Chapter 4

Seto had been busy inventing a watch that wouldn't exactly cure Yugi, but make his behavior easier to understand, by turning whomever touched the very sensitive button on the inside of the watch's band get turned into a cat- person. It had two settings, age (Kitten Just Maturing, or Adult.) and sex (Male, Both, or Female.) However, he had forgotten to leave enough room for the reversal switch. Seto sat the watch on his desk, and headed downstairs for breakfast when he'd been done messing with it.

Soon, however Joey came into the room, "Seto? Seto, ya in here?", Joey asked.

He noticed the watch, and decided Seto wasn't there, so it was safe to try it on. Joey slipped it onto his wrist, and felt funny, before blacking out completely.

Seto entered the room, finding Joey had been in it and left a pile of his dirty pajamas in the room as well. "Filthy mutt.", Kaiba muttered, picking the pile of clothing off of the floor.

Only, something was moving inside of them and then a blonde head poked out from the clothing and two, large, slightly slitted eyes stared at him. "Joey hungry!!!!!", the now neko- kitten Joey cried out.

Um.... Right.... Seto snuck downstairs to grab some meat to give to Joey. Only Joey would eat it, and then throw it back up. "He's too young to eat solid food...", Seto muttered.

So, he tried any liquid product of milk, or formulated milk he could find, only none of them worked. He finally admitted to Yami about inventing the watch, and how Joey must have seen it, and how Joey must have tried it on and everything.... Including how he didn't know what type of formula was needed for Joey. "We'll figure something out... I just hope it's before Joey fades away....", Yami whispered.

Joey was set inside a basket. Day by day, he got weaker, thinner and his cries feeble from lack of nutrition....
