body. The only loose fabric on him was his blue jacket, the end flaring out as if it was fighting with the wind. And of course there was his neck belt and wild tri colored hair.

The boy's breath caught in his throat as Yami approached him. He always wore this mysterious aura, like he was daring you to unlock his box of secrets. And his eyes, those ruby stained pools of such wisdom and strength, knew no other way then intoxicating. Yugi swore that if he could ever stare into the dark one's eyes long enough he'd drown.

He managed a deep intake of air as he gathered himself and stood up. He wouldn't dare allow his true feelings to reflect. He couldn't afford to have the Pharaoh find out, especially since he was taken.

"Hi Yami. What took you so long?" He greeted, smiling warmly as his other now stood in front of him.

The spirit of the puzzle smiled, "Sorry about that aibou, I got stuck by a red light that decided to have fun and take longer then three minutes. And hi."

Yugi could not help but chuckle. At least he wasn't like Ryou's yami, who liked to curse and rant at every machine and technological use that didn't work correctly before releasing his fury on it. He had already broke the TV twice, dicombobeleted the stove, and busted the phone. Ryou was just grateful he decided not to damage the computer.

Yami gazed around the café, wondering if there was anything new, before his eyes riveted back to the small boy standing in front of him. "How long have you been waiting?"

"Only a couple minutes. But for some reason I was so anxious I started to get bored enough to read the biology magazine next to the chair." He replied, pointing to the table.

Yami laughed softly, ruffling Yugi's hair. "Sorry young one, I promise not to prolong so much next time." He noticed the slight change in Yami's demeanor as it had been yesterday. It flustered Yugi a little, for he only saw him act this way around one other person. The older one stepped closer, placing an arm around him.

"So.. What did you wanna talk about Yami?" He felt himself fidget at the close touch, but he couldn't shrug Yami off without being rude.

"Well…I wanted to talk about a few things. First off, are you still single?" The guardian asked, pulling Yugi just a little closer.

Yugi stared at him surprised. Was he going to try to play matchmaker again? No offense to Yami, he knew he was only trying to help and he did find some suitable choices, but they had all decided in the end just to be friends. Yugi was deeply saddened, but never showed it and simply agreed to their choice. One way or no way was better then nothing to him.

"Yeah, I'm still single…Why do you ask?" He looked up, curious again.

Yami squeezed him softly; "I'm getting there. Second thing is, are you interested in anyone?"

Yugi was beginning to grow nervous at Yami's inquiries, but he wasn't sure if he could jump around them. Plus the fingers rubbing his arm was making him lose his words a little.

"Well…" He couldn't tell him that he was the one he was interested in, the one he wished to hug and kiss and love with getting it all in return. "I'm not quite sure to tell you the truth. I think I like someone, but then I'm always rethinking."

"Hmm, I see. Well, who is it you think you have feelings for?" The hand left his shoulder and now held his hip.

"Um…I can't tell you." He looked away and tried to scoot over, but Yami's grip tightened.

"And why is that aibou?" That's when Yugi looked up and really noticed the change in Yami's behavior. His smile was tantalizing, and his eyes were shining mischievously.

"I'm…I'm a little uneasy about it…" He replied, now starting to get a little scared. Yugi had only seen him act that way with Seto, and Yami was acting this way to him now. But why? What was he thinking?

"You shouldn't be uneasy about telling me stuff. We're two of a kind. Unless what you're hiding is what I think it is." He rotated himself so now he stood face to face in front of the shorter boy, both his hands on his sides.

Yugi shrugged, his nerves frazzled like dynamite. He had to say something, do something to get Yami to stop, and to find out what the hell was going on. "I don't know what you think, so I can't say. But right now with the way you're acting I don't think I could tell you anything very easily." He tried to push Yami's hands off, but the hold on his waist had strengthened and he didn't want to cause a scene in the café.

The Pharaoh's smile grew wider, the look in his eyes never changing. "What's wrong with the way I'm acting aibou? Most people find this quite enjoyable." He leaned down, his face inches from Yugi's.

The multi-colored hair teen could not stand it now and pushed at Yami's chest, but not with desperate force. He backed away as soon as the grip on his hips had loosened and spoke, "Yami, I've known you for over a year now, and I've only seen you act like this when you were flirting or with Seto. And since you're not single and I'm not Seto, something about this is definitely odd."

Yami gazed at him, surprised with the youth's words. But instead of annoyed at his backing off, he looked rather amused which confused the young one even more. "You're right, something about it is odd. But do you think I'm flirting with you?" Yugi nodded.

"Well then…you are absolutely correct." Yugi's eyes widened and his mouth gaped open. He had not expected such a comeback.

"What? But… Why would you flirt with me?" He asked, shocked.

Yami stepped closer, causing Yugi to take a couple steps backwards. "Because you're just so adorable, and I care about you little Hikari. And I know you want me." It took a great amount of will not to smile at Yugi's expression growing more shocked. "You can't hide anything from me Yugi. I am a little part of you as you are a little part of me. I've known for quite some time now, even before Seto and I left for America."

Yugi was confused and stunned at the same time. If Yami knew, why didn't he say anything? And why was he acting like he wanted Yugi? He knew Seto and Yami were still together.

Before the youth could say anything, a tall lean figure had walked over to them, casting a shadow over their forms. Yugi looked up to see none other then Seto himself.

"Hey Sexy." Yugi figured he hadn't noticed he was there, which was all right. But the nonchalant attitude and sneaky look kinda bothered him. He watched sort of dazed out as Seto walked toward Yami to hug him and kiss his cheek, who gladly welcomed the affection. He followed Yami's gaze and noticed Yugi standing there looking confused as ever.

"Hey there Yugi. Sorry didn't see ya there." Yugi nodded softly, smiling and waving at the CEO. His greeting was weak though, as was his gesture.

"Something the matter?" Seto asked, looking from him to Yami. The dark one smiled wickedly, sending a shiver down Yugi's spine.

"No…nothing's the matter. We were just hanging out. But I think I'll go check out some of the cards and leave you two alone." He had started to leave when Yami's voice froze him in his tracks.

"Don't leave yet Yugi. I'm not done talking to you and we can live without each other for a few minutes." He tried hard not to grimace and turned back around.

"I'd rethink that if I were you Yami." Seto joked, but released his hold on the Pharaoh, standing at his full height. Yugi felt incredibly intimidated.

"Well then Yami, what is it that you want to talk to me about?" He felt scared of the answer but decided with Seto near them that it might be different. Yami parted his lips to reply when a familiar female voice rang out, "Yugi is that you?"

Yugi leaned to the side for a better look and noticed it was Mai, wearing the café uniform and waving at them. "Hey Mai, what's up? What are you doing here?" He was glad for the interruption and trotted forward, holding out his hand with his forefinger up indicating to give him a moment.

Neither of the lovers did anything about. The young CEO took advantage of the given time and leaned down to whisper in Yami's ear, "Did you ask him yet?"

The King of Games shook his head, "No, I'm getting real close to that though. I got the urge to play cat and mouse with him." He smirked, making his lover roll his eyes at him.

"You and your torture Yami. I would suggest by the look on Yugi's face to tone down the attitude a little. I think you're freaking him out." His eyes shot a warning look even though his lips held a smile.

Yami pretended to pout, "You always take away my fun." Then he smiled seriously, "All right I'll get straight to it, but I think I should do it alone." Seto nodded understandingly.

"No problem. I'll leave you two alone. Come get me when you're done though." He kissed him quickly, pulling away as Yugi had returned.

"Hey guys, sorry about that. Mai wanted to let us know we can get discounts on the specials since she works here now." Yami waved his finger in the air sarcastically, "Yay. If I ate like Joey I would be overrun with joy." Yugi blew a raspberry at him while Seto just laughed heartfully, partly at Yami's joke and partly at Yugi's reaction.

"Well, I'm interested in going to check out the cards. I'll leave you two alone so you can chat." Before Yugi could protest, he pivoted swiftly, making sure only Yami saw the smirk adorning his face. He strolled to the cases holding the cards dying to be bought.

Yugi gulped quietly, not very comfortable with being alone with Yami anymore. But there was nothing he could do right now. The taller one grabbed his arm gently, "Come on Yugi, let's finish this." The youth nodded softly, letting the older one lead him back to the chair he had been sitting in. He was relieved when Yami released his arm.

"Yami, what is going on?" Yugi was puzzled beyond belief and wanted some explanations.

Unlike earlier, the teasing face was gone. He was dead serious now. "Please sit down first Yugi." He did so quickly while Yami plopped down in a similar chair next to him.

Collecting his thoughts he looked at his light for a moment. Those eyes of his were so alluring. Such wide amethyst windows of purity that showed Yami all that no other could ever find. He spoke at last, "Yugi, the main reason I called you here was to ask you something. I know that you're probably freaked out by the way I was acting but I promise that will be answered."

Yugi relaxed a little; Yami was acting a bit more like his old self, but he was still terribly confused.

Yami continued, "Yugi, you know I'm with Seto, and I love him all the way through. But a while back we both realized something and after talking about it, we decided to take the next step forward. I would have asked you while I was in America but I figured it'd be best to ask you in person."

He looked deep into the purple orbs fixed on him, listening intently, "Yugi, you know why people flirt don't you?"

He was taken back by the question but answered quietly, "Of course I do; it means they have interest in someone."

"Then does that explain what I was doing?"

The tri-colored boy stared at him, "I-But I-I-You're with Seto…You have a boyfriend. Why would you do that to me?"

Yami frowned, "I believe you just answered that Yugi."

He continued, not really sure if what the Pharaoh was trying to say was true. "But I always thought you cared about me like…a friend…or a brother…not a…"

Yami finished, "A lover?"

He was quiet for a moment, "What?"

Yami smiled now, "A lover. That's the way I think of you Yugi, just like I think of Seto."

Yugi was completely baffled, "Yami, please get to the main point. You're confusing me."

Yami fixed his eyes firmly on his Hikari's, "Seto and I were wondering if you'd be interested in doing a threesome." He concluded, sitting back waiting for Yugi's response.

He had expected the shock that creeped into Yugi's face, and would have laughed if the moment wasn't so serious. The youth was terribly quiet, a rush of unsure emotions swimming through his unsorted head. Shaking his head a few long moments later he spoke softly at a leisurely pace,

"You…you and Seto…want me…to be with both of you…?" Yami nodded, "I know you must be confused and unsure, but we're not rushing you or forcing you."

Yugi never lost the bewildered expression, "Yami…are you guys both positive on that?"

"Of course we are young one. We wouldn't be asking if we weren't."

Yugi took a deep breath, "It sounds interesting…I'm just not completely sure. I'm not even experienced in a two way." He said.

His dark half nodded, "I understand Yugi, and I know the idea probably scares you, but we'd never push you too far when you're not ready."

Yugi smiled weakly, "Thanks Yami. That really assures me. But…" He paused for a breath, "Can I have a little time to think it over before I give you an answer?"

"Of course you can Yugi. Take all the time you need. Just be sure to get a hold of us once you decide." He glanced at the clock on the wall and got up slowly. "I'm sorry to take off but I promised Seto I'd help him run some errands. If you get anywhere tonight call me. I'll be at his house till nine or so." He hugged the small one, who returned it a little shakily. As he started to walk away he turned once more, "And Yugi, we won't be mad if you say no." With that, he joined his lover who had just purchased some cards and were out the door within minutes.

Yugi sat motionless in the chair. He had never expected Yami and Seto to come upon such a thing. He had heard about them and such but he never imagined himself in one. It sounded intriguing but he just wanted to sort out his kaleidoscope of emotions first. Getting up a while later, he bid Mai farewell and walked like a zombie to his house.

Yami sighed as he admired the sparkling stars swimming in the dark sea above them. He had been worried about Yugi all day. Seto knew he was concerned and did his best to reassure him. But even that wasn't enough for the ex-Pharaoh. He stretched out lazily in a cushioned chair facing the window, allowing a nice view of some of the city. He had been hoping for Yugi to call.

"Yami, I know you are worried and all but try to relax. Yugi will be all right as long as we let him figure this out. He'll call sooner or later." Seto told him calmly.

"I know…I just can't help it. Do you think we're pushing him too far Seto? I mean, he hasn't even been in a two way." He countered, holding his palms out.

Seto walked over slowly and took the open hands into his own. He locked their gazes together and spoke with much firmness for someone his age, "Yami, I understand where your concern is coming from but you need to calm down. Yugi wouldn't want you worrying yourself to death over that question. And I don't think we're pushing him. You told him that he had a choice, and he'll make it no matter what. Besides, we agreed to support what ever way he took and even if he isn't really experienced, we'll just have to take it slow."

Yami was touched; sometimes Seto's wisdom threw him off guard. But he was right, and he felt the stress retreat from his steady shoulders.

"Thank you Seto. You're right. I'll do my best to stay calm." He reached up for him and hugged the taller boy to him. The CEO held him tight and the two would have been lost in the embrace for had it not been the telephone ringing. Seto almost didn't let Yami go, until the spirit shot a firm look indicating it might be important. He released him instantly, and the Pharaoh rushed to the telephone.

"Hello?" He asked, half expecting it to be a business call for Seto.

"Hi, Yami?" A softer, unsteady voice popped up. Yami gasped quietly as soon as he recognized the voice on the other line.

"Yugi, hey it's me. What's up?" He replied, happy to hear from the younger boy.

"Well, you told me to call if I decided…Did I catch you at a…bad time…?" His tone was uneasy, but Yami figured it was only nervousness.

"No, no, we weren't doing much don't worry." He smiled, "Did you come to a decision yet Hikari?"

Through their link he felt Yugi's emotions mixing, but was quiet as the boy breathed softly. He had a feeling he was trembling just slightly on the other end.

"Yeah, I did Yami…I decided that…"
