A/N - Thanks to everyone who reviewed! But just so you know, I'm trying to do this the way it fits to my plot and most of this is written on pure inspiration. Some of you keep telling me to fix the way someone speaks, acts or thinks, but you don't understand that they're ALL OOC! Just to make it clear, after everything that happened, the characters just can't act like their normal selves, I'll try and get them back to normal soon. No I'm not pointing any fingers, but some of you might just be afraid to ask.^^ Please r/r! (ps, this has character death.)

Not Who They Seem To Be, Chapter 10

(Normal point of view.)

Yugi hung up the phone, he was just talking to Bakura. Apparently he was having troubles with Ryou and didn't want to leave him alone. He said it would be best if they came down to the hospital anyway, the problem was there.

"I'll stay here with Yami, we don't want him to close to the source and I don't want him to hurt anyone." Seto said. He continued to hold Yami on his lap and stroke his hair.

"We'll let you know what happens." Yugi said. Then he and the others left the mansion and headed back to the hospital to meet up with Bakura.

"Bakura!" Yugi called as he and the others ran into the room. Bakura motioned for them to be quiet and pointed to the bed where Ryou was sleeping.

"Sorry." They whispered. The others were directing it more towards Ryou than Bakura, but at that point Bakura could care less.

"Come with me." Bakura said. He led them out of Ryou's room and down the hall to Téa's room. When they were inside, Bakura told him what he needed to do in order to stop Téa.

"But you can't! She's been our friend for so long! We can't just let you kill her!" Tristan protested. Bakura sighed.

"I'm afraid it isn't an option. If we don't kill her soon, she'll die and take Yami with her. Though I wouldn't mind that scenario, I'm sure your opinion states otherwise." Bakura said. The others looked at each other and at Yugi, silently debating whether or not to let their friend die.

"I'll understand if none of you want to do this, I can do it for you...I actually think I might like that." Bakura grinned. The others looked at him in fright and disgust but nodded. None of them could kill a lifetime friend no matter how annoying they were or what they did. It just wasn't right.

"Very well. I think you should stand outside while I do this." Bakura warned. They all walked out, minus Malik and his Yami.

"What are you two still doing here?" Bakura asked.

"We want to watch. Also, I think you might like to use this." Malik's Yami said and handed his millennium rod over to Bakura. The two of them watched as Bakura's eyes gleamed with a shine that could only be described as insane.

He walked over to Téa's sleeping body and took out the rod, removing the cover to turn it into a knife.

"This time, you will feel the pain." Bakura growled. He lifted the rod up into the air and plunged it down, directly into Téa's heart. Her eyes flew open and she let out a muffled scream. Her eyes closed once more as Bakura ripped the knife from her chest. He grinned at the blood all over her chest and the thin red line falling down her cheek from the corner of her mouth. He smirked and wiped off the blood on a clean part of the bed sheet and handed the rod back to Malik's Yami. Both he and his other half were grinning in satisfaction, seemed they had some hidden hate for Téa as well.

The three of them headed out and met the other four in the hallway.

"She's dead." Bakura said. When they went to check, he and Malik blocked the way and shook their heads.

"You don't want to see it." Malik warned. Joey wanted to go look, but one glance at how worried Yugi was changed his mind.

"You should go see how Yami is doing." Bakura said. He nodded to Malik and his Yami, telling them they should go too; he needed to be alone with Ryou anyways.

After the others left, Bakura headed down the hall, back to Ryou's room and used the bathroom inside it. He needed to clean off all the blood that had gotten on his hands and his clothes, thankfully it came out easily.

He held back a yelp as he felt someone wrap their arms around him from behind.

"I didn't mean to scare you, 'Kura." Ryou said. Bakura turned in the embrace to get a look at Ryou.

"You should be in bed." Bakura said seriously.

"I don't want to go back in bed. It's cold and the blankets are itchy." He complained. Knowing that Ryou didn't complain very often, Bakura chose to let him stay.

"Are you feeling better then?" He asked. Ryou nodded.

"The cuts weren't deep enough. I can barely feel them now. Can you take me home?" Ryou asked. Bakura sighed.

"They won't let you go." He said. Ryou pouted. Bakura had to admit that Ryou did look cute when he did that. "Fine, fine. Let's get you your clothes and sneak out of here. These lights are hurting my eyes." Bakura said. Ryou smiled for the first time in what seemed like weeks and hugged his Yami tightly before heading off to find his clothes.

"What were you doing when you were gone?" Ryou asked as he was getting some clothes on. They were from the bag that they had brought earlier; black pants and white t-shirt.

"Getting rid of an evil pest." Bakura sneered.

"Yami?" Ryou asked, rather calmly.

"No. The thing that was controlling him." Bakura said. "Téa." He added when he saw the confused look on Ryou's face.

"Téa? What did you do to her and why was she controlling Yami?" Ryou asked. He grabbed his bag and walked over to Bakura, waiting for an answer.

"She was controlling him because she wanted revenge on you, Yugi and Yami. She said you and the other two rejected her." Bakura said. Ryou nodded.

"I remember that. I almost felt bad, she seemed so desperate, but when I found out what she had been trying to do to Yami and Yugi, I wasn't guilty anymore." Ryou said. The two of them went into the hallway and looked for any sign of doctors.

"Hey Yami, look. There's police and doctors down there." Ryou pointed down the hall to where Téa's room was.

"Good, now we can get through the front without trouble." Bakura said. He grabbed Ryou's upper arm gently to lead him to the front doors.

"Excuse me, is that a patient?" The nurse at the front desk asked. Bakura and Ryou stopped. They were caught.

"Yes it is." Bakura said calmly.

"Well, you have to sign here saying you've checked him out before leaving." The nurse said. Bakura heard Ryou sigh in relief as they headed to the desk to sign the paper the nurse was holding out.

"There. Is that alright?" He asked. She nodded and told them they could leave. Bakura led Ryou out of the hospital quickly, just to be on the safe side, and took him over to Seto's.

"We need to check on Yami, he should be alright now." Ryou shot him a look of pure fright and stopped walking, becoming a dead weight and refusing to move.

"It's alright, Ryou. Yugi and the others will be there and so will I. Yami can't hurt you." He assured. Ryou looked at him nervously, but followed him slowly and cautiously.

"Is he alright?" Bakura asked when he and Ryou walked into the room where everyone was gathered. They had moved from the room they were in before to the living room downstairs. The lights were dim, a large difference from the buzzing fluorescent lights at the hospital, both Bakura and Ryou were thankful. Instead, there were candles and a fire built.

"He's fine now, thanks to you. He had woken up when we got back, but fell asleep. He was tired." Seto said gently. He was sitting with Yami on the couch, Yami curled up against him.

"He doesn't remember anything. Not really anyways." Yugi said quietly. They were on all sitting on various pieces of furniture. Tristan and Mai on their own chairs, Yugi and Joey curled next to each other on one sofa across from Seto and Yami and Malik and his Yami curled up on the floor, wrapped in a blanket in front of the fire. It was getting colder as winter was approaching.

"I thought you were in the hospital, Ryou?" Yugi asked. Ryou chuckled.

"I got 'Kurato sign me out, those places make me uneasy." Ryou said. Yugi seemed to brighten at the more cheerful tone Ryou had.

"Speaking of which, there were a lot of police officers at Téa's room. Would you like me to make them forget?" Bakura asked. They all looked at him strangely but agreed that it would be best if no one remembered what happened.

"Alright, I'll leave Ryou with you and go back to the hospital." Bakura said. He kissed Ryou on the cheek and left the house.

"What was that all about, Ryou?" Seto asked. The others looked at him, all wondering the same thing.

"I..." Ryou started.

"He loves Bakura." Yugi answered. Ryou flashed him a small smile of gratitude for answering the question. He was glad that Yugi didn't have any problems with it.

There were a few murmurs around the group, minus Yugi, Malik and his Yami, but Ryou guessed that they had finally accepted his Yami, for no one said anything more about it.

About thirty minutes later, Bakura returned, grinning smugly to himself.

"There, all done. Now, if you don't mind I think Ryou should be getting home now." Bakura said. Ryou nodded and stood up from the place where he was sitting next to Malik and walked over to Bakura, carrying his bag.

"Let's go, 'Kura." Ryou said. He waved to everyone and left with Bakura, walking home.

When they were finally in Ryou's room at last, they changed into more comfortable clothes to sleep in and crawled into bed.

"Thank you for everything, 'Kura. I couldn't have done it without you." Ryou whispered as he curled up next to his Yami, resting his head on his chest.

"You're welcome, Ryou. I love you." Bakura whispered back. Ryou smiled in the dark and leaned closer into his Yami.

"I love you too."

A/N - Okay, this one was kinda weird...but anyways, I think this is almost done, one or two more chapters left. Please r/r! As always, I'll be happy to clear up any questions.
