Chapter 8

Seto thought about what Yami had said while riding the bus to school the next day, if he had to admit everything that was tying himself to this plane... Then, that meant his worse secrets. 'Yami?', Seto asked timidly, 'Is it alright if I tell you one of my secrets?',

'Sure, go ahead, I won't tell even Yugi about it.', Yami said.

Seto waited until he felt the link to Yugi shut down, then began to tell his whole story about his adoptive Father, from start to finish. Seto felt like crying as he finished the tale, only barely holding his tears back. Yami stroked his mind with comforting thoughts, and images sent through the link.... 'It's not your fault that man was such a jerk.', Yami told him, 'Thank- you for telling me your story.',

Now that that was done, Seto had to admit to two more people secrets he held from them for a long while. At least Yugi had gotten Ryou to be cheerful again.

In the hallway, he had his chance to get a hold of Ryou, and Bakura at the same time... He slowly walked up to the two of them, being sure to completely close his link to both Yami, and Yugi as he did so. He heard the mental click of it being turned off. "Ryou, Bakura I.... I have always.... Always loved you, not as friends, but as... I've always wanted you to know that I dream about you two both taking me at the same time and I...", Seto shrugged a little.

Both of them looked shocked for a while, before both kissed Seto one on each cheek. "Glad you admitted it, koi.", Both whispered into his ears.

Seto suddenly felt as if a weight had been lifted off of himself, and all that kept him here now was Yugi....

Seto eventually did get shown that Ryou and Bakura both loved him too. And when it came time for Yugi to die, Yami, and Seto both grinned at each other. "I hope I get to see Ryou and Bakura again.", Seto sighed.

"You will, they've already moved on.", Yami replied.

With that the three went together to face what lay beyond death... Seto happy to be at peace after years of being in the living world.
