Marik awoke to the strange sound of the shadow realm it was just a haunting eerie silence it could drive someone mad.

/I cried for nothing, I can't believe myself/

Mariku stood up and stared around at the darkness surrounding him.

/God this place is boring, I mean this is like hell only worse/

/God I'm bored and I'm stuck here for the rest of my life/

A tear slipped down Mariku's cheek as he thought that.

/Hmmmm I wonder what Marik is up to/

Marik sat on his couch of his apartment. He looked out the window.

Mariku…..I miss you, you were like a brother to me…..

Marik stared at the floor thinking about his Yami suffering.

Marik thought back when Yami defeated Mariku and sent him to the shadow realm. When he last saw Mariku he looked lost and alone and his eyes showed fear.

Marik's soul was empty without his Yami's he needed him back.

Marik twirled the millennium rod in his hands.

I'm coming to get you Mariku.

Marik opened a portal to the shadow realm and ran in to find his lost Yami.

Mariku sat there trying to stare at something but it was useless he couldn't see anything.

Mariku heard someone calling out to him.

/Marik is that you?/

Mariku heard a faint voice calling out his name

/Marik it is you!/

Marik heard someone calling his name.

*It must be mariku!*

Mariku I'm coming!!!

Mariku saw his hikari running towards him and tears began to stream down his face, someone would save him from this darkness.

Mariku!

Marik!

Marik jumped into Mariku's arms.

The true yami and hikari were finally together again. Without one the other can't survive.

Without light there can be no darkness.

Tears fell down both there faces.

Marik you forgive me don't you? I'm so sorry….

Mariku you were part of my soul and I couldn't live without you, no matter what my damn sister or baka pharoh said.

The hikari and Yami walked out of the dreaded shadow realm away from the darkness
