Author Notes: This is dedicated to journeymaker, who gave me the song Bakura sings for Atemu. journeymaker, I'm sorry but I figured the song was better for a couple already together, so that's why I did this.

Pieces Of Me

“Bakura, why did you have to go?” Atemu whined into the phone.

Bakura sighed. “Because Yaten wanted a little bonding session with me and Ryou. He also is looking for someone, I don't know whom though. Anyway, did you get the package I sent you yet?” He asked, looking around him. He was currently in the Domino Airport, waiting for their plane to come.

Atemu blinked. “What package?” he asked, going to the front door and seeing a package on the floor. “Yeah, I got it. What is it?”

Bakura smirked. “You'll see. Here's a hint though: I'm not going to be able to call for awhile, so this is to help you remember my voice.” He said, pouting.

Atemu frowned. “Weird, but alright. When can I open it?” he asked, knowing his lover would have a time set.

“Ah, you're learning! Good boy!” Bakura cooed, smirking. “But you open it before you go to bed, so you'll dream about me.” He said, looking up as Ryou came over.

“I always dream of you.” Atemu said, completely serious.

“That's cute. But, the plane came so I have to go. Bye love” Bakura said, sad.

Atemu pouted. “Bye-bye.” He answered, before hanging up the phone. He sighed and picked up the package, and going up stairs. He was pushed to the said as some one came into the store though. “Ow, damn it!” he yelled, before looking at whom ever pushed him. “Kaiba, what are you doing here?” he wondered.

“I'm here for Yugi. He said he'd tutor me in Social Studies.” Seto said, shuddering. “I hate Social Studies.”

Atemu smiled. “I know, but Yugi's not here. He went out with Malik and Mariku. He's over at their house.” He explained. Seto scowled but nodded, leaving the game shop. Atemu watched him go before shaking his head. “He has a crush on Yugi.” He said. Atemu lifted his head in realization. “And Yugi likes him back.” He said slowly. He smirked, “I wonder what Bakura would do.”

He thought for a second and had a little vision of Bakura scowling. “I would get them together dumb ass! With Yugi doing the main thing. Kaiba's awkward about his emotions.” Vision Bakura said, glaring down at Atemu. Atemu nodded and thought for a while, before smiling.

“I know exactly what to do.” He shouted, before realizing what he had done. He looked down the hallway to see if Yugi's grandpa had woken up. He sighed in relief when the old man didn't come shuffling down the hallway. “To the phone!” he whisper-shouted, making sure noone but himself could hear it. He walked to the phone and dialed a number, waiting for some one to pick up.

With The Ishtars And Yugi:

Malik looked up as his phone rang. He got up and went over to it, picking it up. “Hello?” he asked, looking at the other two. Mariku looked bored and Yugi looked curious.

“Malik? Get Mariku on the other phone, now.” Atemu ordered.

Malik pouted. “Fine, mister bossy-man.” He then looked at his yami. “Mariku, on to the other phone. Mister bossy-pants wants to talk to us.” Malik said, making sure Atemu could hear his last sentence.

Mariku raised an eyebrow at the name put nodded, getting up and leaving the room. “What's going on?” Yugi asked, his eyes big and round. Malik felt himself being drawn into the cuteness before he shook his head.

“Damn it Yugi, don't do that! Anyway, Isis wants to talk to Mariku and me. I said “mister” because it pisses her off.” Malik explained.

Yugi nodded. “Alright.”

Malik nodded as well and left the room going back to the phone. “Alright, what do you want?” he demanded, confused.

Atemu scowled but sighed. “I need your help in getting Yugi and Seto together.”

“Will that pairing even work?” Mariku wondered, leaning against the wall in the kitchen.

“Of course it will! I mean, Atemu and Bakura work, don't they? And their pairing is just plain weird.” Malik said, absolutely enjoying making fun of Atemu.

“Alright, I get it. I'm sorry for being so bossy.” Atemu said, upset about the slight towards his relationship.

Malik smiled. “Apology accepted. So, what's your plan? And why is Kaiba coming towards the house?” Malik asked as he looked out the window.

“Because he's looking for Yugi. Yugi promised to tutor him in Social Studies.” He said, causing Malik to shudder.

“I hate Social Studies.” He told them as he moved towards the font hall. He opened the door to see Seto standing there with his fist raised. Malik raised an eyebrow but pointed towards the living room. “He's in there.” With that Malik went back to the hallway, leaving Seto behind, confused. “So, what's your plan?” he asked, crossing his arms.

“Well, you know that there's a charity talent show coming up? I want you two to convince Yugi to join, and get Seto to go.” Atemu said, smirking.

Mariku rolled his eyes. “We don't have to do the second one. Seto's hosting the talent show, so he has to be there.” He told Atemu.

“Oh, oh! Can I pick what Yugi does?” Malik asked, jumping up and down, holding up his hand.

Both Mariku and Atemu sweatdropped, because they knew that the hikari was doing that, even if they couldn't see him. “Of course Malik. Just make sure it gets them together.” Atemu sighed, shaking his head.

“This will be fun.” Mariku said, and the other had to agree.

With Seto and Yugi:

“So, what's wrong with Ishtar?” Seto asked, sitting in the recliner after cleaning away the potato chip crumbs. How disgusting, he thought, crumbling his nose.

Yugi blinked. “What do you mean?” he asked, tilting his head. Seto tried to ignore how cute Yugi was as he answered.

“He answered the door before I had even knocked, and knew what I was here.” Yugi smiled and nodded.

“I think he's just been spending too much time with his sister. Besides, he's talking to Isis on the phone, so maybe she told him.” Yugi suggested.

Seto raised an eyebrow and nodded. Malik came bouncing back into the room, with Mariku walking slowly behind him, a confused look on his face as he watched his hikari. “Kaiba.” The yami said, sitting on the couch next to Yugi.

“Ishtar.” Seto nodded.

“Hi Seto!” Malik said, before turning to Yugi. “Hey Yugi, you know that talent show coming up?” he asked, leaning back and stealing a piece of chocolate.

Yugi nodded while Mariku stole the piece from Malik before he could eat it. “Yeah, what about it?” he wondered, confused.

Malik smiled and hugged the smaller boy, whispering in his ear. “You should join. It would be fun, and you would be helping all the poor orphans with no relatives.” Malik told him, knowing that going with the pity factor would snag Yugi automatically.

Meanwhile, Mariku was watching Seto glare at his hikari. He got up and went over to the richer teen “Your jealous, aren't you?” he asked, smirking.

Seto glared at him. “No.” he protested, though he knew he was lying, and he could tell Mariku could see it too.

“Yes you are. But, don't worry. Malik is only friends with Yugi, nothing more. And, I do know that Atemu doesn't mind you having a crush on his hikari.” Mariku said, going back to his seat.

Seto watched him go, confused. “Seto?” Yugi asked. “How do you sign up for the talent show?” he asked.

Seto looked at him before reaching into his jacket (AN: Gravity defying coat of DOOM!) and taking out some papers, giving them to Yugi. “Fill them out and bring them to Kaibaland within the next week.” He ordered.

“Thank you for the info, now please, GET THE HELL OUT OF OUR HOUSE!” Malik yelled, causing the other three to jump, startled.

Seto gave Mariku a look. “What the hell do you feed him?” he asked, causing the yami to sweatdrop.

Yugi smiled gently. “I'll walk you out Seto, I have to go home soon anyway. Don't want Atemu doing anything drastic.”

“Why would he do that?” Seto asked as he walked to the door with Yugi, the two Ishtars trailing behind them.

“Because Bakura left today, and he won't be back for a month.” Yugi explained.

“Oh.” All three boys said, before Malik smiled. “Well, bye-bye.” He said, before closing the door.

Mariku shook his head. “Did you set it all up?” he asked, excited about this little project.

Malik smiled brightly and nodded. “Yup. This will be even more fun then getting Atemu and Bakura together. Even if they haven't realized we did. Though, I wonder why they haven' t realized it yet?” He asked looking at his yami.

Mariku smirked. “Because Ryou told them that Isis was the one to do it, so they filled her wardrobe with jelly. Strawberry jelly.” He shuddered. “I hate strawberry jelly.” Malik nodded his head, completely in agreement with Mariku.

Later That Evening With Atemu and Yugi:

“Goodnight Yugi.” Atemu said as he closed his hikari's door and went to his room. He stripped down to his boxers and jumped onto his bed, grabbing the package from Bakura. “Finally. Now, what the hell did he send me?” he wondered as he carefully opened the box. He blinked as he looked at what was inside.

“Packing peanuts?” he tilted his head, confused. He shifted the packing peanuts away and looked at what he had really gotten. “A recorder. Weird.” He shrugged and pressed play, smiling as Bakura's voice came from it.

“Atemu, I know I don't say it, and I hardly ever show it, but I do deeply care for you. This was originally going to be your birthday present, but I'll give this to you early. Love you.” With that said, Bakura's voice began to sing:

Never had no one that I could count on
I've been let down so many times
I was tired of hurtin'
So tired of searchin'
Till you walked into my life”

Atemu smiled as he listened to it. Bakura truly did care for him, like he said. He had kind of thought that the relationship was a joke to Bakura.

It was a feelin' I'd never known
And for the first time, I didn't feel alone

You're more than a lover
There could never be another
To make me feel the way you do
Oh, we just get closer
I fall in love all over
Every time I look at you”

`Oh, this is so our wedding song.' Atemu thought, blinking as he realized what he had thought.

I don't know where I'd be
Without you here with me
Life with you makes perfect sense
You're my best friend
You're my best friend, oh yeah”

`Wedding? Wow, I must really like him. But are we ready to do this?' he wondered.

You stand by me
And you believe in me
Like nobody ever has
When my world goes crazy
You're right there to save me
You make me see how much I have
And I still tremble when we touch
And oh the look in your eyes
When we make love”

Probably not, he decided, pushing the thoughts from his head.

You're more than a lover
There could never be another
To make me feel the way you do
Oh, we just get closer
I fall in love all over
Every time I look at you”

“Oh, Bakura.” Atemu said, as he started to tear up.

I don't know where I'd be
Without you here with me
Life with you makes perfect sense
You're my best friend

You're my best friend

You're more than a lover
There could never be another
To make me feel the way you do
Oh, we just get closer
I fall in love all over
Every time I look at you

I don't know where I'd be
Without you here with me
Life with you makes perfect sense
You're my best friend

You're my best friend
You're my best friend

Hope that this is all right. Let me know.”

“Wow, Bakura.” That was Atemu could say as he wiped away his tears. “Well, I certainly will dream of you now.” With that, he stop the recorder and set it on his bed side table, before turning off his lamp and going to sleep, having dreams of Bakura all night long.

Three Weeks Later: Kaibaland Talent Show:

“We have a problem.” Atemu told the two Ishtars as they came towards him. They exchanged looks and blinked.

“Which is?” Malik asked, tilting his head.

Atemu pointed up above them and they looked to see Seto in a booth working on his laptop. “He can't hear anything from out here in there.” He said. “What do we do?” he wondered.

“Why don't we ask Mokuba? This is his brother, after all.” Mariku suggested, pointing to the black haired boy. Atemu blinked but shrugged, nodding.

The three walked over to the boy, causing him to look up from the clipboard he was looking at. “Hi guys! What do you want?” Mokuba asked, smiling at them.

“Well, you know Kaiba has a crush on Yugi, right?” Atemu waited for Mokuba to nod before continuing. “Well, Yugi likes him back and the three of us are trying to get them together but Kaiba locked himself away and can't hear the song Yugi's going to sing to him.” Atemu explained, smiling.

“And you want me to get him to come out, huh?” Mokuba guessed, smiling back.

Malik and Mariku nodded. “It would be greatly appreciated.” Malik said, looking up to see another act finish and the announcer …. announce another performer.

Mokuba nodded thoughtfully. “Don't worry, I'll help. Seto's really uptight, he needs someone to loosen him up.” Mokuba told him, causing them to laugh.

Atemu looked around as the laughter died down. “Alright, you go do that while we go calm Yugi down. He's really panicking.”

Mokuba nodded and the three older ones went back stage. Yugi looked up as they came towards him. “Guys, what am I going to do? I'm up next, and he's not even listening.” He said, looking very depressed.

“Don't worry, Yugi. Everything will be fine. Mokuba is helping us out.” Mariku assured him, gently pushing him towards the stage as the person up there was being booed off for his very bad jokes.

“And next is Yugi Mouto, singing a song just for our very own CEO, Seto Kaiba!” The announcer dude said, obviously reading off what Mokuba wrote out for him. Yugi gulped and walked out onto the stage.

He smiled nervously and started to sing:

On a Monday, I am waiting
Tuesday, I am fading
And by Wednesday, I can't sleep
Then the phone rings, I hear you
And the darkness is a clear view
Cuz you've come to rescue me

Fall... With you, I fall so fast
I can hardly catch my breath, I hope it lasts

“I can hardly hear him.” Malik said, sharing a look with his yami.

Mariku nodded. “Yugi, speak up!” he whispered, making sure only Yugi could hear him and not the audience. Yugi nodded subtly.

It seems like I can finally rest my head on something real
I like the way that feels
Ohhhhh
It's as if you know me better than I ever knew myself
I love how you can tell
All the pieces, pieces, pieces of me
All the pieces, pieces, pieces of me

Seto smirked from his place at the back of the crowd, looking at his crush. `Well, soon he'll be my boyfriend and lover.'

I am moody, messy
I get restless, and it's senseless
How you never seem to care

When I'm angry, you listen
Make me happy it's a mission
And you won't stop till I'm there

Fall... Sometimes I fall so fast
When I hit that bottom
Crash, you're all I have

Atemu smiled with pride swelling in his chest, when he realized something. “Bakura and Ryou owe me money.” He said, making Malik look at him.

“Why?” the blond boy asked, a little confused.

“Because we had a bet. They thought that Yugi would be too nervous to do this in public. I told them he could do it. `Course, I only did that because he was in the room, and he's my hikari.” Atemu said, mumbling the last sentence so only he heard.

Ohhhhh
It seems like I can finally rest my head on something real
I like the way that feels
Ohhhhh
It's as if you known me better than I ever knew myself
I love how you can tell
All the pieces, pieces, pieces of me

Mokuba looked up and recognized the look on his face. `Yugi's going to live with us now. I wonder how Atemu will take that?' he thought.

How do you know everything I'm about to say?
Am I that obvious?
And if it's written on my face...
I hope it never goes away... yeah

On a Monday, I am waiting
And by Tuesday, I am fading into your arms...
So I can breathe

`I wonder how Yugi's going to take it?' Mokuba wondered, looking to the short boy on the stage.

It seems like I can finally rest my head on something real
I like the way that feels
Ohhhhh
It's as if you've know me better than I ever knew myself
I love how you can tell
Ohhhhh
I love how you can tell
Ohhhhh
I love how you can tell
All the pieces, pieces, pieces of me
All the pieces, pieces, pieces of me

Everyone clapped and Yugi smiled, going back stage. “I don't have to go back upstage do I?” he asked. Atemu shook his head, confused. “Good.” Yugi said faintly, before his eyes rolled back in his head and he fell to the floor, unconscious.

Atemu looked at him. “Damn. Now I owe them money.” He said, and Malik and Mariku wisely decided not to ask.

One Week Later: The Domino Airport:

“Atemu!” a voice yelled, as a white blur cam racing towards the afore mentioned boy. Atemu laughed as he caught his boyfriend, who then proceeded to cover him in kisses.

“I see you missed me.” He teased, kissing his boyfriend.

“Damn it Bakura! Come help us!” shouted an unfamiliar female voice. The group (which included Mariku, Malik, Atemu, Yugi, Seto, and Mokuba, along with Bakura) looked to see Yaten and Ryou walking towards them, along with a girl behind them. She had long white hair with black streaks, and red eyes. She also had very pale skin. She raised an eyebrow. “What are you all staring at?” she demanded, her hands on her hips.

“God, she's like Bakura.” Mariku moaned, hiding his face in his hikari's shoulder.

Malik smiled and pushed Mariku away, laughing as he landed on his ass. “So, who are you?” I'm Malik Ishtar, and this is Mariku, my yami.” Malik introduced them, knowing Ryou and Bakura would have explained the yami hikari thing.

The girl smiled. “My name is Amura Evans. I'm Ryou's cousin.” She said, looking at the group.

Seto rolled his eyes. “Well, isn't this interesting.” Indeed Seto, it's very interesting.

End of Pieces Of Me

Well, there you go. This is my longest one-shot yet, so be happy. And you get to see Amura! Wee! So, please review!
