Chapter 2: Explanations

Diamante looked at him and nodded.

"How is that possible? Kaiba has all the Blue-Eyes in existence?!" Joey asked incredulously.

"My master is from America, there's more than four Blue-Eyes White Dragons there." Diamante answered.

"Seree, you have a deck?" Ryou asked.

"Y-Yes." Seree answered, still nervous about the creature in front of her.

Yami walked over and gestured to Diamante for permission to pat him on the neck. Diamante nodded and Yami walked over, petting the dragon while looking down at Seree,

"He won't hurt you, considering the fact that he's in your deck, you're his master and he must obey you." Yami explained noting that Seree had relaxed a bit.

"May I?" She asked, looking at her monster and putting her hand out.

"Of course, you're my master." Diamante said happily.

"That may be so, but you still have the right to say whether or not you want to be touched." Seree explained. "How did you come out anyway?" She asked.

"Your anger opened up the Shadow Realm." Yami answered her.

"How, I thought only shadow powers could open the Realm." She questioned.

"When your anger rose, all the magickal energies that you have within you hit their peak and your anger kinda changed that energy into something similar to shadow powers." Yami explained.

"Okaaay, well, can we do something fun before we have to close it?!" She asked with a look of mischief on her face.

"I don't know if I like that look on your face." Yami said warily.

"I say we play war!" Cyber suggested.

"That may not be a good idea." Yami shot it down causing Cyber to pout.

"How about we jump through a ring of fire." Llama suggested.

"That would be too dangerous for humans to play." Dark explained.

"How about hide n' seek?" Seree suggested.

"I don't know…" Yami started.

"Oh, come on, it'll be fun and it'll get my mind off my mom's death." Seree persisted.

"Oh, alright, but be careful, stay away from any dangerous monsters, I don't want you guys getting hurt." Yami agreed but warned Seree, Ryou, Yugi, Tristan, and Joey.

They all hid and waited for their monsters to find them. Yugi and Ryou were found very quickly by Dark and Corazon. They looked over to see their yamis smirking.

"No fair! Yami told you where I was!" Yugi pouted to Dark.

"Corazon! You cheat!" Ryou shouted while glaring at Bakura.

Cyber then found Tristan and Llama found Joey; the only problem was; they couldn't find Seree. Not even Diamante could find her when he tried to sense her. A scream brought their attention to one of the far ends of the realm where they saw a lot of white light before darkness quickly covered it. They ran over to the area to find Seree throwing white light at a shadow ghoul and a man with light blonde hair laughing at her pathetic attempts.

"Malik!" Ryou shouted, grabbing the man's attention.

"That's not Malik, Ryou; it's Ishtar!" Bakura said angrily.

"Oh, hello Bakura." Ishtar said nonchalantly.

"What the hell are you doing?!!" Bakura asked seething.

"I'm having some fun; what does it look like I'm doing?!" Ishtar answered sarcastically.

Bakura looked over to Seree who was severely cut up on her arms and legs and she had some deep scratches on her right side. Seree looked very weak and she was fighting to stay conscious.

"It looks like you're hurting my hikari's cousin, and my friend!" Bakura answered angrily.

"Oh, she's you're hikari's cousin, and your friend huh? Looks like I get some bonus points." Ishtar said calmly while stepping closer to Seree.

It was at that point that Diamante got in front of his master and blew a white lightning attack at the shadow ghoul, destroying it.

"Leave my master alone!!" He said angrily

Ishtar was confused; Kaiba had all the Blue-Eyes in existence. He ignored Diamante and took another step towards Seree. Diamante snapped, he swung his tail behind Ishtar's feet making him fall backwards and pinned him down with his right, front foot.

"I said, leave my master alone!" He seethed.

Ishtar looked up at Diamante in fear, before vanishing from the Shadow Realm. Bakura walked over and gently picked up Seree who had fallen unconscious. Yami walked out and closed the Shadow Realm when everyone was out. The monsters however, stayed in their home and tried to comfort a worried Diamante.

"I warned her about the dangerous monsters." Yami stated.

"How about we just ask her what happened when she's better." Ryou suggested.

"Alright, I guess it's possible that it wasn't all her fault; we didn't even know Ishtar was there." Yami agreed. "Maybe Ishtar decided to hurt her for his own amusement." He finished.

Seree came to and moaned in severe pain. To the other's surprise, her body started healing itself; little sparkles of white light surrounded each scratch one by one, and healed them. Unfortunately her body's ability to heal itself also caused her to become weaker and the scratches on her right side remained unhealed.

"Yami, go to the bathroom and get me some bandages, would you please." Ryou asked of Bakura.

Bakura left and returned a few minutes later with the first aid kit. Ryou started putting ointment on the scratches causing Seree to hiss in pain, but she was too weak to move away. Ryou then took the bandages and wrapped them around her ribs. After she was bandaged, Ryou and the others left. Diamante came out of the Shadow Realm on Seree's mental wish, and stood by her bedside. Seree opened her eyes a bit and patted him on the nose, giving him a weak smile.

"Master, is there anything I can do?" He asked softly.

"No, not unless you have white magick at your disposal to heal my side." Seree answered weakly.

Diamante then glowed a bright white and Seree had to cover her eyes. When the light faded, Diamante nudged her into a sitting position. Seree looked up at him confused.

"I'm a light type monster which gives me the ability to heal a person who uses light or white magick; like you." Diamante explained.

Understanding, she dismissed him back to the Shadow Realm and laid back down to go to sleep. She awoke to the sound of the doorbell ringing and she heard Joey and Tristan giving happy cheers as well as the sound of two young women laughing. Seree sat up slowly and swung her legs over the side of the bed standing on her legs. Her legs couldn't support her weight though and she fell to the floor. Everyone downstairs heard the sound of someone, or something hitting the floor and Ryou raced up to Seree's room. He opened the door and walked in to see Seree sitting on the floor with a look of annoyance on her face. Before Ryou could ask, Seree mumbled,

"So much for walking." In an upset tone.

"Seree, your side is healed?" Ryou said knowing that he just bandaged her ribs that afternoon.

"I asked Diamante to come and visit me and he healed my side since he's a light type monster." Seree explained.

"Why were you trying to walk anyway, your body is still way too weak." Ryou asked.

"I wanted to walk down and greet the two young ladies that just came over a few minutes ago." Seree answered.

"Oh, well, I'll help you back onto the bed and have them come up here to meet you instead, how about that?" Ryou suggested.

"Well, it's better then letting my curiosity drive me insane." Seree said as Ryou helped her back to the bed.

A few minutes later, Ryou returned with Yami, Yugi, Bakura, Joey, Tristan, and the two young women behind him.

"I thought you were going to introduce me to the ladies, I already know the other five." Seree said.

"This is no time to be sarcastic Seree; they all wanted to see how you were feeling." Ryou stated. "This is Mai, and this is Serenity; Serenity's Joe's little sister." Ryou said pointing to the blonde and the redhead standing on either side of him.

"Nice to meet you." Both women said at the same time.

"Ditto." Seree replied.
