Really cute but watch out for those mature scenes in there, I'll try to put warnings.

~*~ Chapter 2 ~*~

Yugi sat on his couch and watched Yami roll around on the carpet. He laughed when Yami rolled under the couch, his tail sticking out as he made sniffing noises. He looked up when there was a soft knock on the door.

He stood and walked over to the door, Yami looking out from under the couch. He opened the door and saw his friend Ryou. Ryou had long, flowing white hair and large, brown doe eyes. He wore a blue sweater and some baggy blue pants. Yugi looked down and smiled at the figure holding Ryou's hand.

It was like a miniature version of Ryou except with sharper features, cute little white ears, and a mischievous glint in his eyes. He wore small, baggy jeans and a loose shirt, his tail was poking out of his pants and reminded Yugi of a horses tail.

"Hello Yugi," Ryou said as he entered the house. "Yugi, this is Bakura." He said as he pointed at the pup next to him.

"Hello Bakura," Yugi said as he scratched Bakura's ear. He stood up and motioned for the couch. "This is Yami." He said, pointing to the couch.

Ryou raised and eye brow and looked slightly confused. "Um Yugi? Where is he?" He asked.

"Under the couch." Yugi whispered to Ryou.

Ryou smiled and walked over to the couch. He bent down and looked under. He smiled when 2 crimson eyes looked at him with curiosity. Slowly, he slid his hands under the couch and grabbed the pup under the arms. He pulled it out and smiled. "You're right, it does have pretty eyes. He is so cute!!" Ryou said as he put Yami down in front of Bakura.

Yami leaned up and sniffed Bakura's hair, liking the smell of the shampoo he used last. He put his paw on Bakura's head and smiled. Bakura sat there and looked at the other pup, he leaned over and smelled Yami's hair. He smelled like chicken.

Suddenly, Bakura was picked up by Yugi and Yami was picked up by Ryou. They were hugged as Ryou and Yugi would say how cute they were. Finally, they were put down as Ryou and Yugi left for a snack.

Bakura sat down and waited until Yugi and Ryou were out of hearing range. He looked back over to Yami. "Hi."

"Hello." Yami said, his voice deep and regal, which is surprising from such a small animal.

"I'm Bakura."

"So I've heard." Yami said.

"You're Yami right?"

"Yes.......want to play a game?" Yami asked, sounding hopeful.

"What kind of game?" Bakura asked.

Yami grinned and hopped into a pouncing stance. "We could play catch."

"Catch? How do you play that?"

"Well, the humans call it tag, but I call it catch. What you do is you have to chase each other around and have to tag them. When they get tagged, they have to chase you."

"Okay, so, who chases who?"

"Well, I can chase you," Yami offered as he got ready to pounce. "Or you can chase me."

"How about.........I chase you?" Bakura said as he noticed Yami ready to pounce.

"*sigh* okay...." Yami said as he turned around and got ready to run. "When I say go........Go!!" He yelled and took off.

Bakura ran after Yami as fast as he could. He hadn't expected the small pup to be so fast. They turned into the dining room and ran through, going into another hall.

Yugi and Ryou laughed as the two ran in and then out of the room. "They are already friends, how cute, that wasn't to hard. Now all we have to do is wait for Jou to come." Ryou said.

"Yeah, when will he be here anyways?" Yugi asked.

"He said he had to give his pup a bath but the pup was being uncooperative." Ryou said and laughed at the thought.

Yugi laughed too. "That's pretty funny."

Yami ran into another room, noticing it as Yugi's room. He slid under the bed, knowing Bakura would be to large to fit under it. He smiled as Bakura tried to squeeze under but pull out.

"Hey, that's not fair!!" Bakura yelled.

"Ha ha ha ha ha!! You can't get me!!!" Yami said happily.

"But I can't reach you!!" Bakura said frustrated.

Yami snickered and scooted farther back under the bed. His head snapped to the side when the sound of knocking came from downstairs. "What's that?"

"The door." Bakura said.

"No, I meant, who's that?" Yami said.

"How am I supposed to know?"

Yami sighed and came out from under the bed. He motioned for Bakura to go out of the room with him.

The two walked out of the room and down the hall. They followed the sound to the front door, where they saw Ryou talking to a tall blond with honey colored eyes.

"Okay, I have to go Yugi, come here Bakura." Ryou said as he held out his hands for Bakura to come to, which Bakura did. He left the house and the blond entered.

"Hey Yug' what's up? Seto is out in the car right now, he won't come out." Jou, the blond, said while pointing to his car.

Yugi laughed and walked out to Jou's car. He peered in and smiled. "He's so cute!!" He yelled as he opened the door. A pup sat there, he had brown hair and piercing blue eyes. He looked at Yugi with his blue gaze and moved away. "It's okay, I won't hurt you."

Seto snorted. He looked behind Yugi to look at his `master', which he glared at. Then something caught his eye, a crimson red had flashed by inside the house. He stood up and allowed Yugi to pick him up. He was carried inside the house, which was larger than Jou's.

"I dunno how ya did that cause I can never get him out of the car." Jou said. "So, where's your pup? Have you got her yet?"

Yugi put Seto down and pointed at the couch, which had a tail sticking out from under it. "HE is under the couch." He said, emphasizing `he'.

"I thought you were gonna get a girl." Jou said confused.

"Well, he's a half so it's kinda like having both." Yugi explained.

"You gotta half?! Woah, I got to see it!!" Jou said as he approached the black, fuzzy tail. He slid down and looked under, seeing blood red eyes glaring at him. "Woah, his eyes are freaky."

"No they're not, they look just fine on his face." Yugi said as he slid down also and opened his hands.

Seto watched all of this, having noticed the tail earlier and not knowing what it was. He watched as the tail disappeared and, right when the figure came out, Jou got in the way.

"Wow, he does look good with those eyes. He looks just like you!! What's his name?" Jou asked as he held the small pup.

Seto rolled his eyes, thinking that the pup looked _just_ like Yugi, which he wasn't very fond of. He sat down stubbornly and watched as the two made comments about it.

"His name is Yami," Yugi said happily.

"It fits him." Jou commented.

"Let's see if Seto likes him!" Yugi said as he took Yami from them. He walked over to Seto, who had his back to them now.

Seto turned around when someone came and tapped him on the shoulder. He came face to face with a pup that pretty red eyes. He watched as the pup sat down and noticed it looked like a very sexy pup version of Yugi. `Wow.....'

Yugi and Jou left the room to go to the living room to play video games. They were making comments about each others pup.

"Hi, I'm Yami!" Yami said happily.

"Seto." Seto said.

"Want to play a game?"

"........no......."

"Please?" Yami asked as he gave Seto the puppy dog eyes.

`Can't resist.......puppy eyes........too cute..........Arg!' Seto thought. "Fine, what do you want to play?"

"Yay! How about catch?" Yami asked.

"Catch?"

"You have to chase the other person around and tag them, then it's their turn to chase and tag you!" Yami explained happily.

"Okay, who chases who?" Seto asked.

Yami got into a pouncing stance. "Well, I can chase you or....." He trailed off as he got ready to pounce.

Seto noticed Yami's stance. "How about I chase you?"

Yami smiled, "Okay." He said and suddenly turned and ran into another room.

Seto hopped up and quickly followed. He entered the room and looked around. `Where is he? Hey, what's that?' He thought as he noticed a black fuzzy thing sticking out from the closet. He approached it and grabbed it, smirking when a startled Yelp met his ears {which were brown and stuck out of his hair}.

Yami came out with a stubborn face. He looked at his tail, which was in Seto's hand, and then back up at Seto. He flicked his tail out of Seto's grasp and snorted. "It's rude to grab someone by their tail, you know."

"Uh huh, yeah right." Seto said sarcastically.

"Well, let's see how you like it." Yami said as he quickly grabbed Seto's tail. He laughed when a surprised squeak came from the other.

Seto blushed at the sound he made. He hadn't meant to make that noise but it was a surprise that Yami would grab his weak spot. `Do all pups have their tail as a weak spot?' He asked himself.

Yami dropped Seto's cat-like tail. He fell to the ground laughing, getting a growl from Seto. "You squeaked!!" He laughed harder.

"Well, it was a surprise!!" Seto yelled back frustrated.

Yami stood up and started to walk towards the exit to the room, tears of laughter rolling down his face, having forgotten about the game.

"Will you quit laughing?!" Seto asked. He looked around the living room and saw it was empty. "Where are Jou and Yugi?"

Yami's ears twitched slightly. "In the kitchen." Yami answered.

Seto nodded and sat down on the carpet, Yami sitting next to him. He noticed Yami lay down and watched as Yami started to fall asleep. He looked up at the voices that came in the room.

"Aw, that's so cute, they are already friends." Yugi said.

"Gee, I didn't thing Seto would like anyone. I don't know what he will be like in mating season." Jou said.

Yugi laughed at his best friend. "Well, I think you should leave, Yami is already asleep and I don't want Seto to get bored here. Come to my house when Seto starts acting weird, that may mean it's mating season."

"Okay, see ya!!" Jou said as he picked up Seto and left the house, shutting the door behind him.

Yugi looked down at the sleeping Yami. `I can't wait until we get those puppies, they'll be so cute!!'
