dis is my first posted writing so hang with me. this poem was originally written after i read a Ryou/Bakura story, but u, as the reader, can put anyone else you like as the speaker. Like i said before, i wrote this as Ryou being the speaker, thus i labelled it under Yu-Gi-Oh. i hope y'all like it and forgive me if it isnt wat most of u all are used to.. please review?

You promised you'd keep me safe
You swore you'd never let me go.
You promised on your last breath
That you'd be here to protect.
But the question is
Who's going to protect me from you?
I told you my feelings
You said I was crazy.
That was two days ago
And I haven't seen you since.
What happened to your promise?
What happened to what you said?
Now I stand by the window
Watching the clouds go by.
My heart is saying `I miss you'
Yet my mind is saying `you don't care'
Where are you now
When I need you the most?
Can't you hear my cries?
Or are you just not listening?
I look down at the streets
I let out a little sigh.
Taking hold of my courage
I can now say `good-bye'.
In my fantasy
You're always here with me.
But in the cold harsh reality
You aren't to be seen.
I took one step up
I closed my brain.
The last thought I had
Was a memory of you.
I start to fall forward
Yet I never fell.
Arms went around my waist
I was being saved.
Being pulled from the window
My only escape.
You whisper `I'm sorry'
And the tears fell loose.
You held onto me tight
And tried to break down the wall.
But the pain is so hard, so tough
I just don't hear it anymore.
You start to whisper in my ear
Saying that you'll always be here.
I called you a liar
And I didn't want you near.
You looked me straight in the eye
And said you're sorry.
Never in my life
Would I have ever thought.
That my protector would be
The one I'd be running from.
