Chapter 2: Disappearance

Today was a normal sunny day today when I woke up from my bed, in my home. My alarm woke me from my sleep, and I definately need to get another one, since the alarm was wayyy to loud for my liking. I shut the alarm button off with my finger, and leaned to the side to look at what time it said on my alarm clock.

"8:00 am.." I mumbled, while still waking up. I wonder why I putted my clock to that set. I thought hard, but to no avail, I couldn't think of anything. Besides, I had a headache when I got up, must've banged my head against the wall. But never knew.. I yawned from my sleep, while I finally got up from my bed. Getting up, I made a biggg stretch, with my arms, legs, and back, it felt like I haven't exercised in days, but of course, I have been exercising almost every day. After my stretch, I felt like I was cold for some reason. I looked down, and I saw nothing but my underwear on. I was embarrassed a bit, since I went a little red. I found some clothes I can wear on the floor, some clothes I usually wear. I put on a black tight vest, and some Red Jeans I found lying on the floor. These clothes bring back memories, since I received it in a foreign place, but I'm back in Japan though. But there was a problem: I couldn't remember which place, everything was blank about it.

My name is Dragona, Age 16, Born on the year October 14. I'm a Sophomore in High School, as well as a Duel Monster's Duelist, I was the best in my neighborhood. I'm pretty much called the #1 Duelist in my town, since I've rarely been beaten. I also have a Rival in this village, and hes #2 in the village, so I get a good challenge from time to time from him. He usually has revenge on me, since I have one of my strongest cards: The Luster Dragon. Its a 2400/1600 (I think) with a 6 Star Tribute. I should also mention that Dragon cards are my absolute favorite, since they have tremendous power and they look very awesome, its just beyond words. But getting back to my social life...

When I finally thought about Yu-Gi-Oh, it rang in my mind. AH! I remember now! "The Duel Monster's tournament!" I said in amazement. How could I forget!? A card shop is holding a tournament for the champion that wins. The winner receives a box of Duel Monster packets, and prize money of 10,000 yen! I could get alot of good cards this way! And now that I remember fully, Its suppose to start at 9:00 am! I knew I should've woken up at 7:00 am.. I found some white socks on the floor, while I picked them up and put em on my feet. When I did that, I looked in a drawer of my dresser, where my deck was. I'll give you the details of that later though, right now, I'm going to be late! I grabbed my deck box with my cards in it, and closed the drawer. I looked around the room quickly, finding my white shoes. I found em under my bed. After that, I put them on. The card shop wasn't far but a few blocks. So, it should be smooth sailing. Oh, now that I think about it, I better tell my mother about this. I went out of my room, while the sun with its bright shine blind my eyes a bit, but my eyes started to get use to them. I walked over to my parent's bedroom, since I haven't heard any noise from downstairs, and that was a hint that they wearn't up yet. I opened the door, and I was right, they were still sleeping peacefully. I walked up to my mother and began speaking.

"Mother, wake up, I have something to tell you." I said, while it woke my mother up. She breathed in, and then out, since she just woke up.

"Mmm.. Dragona? Why are you up so early?" My mother said.

"I have to go to the Duel Monster's tournament being held a few blocks from here, can I go? All I need is some Yen too... And speaking of Yen, part of the prize is 10,000 Yen! C'mon.. All I need is like 200 Yen, and thats it. And its an easy walk from here." I begged her. She seemed to take her time to think about it, while I didn't have much time at all! I looked at my watch, and 15 minutes have already passed. After a few minutes, my mother came to a decision.

"Alright, grab the Yen off the kitchen table, and grab the cell phone as well, you'll need it just to make contact with me." After she said that, I rushed out of the room, and ran downstairs, where I almost tripped. I still had a headache, but there was no use complaining, because I needed that money, and the phone. When I got downstairs, I took a left, and another, to arrive in the kitchen. And from what I saw, was my mother's purse. Hmm, I see now, she wanted me to take some money from her purse. I don't think an extra 200 Yen would hurt.. I took 400 Yen out of my mother's purse, which isn't all that much, since I just needed some pocket money. And besides, theres a fee for the tournament in order to get in. It costs 200 yen to enter, so I should be glad I brought double the amount. After grabbing my money, and the cell phone, which was on the phone charger, I rushed out the door. And from what I was looking at, it was snowing outside, so I guess I shouldn't rush. But I decided to walk. My feet were getting a little deep in the snow today.

"Sigh, why of all days..." I said in disappointment. The snow got slippery these past few days. But I should be damn lucky I kept getting a day-off from High School due to this. I need a good break once in awhile. While I walked in the Snow, I looked at my watch, it read 8:45 am. I still have a little bit of time on me, but not much really.. I finally got to the road, where all the cars roam and all, but it seems almost deserted... Almost nothing was there. Hmm, I should pass the time to look at my cards, it'll past the time quickly.. I got out the deck from my pocket and looked at my cards:

After scanning through my deck, it seemed like I had everything, perfect. Now, I started crossing the road, but I felt like something was following me, or someone anyway. When I looked back, POW! My head got nailed with a club, knocking me unconscious. The only thing I saw were some black hooded figures, and that was it. And with me Unconscious, I didn't know what was going on. I felt like I was being carried or something, and I slammed on something hard, it felt metallic and cold. After that happened, I felt like I was moving, and I was freezing to my legs. Where I was now? I didn't know.
