(You see, this is what happens when I get into a creepy mood after just getting up. If last chapter didn't tell you how twisted I am, this one should. *sighes* Well, here goes nothin!)

-~^GOZABURO'S POV(What'd I tell ya?)^~-

I let the door close softly behind me, not wanting to alert the boys that I'm home. I'd called Sugoroku and found that Seto had asked that Mokuba stay at the Game Shop again tonight via Yuugi. The kid's smart, I'll give that to him. I was going to ask the same thing. I mean, I'm pretty sure Mokuba has at least some idea of what's been going on, but he plays the innocent one so well, I'll let them all get away with it, for now. This is like the games I used to play with Noa, where I'd let him get away with stuff, thing he was safe from me, till, one day, I'd catch him and make him regret his disobedience.

I also had a nice long chat with the principal after my meeting, which I'd returned to after dropping my boys off here, and he'd agreed to drop the suspension after I'd pointed out that it was a drastic measure on his part. Actually, I threatened his job and his life to make him see my way, but I won't tell Seto or Noa that, although I can already guess that Noa would know me better than that by now. Normally, I'd force them to carry out their suspension, but Seto had been correct in accusing the principal of his grudge against me, and the boy also had a good point that it was unfair to them. I may be hard on my boys, but I hate people who go through my son to get to me, and I do fix it, in any way I can. That was something my father never did for me.

I glance over at the couch as I enter the living room. Noa is curled up in Seto's arms and both are fast asleep. It's becoming obvious to me, just as Mokuba's knowledge of the situation is not what it appears, Seto's and Noa's relationship is no longer what it appears. I catch it when they don't think I'm paying attention, or when they just don't realize that they're giving themselves away. A boy their own age, and even some older than them, probably wouldn't catch the small hints that there's some deeper bond than just being brothers that holds them together.

I'd realized a long time ago, when Noa was about four, that my son was going to be gay. It didn't bother me, since I'd been known to like guys throughout my whole life. What really bothered me was that it meant that he'd probably have sex before he was sixteen, because guys are just like that. I was bound and determined to keep Noa as far away from other guys that he might be attracted to for as long as I could. I got nervous about his gay friends, and looked into their backgrounds. I decided that, for the most part, they were safe, but there were two among them that weren't with anyone. I learned to hate them all and tried to keep Noa away from them, which only made him all the more determined to see them.

In hopes of ending this game, I collected a few brothers for Noa. If he had brothers, he probably wouldn't get with them in a sexual manner, and he'd stay away from his other friends. Sadly, it was not to be so. I noticed the attraction between Seto and Noa immediately, and strived to destroy it. I probably should have tried harder to make them sleep in their own rooms, but I doubt it would have stopped them. Seto had a point this morning, my moving him to a separate room isn't going to make separating them any easier, but it will make them more determined to get closer together.

In some form of jealousy for my son's heart, I raped him. When I couldn't rationalize the reason behind my actions, behind my words, I dedicated myself to the work I was supposed to be doing in New York. But then he got home late, and I was angry again, so I hurt him again. I don't know why I was so happy, I would have preferred banging my head on a wall. And he was gone when I got back, and I knew why, and I'd asked at the front desk to confirm. Seto had, somehow, managed to collect my room's key from the front and gone into my room to get Noa. So, out of guilt, I guess, I allowed Seto to think he'd beaten me. And we got home, me playing along with their normal game again, and found myself in a rage at how much closer my two older sons had become. So I took Noa again, this time knowing that Seto was watching, hearing their combined screams, enjoying it....

I hate it. So, as if to make up for what I'd done, I'd left for work the next morning, poking my head into their room long enough to make sure they were sleeping soundly, but the sight of them sleeping together, got to me, and I made sure that at least Seto was awake. When Noa had called at my work, I was still beating myself over the head, so snapped at him, snapped at Seto, then, as if to make up for my snapping, I let them have their way, and they had their friends over. I almost wish that June hadn't spotted me, but I guess it was bound to happen. So I let them off easy, and went to check on them that night. I was surprised that they were sleeping in separate beds, but I have a feeling it had to do with Noa's caution to not letting me see them together. He would be the most likely to make sure I'd never find out, whereas Seto would probably just say screw it and throw their relationship in my face.

Seto is a character. When I think I have him figured, he does something different. I'd looked up on him and found that he'd been raped while he was at the orphanage by an older boy, and that Mokuba didn't know. Seto grew up protecting his little brother in any and every way possible, and when he couldn't save Mokuba, he'd take as much of the pain that he could away from his little brother. He would egg bullies on to give his brother escape time, or just to cause the most trouble so he was their main target, rather than Mokuba. He'd learned to hold his own among older kids and adults, and that showing fear was his enemy. He'd become semi cold to the world about him, other than Mokuba and had refused to have him and his brother separated, no matter what. He was a smart boy and had a fierce side to him, which was probably what makes him stand up to any challenge and put his own self on the line.

I turn away from them and walk into the kitchen. I know their weak spots. Mokuba, each other, their mutual friends, but I'm not so cruel as to go after innocents to get to them. That's just like the principal suspending them to get at me. I nod to Julia, another servant, as she bows to me. "How long have they been like that?" I ask, motioning towards my sons.

"Oh, they came in and sat on the couch. They've been asleep a couple hours. Do you want me to wake them, sir?"

"No, no...." I smile back at them. They look so peaceful. "Let them sleep for now. It's been a hard week."

Julia nods to me. "Of course. Would you like me to get you something, sir?"

I glance down at the briefcase I'd forgotten I was holding. "Some tea. I'll be in my office. When they wake, do send them up to me." I request. Julia bows and I go upstairs to work.

-~^(Scared yet?)NOA'S POV^~-

I wake up in Seto's arms, and just stay there, plenty content to just go back to sleep. Then I remember. ~Suspended, Gozaburo, couch....Shit!~ I glance over at the clock and let out a soft cry. ~He's home! He's already home! Oh no!~

"Noa?" Seto stirs and looks at my panicked expression. "Noa! What's wrong?" He hugs me tightly. "What's wrong, koi?"

"No..no...." I pull away from Seto and stumble to my feet. "He's home, Seto. H-he saw us cu-cuddling like that a-an-and...."

Seto forces our eyes to meet. "Noa, calm down. If he saw us, we'd have been awake long ago, and in a lot of pain. He's probably upstairs, working. It's okay." He says soothingly. I feel myself relaxing at his words, seeing the point behind them, and I nod.

"Oh, good, you're up." Julia walks into the room, smiling, her short brown hair swinging across her face lightly. "Kaiba-sama requests that you join him in his office."

I feel my fear rising again. "Oh....." I manage.

"He's in a good mood, actually." Julia offers. "And he did let you two sleep. I think he thought it was cute."

"He did see us...." I mumble.

Seto sighs. "Arigatou, Julia. We'll go up shortly." Julia nods and goes into the kitchen. Seto turns back to me. "Noa, it's okay. We're in this together, remember? We can't hide from him, he'll soon know we're up, so let's just get this over with." I nod quietly, scared still. Seto takes my hand in his. "I'm not letting go, okay? I'm not going to let go of you. I promise."

I nod and grip his hand lightly. "Not letting go. Okay. Let's go."

Seto smiles and we walk up to Gozaburo's office. Seto knocks firmly. "Come in, boys." Gozaburo's voice floats out to us. He doesn't sound angry.

"How'd you know it was us?" Seto inquires. I almost smack him.

"Your knock, the servants are more timid. And your footsteps in the hall, there were two of you." Gozaburo replies, shrugging. He nods to two chairs. "Sit."

Seto and I pull the chairs next to one another, then sit, still holding hands. "Are you mad?" I venture.

"Yes and no." Gozaburo sighs and looks at us over his work. Then he sets down his pen and leans back in his chair. "I'm mad at you for getting in trouble, but I'm proud you both stood up for yourselves, and Yuugi-kun." He fixes his gaze on Seto. "Even if it meant talking back to a principal."

"Well, he was being unfair." Seto grumbles.

Gozaburo smiles slightly. "I know. Your principal and I had a talk earlier. You two will be at school on Monday."

"You threatened him." I say bluntly.

"Ah....."Gozaburo chuckles, running a hand over his chin. "You know me too well, Noa. Yes, I threatened him."

Seto snorts. "And how does that help? Now he has even more of a grudge."

I sigh. "Gozaburo won't stand for people using us to get to him. If someone holds a grudge, they need to deal with him, not us. It's the way he works." I explain calmly. Julia was right, he's in a good mood.

"Exactly." He gives me an odd look. "How'd you figure that out?"

"Kaiba policy. Don't let others get you through what's yours, only let them get you through yourself." I grumble.

Gozaburo laughs. "I forgot about telling you that. I'm surprised you'd connect it."

"I'm not a stupid Kindergardener. I have a brain."

"I see that." Gozaburo glances down at our entwined hands. "Out of curiosity, how many times have you two had sex?"

"Na-Nani?!" I gape at him.

Seto narrows his eyes. "What sort of question is that?"

Gozaburo raises an eyebrow at us. "I'm not going to strangle you, Noa, calm down. Seto, I can ask whatever sort of questions I want in my household. Your job is to answer it, not question it."

"Ichido...." I whisper. "In New York."

Gozaburo studies me. "When?"

"After the second time...." I turn my eyes to look at Seto's and my hands.

"I see."

"Why haven't you hurt us yet?" Seto asks.

"You think I'm going to hurt you for standing up for yourselves and loving one another?"

"You looked royally pissed when you picked us up today." Seto points out. I still refuse to look anywhere but our combined hands.

"I was, and watch your language in my house."

"Mansion." I mumble automatically.

"You use it all the time." Seto complains.

"I'm an adult. You're not. Watch your language." Gozaburo replies. "Noa, I'll call this place what I want, stop correcting me continuously."

"Mansion...." I mumble again.

"Noa, look at me." Gozaburo asks. I don't move my gaze. I hear him get up and walk around the desk to kneel before my chair. I can tell, somehow, that Seto is glaring at him. Gozaburo takes my chin in one hand and makes me look at him. "What is it?"

"I don't get you. You hurt me, and then you're nice. You make a point of claiming me as yours, then you let me be with Seto. I feel like I'm being played with, and I don't like it." I tell him, narrowing my eyes.

Gozaburo considers me thoughtfully. "You are mine, but I don't mind you being with Seto so much, since I can keep an eye on you."

I shake my head. "I don't get it."

"......Family......" Seto mumbles. "I don't want to lose Mokuba-chan. Gozaburo doesn't want to lose Noa." I look at him questioningly. "You said it yourself. Gozaburo's okay with Yuugi-kun because you'll probably stay no more than friends. He doesn't like Jako, Fradt, and the others because they might go for you, and they'd force you to be away from home more often. He's okay with us, because we live together, so he'll still have you at home."

"How does that work?" I glare at Gozaburo.

Gozaburo ruffles my hair. "Kaiba policy. Don't let others get what's yours, unless you want them to have it."

"Oh....yeah....." I make a face. "Can we go now?"

"No." Gozaburo walks back to his chair and sits down to look at us again. "We have a few more things to discuss, but I need to call someone first." He picks up to phone and dials a quick number. I glance at Seto and he shrugs. I look back as Gozaburo puts the phone on speaker. "Apologize, now." He growls at the phone.

"Fine, fine." Our principal's voice floats over to us. "Boys, I'm sorry I used you like that. It won't happen again."

"Not nice enough. Try again." Gozaburo hisses before Seto or I can say anything.

"What do you want me doing, Kaiba? Begging for their mercy?"

"You're begging for mine. Get to it." Gozaburo replies.

"Boys, I'm extremely sorry for the way I treated you today. Do forgive me. I swear it won't happen again." He tries again in a voice laced with honey.

"I don't think-" Gozaburo starts on him again.

"Gozaburo!" I give my father a look. "It was fine."

Gozaburo returns the glare, but nods anyway. "Fine." He hangs up, still glaring at me. "What's with you?"

"He's only human! The first time was enough, the second overly much, a third would have been cruel!" I replied angrily.

"He has a point." Seto agrees.

"Humph!" Gozaburo rests his elbows on his desk, the tips of his fingers meeting to make a tent, and leans forward to look at us seriously. "We need to discuss your continuous wantings to have your friends over."

"What about it?" Seto asks curiously.

"This presents a problem. If they come over on a bad day..." Gozaburo starts.

"Maybe you just need to learn to control your temper." Seto shoots back.

"Seto!" I gape at him.

Gozaburo glares at Seto. "You don't want me to come over there."

"What will you do? Smack me?" Seto growls. "I'm not scared of you, Gozaburo."

Gozaburo stands smoothly and walks over to Seto, standing in front of him. "I know how to get to you, Yagami Seto. Don't force pain on yourself."

"You know nothing about me!" Seto shouts.

"Urusei!" I place a hand over Seto's mouth. "Gozaburo, please sit down?"

Gozaburo turns and walks back to his chair. "I know more than you think." He sits down. "I know where your uncle lives, for one thing, and who his current boyfriend is. I know all about your aunt that dumped you and your brother at the orphanage. I also happen to know you were raped two years ago by a boy with the last name of Etogu, who will be released from prison in eight years. Shall I go on?"

Seto had paled considerably. "How do you know all that?" He manages after a few minutes of silence.

"Your aunt's and uncle's names are in the orphanage's records, which they gave me when I adopted you. Kaiba Corporation's fingers reach almost the whole Earth, so it took me about two minutes to learn about your uncle, especially after Noa told me he was gay. Your aunt has changed her name since dumping you two, so she took closer to an hour to track down, but I did find her. She's married and lives in America with a girl, if you'd care to know. The rape was also in the orphanage records, as they are required to make note of such things." Gozaburo explains calmly, reclining back in his chair. "Anymore questions?"

"Yeah. Can I call my uncle?" Seto asks, having calmed himself while Gozaburo spoke.

"Maybe later." Gozaburo's lips twitch into a smile. "And I do believe your ototo would like to speak to him as well." He adds.

"Yeah..... Mokuba-chan would love that..." Seto smiles slightly.

"Your friends." Gozaburo starts. Seto and I look at him quietly. "You can have them over, if you check with me first. If I say no, I mean no. Keep that in mind." We nod. "No sleepovers over here, although I may allow you to spend the night at the Game Shop if Yuugi-kun asks." He looks at me as I open my mouth. "No."

"You don't even know what I'm going to ask." I grumble.

"You may not spend the night at your deli-err-other friends' house."

"Damnit." I scuff my foot along the wood floor.

"Watch your mouth."

"Gomen."

"Same rules apply for Mokuba. Make sure he knows." Gozaburo stands.

"Can we go, then?" Seto inquires as Gozaburo moves around the desk.

Without a reply, he kneels before me. I tense, afraid of what he might do. Seto's hand squeezes mine reassuringly. Gozaburo looks so sad as he looks upon my face. "I never meant for this to happen." He whispers, his hands coming up to cup my face. "I'm so sorry, Noa.....I'm so sorry...."

The look in his eyes tells me he's telling the truth. I let out a small sob and pull my hand from Seto's to hug my father. "Chichiue....."
